Location.
Disponibilità dello staff.
Dalle finestre non si vede niente in quanto si è su un parcheggio.
In cucina ci sarebbe piaciuto avere un bollitore e dello scotex.
Spazio davvero contento, specialmente la zona cucina.

Beautiful, quaint little cottage on lovely grounds. Everything you could need for a short stay was provided and they even included a dog basket with treats, toys and a towel - fab little touch. The location is perfect for exploring lots of areas. Great hosts, very friendly!
Nothing!

Great location for walking, cycling and watersports.Very peaceful and quiet.
Overall everything was good. The Studio was compact but we knew this before we went.

Not a lot really. Photos on website VERY MISLEADING regarding the size and facilities.
More honesty in the description. The bed was smaller than expected and far from comfortable. The mattress topper was thin and came adrift during sleep. Only 1 and a half toilet rolls left for six day stay and only two towel sets (bath and face towel) for two people. Induction hob not particularly good but usable. Microwave was ok but TOO HIGH UP FOR SAFETY. The kettle, along with the microwave and toaster, are placed far too high for safety in use. (unless you are 6' 6" then your feet will stick out of the bed) Only one t-towel,no paper towels.
DVD remote not working. tv too small and audio tinny. Overall, the property is a miserable let-down and a disgrace to the beauty of the Lake District.

very cosy exactly what we needed really as we were only up there to attend a wedding
the property was not lit up outside on arrival so we did struggle to find it. we then struggled to get into the lockbox for the key. and the long life milk left for us had gone out of date a week prior other than that it was all good.

We really loved the studio, it was a great size for us and was well equipped. Wonderful location and really comfortable. We would stay again.

A beautiful spot to stay. It was perfect for a short break for the two of us. The local pub was a short walk and offered a warm welcome. Ees Wyke studio is a lovely compact self contained annexe.

Location very good some wonderful walks no the doorstep. Apartments small but has everything you need.
Nothing.

It's a lovely little studio that has everything you need. It is very clean and nicely renovated. The area is beautiful, you can walk down to the lake through private hotel land.
There's no view from studio itself, and the seating area is basically on the road that leads to main hotel building.

Clean and cosy studio flat situated in a stunning location overlooking Esthwaite water, with a well equipped kitchen (kettle, 4 x hobs, toaster and microwave all provided). They were very thoughtful and had put up a gate out the front for the dog as well as leaving water + food bowls and treats. We loved the setting and often sat out the front overlooking the farmer fields down to the water or took our dog through the fields. It’s a 5 min drive into Hawkshead or 15 mins into Ambleside. Would highly recommend!
It is a small studio flat but I think that is reflective in the price. It is in a remote setting so would only advise if you can drive.

Literally everything! The perfect little bolt hole. Ideal for a soloist or a pair. Dog friendly - super. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. We will most definitely visit the area again - hopefully in the not too distant!! So much to do on the doorstop. Both within walking distance, and a ton of attractions/places to visit slightly further afield but within just several miles/up to about a 20 min drive (Ambleside, Bowness, Windermere and Hawkshead only down the road) - including an abundance of National Trust places: ideal for members. I felt extremely safe as a lone female traveller. Helped by the fact the property has a feel of being off the beaten track of a main road, nestled within a courtyard area near a couple of other properties occupied by lovely people and next to the country house hotel. The property is well equipped. Super comfy, good quality bed, bedding and towels. Everything you’d want in a studio kitchen. Cosy and warm (adjustable temp on heaters set to 15.5 degrees but we like the warmth and in a still chilly March visit, found that 18 degrees was ideal). Nature, peace, beauty, history. This place has it all! No need for comms with staff as booking via their agent, hence my review as n/a.
Nothing. Just a couple of suggestions/points which might help other guests…
The wifi and signal were extremely poor, but this clearly cannot be helped given the beautiful rural location - and frankly it was a nice excuse to ‘switch off’ from modern life / demands. I only mention here so others are aware and can manage their expectations accordingly.
The bathroom gets extremely chilly (no criticism - simply age/style/quirk of the property). This was no issue but I highly recommend keeping the adjoining door shut between it and the main room.
Also, don’t be tempted to turn the shower temp up too high. The unit is not very powerful (suggestion is that the long haired leave ample time for hair washes) but if turned up hot, it goes from one extreme to the other and you have limited windows of opportunity to get underneath the water. I like a hot shower and found that the grey coloured setting about 4 notches away from the red coloured setting was ample.

Everything was wonderful, location, facilities and even the weather. Cottage was so quiet, exceptionally well equipped for such a compact space. I could have lived there forever. Thank you Richard

Couple who owned the property were lovely and helpful when needed.
So much smaller than we expected.Too small to stay in. photos online were deceptive.

Lovely building & location. Very quaint & chocolate box look.
Fixtures and fittings I thought were very budget. Pictures on the wall looked like they'd been cut out from a magazine. I got an initial impression that the property had been furnished for a very minimal amount... nothing felt 'quality'.
Plaster peeling off wall in a couple of areas. Black mold in shower cubicle with tired silicone sealant. Gunge in shower head. Sink hot taps scolding hot. Small double bed. Very weathered front door with rusting ironware around handle.
There was no 'theme' inside the property and it had a feeling that it's contents had been thrown in from a second hand shop. Nothing matched and had a 'student flat' feel about it.

This is a perfect bolt hole for visiting the Lake District. We returned here for our 2nd visit with our dog and we had a great time. The property is small but perfectly formed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You’ll hear nothing but the odd “barr” from the nearby sheep and be spoilt by stunning views of the countryside. The owners knew we would be bringing our dog with us and kindly put up a small wire pen outside the front door so that we could safely have the door open if we wanted to without the dog running out.
If you’re staying here, be sure to book a table for dinner at the Tower Bank Arms which is just a 5 minute walk up the road. Food and drink are fantastic and the staff incredibly friendly.
Cant wait to visit again soon. Thank you to the owners for making it such a comfortable stay.

The location was fantastic and the studio was great for a couple of days.
We had been given the wrong code for the key on arrival, and had to wait and get someone from the hotel to help. Nobody was available on the phone to help.

Beautiful location, cosy comfortable facilities.
Very friendly staff

We had a brilliant 6 night stay at Ees Wyke.
It is an excellent self contained studio with a very well equipped kitchen. Being on the country house site, you can have the best of both world and eat breakfast/dinner there plus the staff are on hand to fix issues with the property too.
Near Sawrey itself is a fabulous location and many walks can be taken directly from the property. There are local eateries/pubs too but it is extremely quiet giving you the best of both worlds.
We would love to stay again and would highly recommend.
Nothing - just what we needed for a walking holiday.
