About this chalet rental
Cozy updated custom chalet in a beautiful lakefront community with 2 pools (one is brand new with a separate kiddie pool with fountains and bathrooms). Unit sleeps 8 ( this includes four bunks that have a 150lb weight limit and sleep one each, and three Full beds. Also includes a custom bathroom, grilling deck, and screened porch. Endless summer fun awaits at the private community beach, multiple pools, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pit, fishing pond, shuffleboard courts, pickleball, basketball courts and a community fire-pit to end the day with a s’more.
The Township Park & beach is also adjacent to the property offering even more privacy & nature. Many wineries, breweries and restaurants close by.
Please note there are two pools available. One of the pools is open until the end of September. The other closes after Labor Day weekend.
Included are all kitchen essentials, beach chairs, towels, umbrella, smart tv and WIFI, bathroom towels, Paper towels and TP...ETC We have provided most of the essentials to feel at home while on vacation!
Please note the chalet itself is not lakefront nor does it have a lake view. It is a short 4 minute or less walk to 2 amazing beaches in our chalets on the lakes community. Our unit is across the street from the pool & volleyball courts/horseshoe pit & shuffleboard. Pickle ball/basketball court is in the backyard.

An awesome community with a private beach, two pools, a big playground, and lots of things to do. We couldn’t get enough of snapping family photos and heading to Saint Joseph in the evenings for dinner and walks. It’s only 12-15 minutes away and a beautiful drive. The Chalet isn’t too big, too small, but perfect for our family of 3. Walking to the nearest pool and volleyball court is less than 1 minute. The beach is 2-5 depending on which you choose.

Madyson and Ryan are great hosts and very responsive. The grounds of the chalet are wonderful for kids. The house has what you need, and the basically-appointed lodging encourages you to get outdoors! It's all about enjoying time on the beach as a family.

This was our first time staying at this property. The whole property was well kept and quite even though there were many families there. We do wish there would have been someplace on property to do laundry. Will definitely stay again.

Great property located in the middle of a quiet Chalet community with tons of activities for the family, two beach accesses, courts, pools, ect. This Chalet was clean, nicely updated, and well situated on the property. Everything as described/pictured, and owners were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Look forward to visiting for years to come!

We loved staying at chalet by the lake. The kids could play tennis, basketball, soccer, and volleyball, do the pool and playground, and we had access to two beaches all without leaving the grounds. Sawyer and Stevensville are short drives for restaurants and in-town activities. Will definitely be back!

We loved staying here at this property. It was close to everything and it was right next to a private beach area. Almost every evening we were the only ones at the beach. It also had a playground which my 2-year-old son loved. This property was less than 10 minutes away from downtown Stevensville's stuff to do and less than 20 minutes away from St. Joseph's downtown. We really loved that everything was close by. Great for my little family as well as my friend couple.

This was such a chill and easy vacation, we can’t wait to go back! The space is perfectly set up and great size for our family of three. It could sleep a lot more, but it would be tight. The updated bathroom and modern feel made the stay feel extra nice and cozy. We loved that we could walk or bike around to all the things we wanted to do. The beaches, two pools, multiple playground, tennis and views made this place so chill and fun. Sunsets were also amazing. Sort car ride to st joe and other sights. We also biked to grand mere state park which has one of our favorite beaches in Michigan. Would definetly stay at the chalets again! Highly recommend. ;)

Perfect property and location for a relaxing family getaway! The house was clean and nicely updated with comfortable beds and furniture. Our group of four adults and two toddlers had plenty of space to spread out. The community’s amenities exceeded our expectations with multiple pools, beaches, playgrounds, basketball courts, and plenty more within walking distance to entertain us all. We didn’t feel the need to leave the community and only left once for dinner in Saint Joseph, which was a short car ride away. We will be back again next year!

Everything was good beside 2 major things:
1. It is not the whole chalet, but only a half of it. You can hear second party at all times, especially, if your neighbors are teenagers. It should be clearly stated on the listing!
2. Air conditioning is extremely loud and not effective at all. We literally “survived” for 3 nights. You also cannot use covered porch because very hot air blowing from back portion of neighbor’s A/C unit thru wide gaps in the wall-devider.
This unit is for max 2 adults and 2 kids. Upper bank bed is not for a kid because it is not safe enough.
On other hand, the lake, swimming pools, and ground are perfect. You will enjoy your stay outside the chalet!

The property was very nice for our time. The one complaint is the smell from the screened in porch made it unusable but we never intended to spend much time there due to the heat. Our kids 12 & 10 loved the beach and had fun playing Volleyball on the courts out side our home. I totally recommend this to other families with small children it is as close to a private beach you will find.

Casual and relaxing stay!
Our family had a great time at this property! The owner was great with communication. This is a family atmosphere kind of place. The beaches attached were wonderful! I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great stay on Lake Michigan
Exceptional location. Private beach with several amenities included at the house. Kids loved the bunk beds. Quiet community. Nice pools and a playground. Close to town. There was even a high chair which came in handy for the younger kids. The stair back is open which was OK and can be seen in pictures. I didn't pay attention or I soul is have brought a gate for the small children. We had a very nice stay and plan to go back.

We absolutely loved this chalet! The location to the private beach was convenient, St. Joseph was only 10 minutes away, and the chalet itself was well kept and cozy. We can’t wait to come back!

Place is very nice and we enjoyed it. Nice beds and bedding, which is important to us. The only thing that I would suggest is that the place is in need of some TLC. It's clean, just needs attention. Realizing that beach property is difficult to keep pristine. We'd definitely stay again. Had a glitch with the internet. Ryan responded immediately.

Nice Little Cabin and Property
Ryan was a great host and worked with us on some last minute changes to our guest list.
The property is really family friendly with tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball, shuffle board, 2 pools, etc etc. Also, the beach access is super convenient.
The unit itself was nicely updated and clean. It is definitely cozy especially for the 10 guests we had altogether but we really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed in early June and the weather was definitely chilly to enjoy all of the swimming activities especially Lake Michigan.

Wonderful Stay!
This chalet is just as adorable in person as it looks in the photos! It’s not a large place, but the furnishings and decor do a great job maximizing the space and making it super comfortable to stay and relax. In addition, the complex is amazing for kids! The playground, pool (nice and warm), beach, and tennis courts are all a very short walk so there is tons to do. Would definitely recommend!

Hosts with the most!
The hosts were fantastic to work with. Their property reflects a special interest in creating a space for others to enjoy a relaxing time away. We’ve rented other units on this property, this home offers extra perks in that they supply linens , bath towels, beach towels and chairs, outdoor play equipment, and basic pantry items. For us that meant one less Bin to pack up and bring! Decorated with care and comfort as well!!

A very quaint property very close to the pool, and only a few minute walk down to the lake in Sandy beaches beaches... the owners of the property are very hospitable and very concerned about the accommodation & stay if you have any concers.

Such a Cute Place and Great Hosts
We rented this unit so I could do the Ironman in St. Joe. It was close enough to the race that travel wasn't an issue but also gave us lake access and an adorable place to crash!

We have honestly never had a worse experience staying anywhere - and certainly not using VRBO. The unit is listed as sleeping 10. There is absolutely no way you could fit 10 people in this condo. The community is listed as having 2 pools. There are not 2 pools. There is one small pool, full of drunken adults screaming curse words all day. The whole property is very rundown and sketchy. There is no place to take trash, and no outdoor privacy to speak of. The inside of the unit has a staircase coming down in the middle of the room, and the worst possible configuration of furniture that resulted in every single person (adults, children and toddler) all hitting their heads on it as you try to navigate around furniture to get to the “living area”. The grounds people were completely useless, and would “forget” to unlock the pool in the morning. The pool bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I could go on for hours about what a terrible experience it was, and how disappointing it was, but this should suffice. I have no idea how there are no other negative reviews about this property.

Lakeside Haven!
Our chalet and this property was absolutely wonderful. We had it almost all to herself due to the timeframe of mid June. It's like a little haven. Our own beach fronts and that is plural; two to choose from with the most beautiful settings and sunsets. I have traveled many places in the Caribbean and Hawaii and I felt like I was in one of those places. It's just heavenly. I will be back and I will tell all my friends!! Michigan is God's country and I will continue most of mine journies there!! Everything about this place is wonderful and almost a throwback in time where you feel like you are at a special resort where you have access to so many special things. It has a definite family feel!

Like Summer Camp
We enjoyed our stay and there were many things for kids to do (beach, pool, volleyball, tennis, etc.). I do want to mention that this rental has 2 bedrooms that are both upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs. The stairs are also a bit steep, so something to keep in mind with younger children or older adults. Otherwise, it felt like being at summer camp and the kids loved every minute.
