Disappointment from the host

I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience. the women who manages did not leave me alone from the time I made the booking right up until she cancelled on me at the last minute the day we were meant to arrive.I receive no fewer than 43 txt messages about a dozen emails several missed calls along with maybe 6-8 that I answered.This women asked me to change the booking dates to earlier ones so as she could book out other rooms (this did not make scene to me but I did it because she reassured me that we would still have our booking on the days we booked for) the whole experience was so frustrating then last minute we had to find another location to stay which I might add was beautiful and relaxing what we were looking for the first time. there is so much more to this story but I think you get the gist of my disappointment.

the host would not leave me alone constantly txting or ringing or emailing while I trying to sleep on night shift. then cancels last minute. I would not recommend this location if you want to destress and have a peaceful relaxing stay

Fantastic cozy weekend getaway spot, so quiet and relaxing. 100% will return!

It's hard to find pet friendly accommodation so this was a big PLUS :) My dog Baxter had the best time running around the property and he even went for a swim in the creek. The fireplace was probably my favourite thing as the weather was a bit cold and rainy on during our stay. The host made sure we had plenty of wood and replenished our stocks each morning.

We had a great stay at run away to Maleny. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I.

A very tranquil and lush experience! They were very welcoming for our doggo Zepplin too.

wonderful location and venue is fabulous, loved the bush walks and sounds of birds was relaxing.

location and lovely accommodation facilities. Krystal was great and communication from booking made until leaving the property was great.

main bedroom was slightly cold but lovely.

Super friendly host - dogs welcome

Jen and Ian are very motivated hosts and their place is stunning. We did book as we wanted / needed to have our dogs with us. Finding accommodation where dogs are allowed are rare so we appreciated the opportunity. Having a wood fired place was great. Bed is super comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and great shower. We did not spend any time on site during the day despite the offer to do so and to utilise the facilities. For guests who can enjoy all the the facilities it would be a clear 10/10. We loved the welcome card, fruit and chocolate and home made macadamia cookies..

real coffee would be great to have included - there was an espresso machine.

Beautiful location, very cosy.

Owners were quite intrusive. Received many phone calls during the stay, some of which interrupted naps, meals and intimate moments. Some may appreciate this level of interaction, but it made it difficult to settle in and enjoy the beautiful location. The caretaker was great.
