The owners were great communicators. The property has a nice open kitchen. We were able to spend time with our family while cooking meals.
It was only few miles from the boat launch.
The property was very clean and well taken care of.

This house has a great location for a long weekend of boating on the lake. It had everything we needed, except linens, which is clearly stated in the house description so not a big deal. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and the lack of wifi was fine by us—great to unplug! There was a tv to play DVDs, may have been nice to have a small collection of family friendly movies, or a couple board games, in case of rain, which we had one evening of our stay. Only other minor issue was the yard was not maintained so we didn’t make use of the fire pit and had to walk our small dog along the road away from the high grass in the yard. Overall a pleasant stay, convenient to the marina and BBQ, and we would stay again if we return to the area. Thanks Jodi and Clinton!

Six of us spent the weekend. Very nice place with everything we needed. It is in a nice neighborhood, so not for you if you want a remote cabin in the woods, but centrally located, clean, and roomy.

Plenty of space for everyone who came, 2 couples and 4 others. Decent outdoor space for a fire, but not much yard space to do much else like throw ball/play games. Some items like the grill and ping pong table were not in the best shape, but still were OK to use. Biggest downside was having the ping pong table in the basement away from everything else, and the basement is unfinished and musty. Didn't spend time down there.
Overall it was a nice place to stay. Would consider going back again, especially if the basement and grilling area get some TLC.

Can see daylight under the back door which may be the source of the ant issue in the home.
Large ants were in the kitchen and living room and in several cabinet. There was no ant spray at the property. Should invest in monthly extermination and fixing gap in back door may solve this problem. This is a very lovely home with GREAT location to the lake. Was perfect for our family. Had the ants not been so bad, I would have given this home all 5’s.

Excellent Mothers Day weekend/ Graduation
The property was easy to locate. The house was clean and roomy. We had a blast playing pool and relaxing on the porch.
Easy to get to surrounding areas and Penn St. The lake was beautiful and picturesque. We took lots of pictures. I recommend for familys and a peaceful stay.

Very clean and well kept home.
This was a fabulous location and a beautiful home to stay at for us. We enjoyed going to the lake and hiking at the nearby trails. We also went to the caverns and had a terrific time. The caverns were far better than we expected. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the home and all of the amenities it offered. Communication with the owner was above excellent. He was easy to reach and there was prompt and courteous communication. Everything was far better than we expected on this vacation. A big added plus was the pool table, ping pong table, and foosball table. A big thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful place!

Thanksgiving with family
We met family members here to spend Thanksgiving together. It is a beautiful home in a rural setting. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, silverware, and pans for cooking. We brought our bedding (sheets, blankets) and bath towels. There is a fire pit in the back, we gathered sticks in the backyard to make a fire to cook s'mores. There is no cable TV which would have been nice; we were able to access 2 or 3 channels. We brought games and enjoyed using the pool table and foosball. We hiked one day but mostly stayed inside due to the cold weather. There is a Walmart nearby for grocery shopping.
The house has a few maintenance issues, such as slow drain in a bathtub, leaking refrigerator and dirty oven. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this lovely home and making memories!

Penn State Weekend
The house is very nice - once you find it. The address that the owner provides does NOT match any gps / map address (440 vs 12853). And their written directions are even more confusing - it is the 2nd house on the right BEFORE the cul-de-sac turn around. NOT the 2nd house at the cul-de-sac - there is ONLY 1 house at the cul-de-sac and they don't appreciate people driving up to their home.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The freezer drips into the frig, thus the bowl they have on the top shelf - they need to clear the freezer drain tube. The sectional in the main living area needs to be moved to the basement - no padding or support - sit in a hole or on the wood frame. However, the couch in the loft by the pool table is very comfortable. One other thing was the hand soap that was provided at the bathroom and kitchen sinks - it has been diluted so many times with water, that it doesn't even lather up.

Very nice neighborhood and close to Seven Points Marina
The house was clean and close to Seven Points Marina. The whole family enjoyed themselves. The property was as discribed and everything we needed was within a short driving distance. The neighborhood was quiet friendly, and private. I tried to book it again for next year but it was already booked. The only downside was it was difficult to find as the house number does not coincide with the house numbers next to it and we weren't looking for the house number to be on a lamp post and no mailbox and there was no TV remote so we were limitied on what we could do with the TV but we weren't there to watch TV.

Lake Vacation
This house was perfect for our long weekend getaway. We had never been to the area before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but this house surpassed our expectations. I was concerned about not having tv or WiFi since we had 4 kids/teenagers with us but they didn’t even notice!
The only suggestion I have is to be a bit more clear with directions once you get into the neighborhood. Both Waze and Google Maps had us arriving at a different house and it was very confusing because the other houses were numbered differently. I stopped to ask a neighbor for directions/help and they were less than friendly since we were renters.
Other than that our stay was fantastic!

Beautiful house and neighborhood
This is a beautiful house and the photos online don’t do it justice. However I don’t feel it was very clean, particularly in the age of Covid. Some of the glass shelves in the fridge had food on them in the back. The oven hasn’t been cleaned in quite a while and I suspect the bath mats weren’t freshly laundered. These are all some of the items on the top of my list for being clean. Particularly if I am renting and paying for cleaning services.
However the mattress covers looked very new and clean as did the pillows, although we had brought our own. It is a great house for small family gatherings. Some in our group had remote work commitments and had to go elsewhere to find WiFi, when I feel that should been easily provided in your property, even if you had to charge more for it. If I needed to rent in the area again, I would likely have to look for a house with WiFi.

Weekends getaway
Stayed here with a few friends for the weekend. Very nice, clean place. Very close to seven points/Susquehannock campground, and allegrepis trailhead. Pool table was a nice touch. Great porch for relaxing after a busy day. No complaints whatsoever.

Great location for a weekend away
House was in a perfect location and had all the amenities we needed. Wish we would’ve known it didn’t have cable before we booked but we went to a restaurant to watch the game any way. Otherwise house is something we will Def come back for!

Since this property was one of the higher priced rentals in this area, we expected it to be similar to that of a 4-star property for that area. We would rate the house at a 2.5 or 3-star property. All the furniture was very old and broken down including the beds, and the house had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. There were cobwebs in almost every room and heavy dust on all ceiling fans so they could not be used. The oven and dishwasher were filthy and there was a baking sheet in the oven that was greasy and had bits of cooked meat stuck on it. The house itself is nice, and had it been clean with somewhat updated comfortable furniture, we would rent it again.

Great property
As Pa residents, we didn’t want to travel out of state during Covid. This was the perfect vacation. House was very clean and close to bike trails as well as Seven Points marina, kayaking, swimming, etc. Neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed our stay here. Thanks so much!

Relaxing Great Time
We enjoyed our stay at your house a few weekends ago. The house was clean and organized. The kitchen was fully stocked - we loved the outdoor space and the front porch. Seeing the deer in the neighbors yard was a nice treat for the kids. Everything was just as it was described. We would return!! Thank you!

Excellent property
Lovely house, plenty big enough for a family to be comfortable. Close to the lake & all the activities. Only problem was finding the house! It is not numbered like the rest of the houses in the development & we finally had to call the owner to get directions! Once there everything was great!

Nice family get away
We would stay at this property again.
Property was in a very nice quiet neighborhood. It was only minutes away from Lake Raystown and not a long ride to Huntingdon. Spacious. Well-stocked kitchen. Nice pool table and fossball.
