The Eaves is a great flat. It's comfortable, cosy, clean, and very tastefully decorated. The Seaviews are great, and access to cafés, restaurants, and bus services is great too. It's very well equipped. The owner responded quickly to a maintenance problem and got it sorted. He was easily contactable and very helpful.
Parking is a potential problem, particularly for packing and unpacking days. It's potluck if you can find somewhere close by. Most of the week, I used the buses and left my car parked several minutes walk away..
Otherwise I would highly recommend this flat.

Wonderful location, right on the beach. Safe, because we were on the 2nd floor. Great eaves windows meant we could leave them open at night to listen to the waves and enjoy the cooling breezes. Really well provisioned apartment, had everything you needed.
Only issue is parking, which isn't allocated, but strangely we were always able to find a park at the front along the street, and the car we had was tiny, which was ideal. Not a lot they can do to change this, maybe if the owners had a Resident's Permit which guests could use, otherwise you have to move your car every 2 hours.

Property was booked for my niece and her friend, over from America for the first time as lone travellers. They were thrilled with the size and quality of the property after hostel accommodation, and loved the fantastic sea views on both sunny and stormy days. Special thanks to Tim and Nicky for being so helpful to them and leaving a lovely note for my niece to wish her a happy birthday. They had a fantastic time and didn't want to leave
Nothing, they loved every minute, thank you

the location was excellent. sea views at the dining table and living room were amazing.
everything we needed was in the apartment , even a bottle of wine ( nice touch)
wood burning stove is great for those winter evenings
nothing really. while the doorways are low and sloped ceilings.
this is what gives the place character

An exceptionally comfortable, peaceful apartment right by the sea. The owners have thought of everything their guests might need and gone out of their way to make this a fantastic place to stay. The kitchen was better equipped than anywhere else I've stayed. Really appreciated having a bath as well as shower, it made the bathroom quite snug but so worth it. Loved being able to hear the waves with the windows open - and pop over the road for a swim before breakfast!
The only thing I didn't like was having to leave :)

The location is superb. Overlooking the beach, easy walk to sandy beach at Folkestone and minutes from Sandgate high-street. The property is well maintained, very clean and comfortable.
If you are over 6foot the ceilings are quite low.

This flat has a wonderful location overlooking Sandgate Beach, it is comfortable and well furnished, even including free to use beach gear. The owners are exceptionally helpful, too!

Clean and well-stocked apartment, lovely views, amazing location.
7.5
Opposite the beach at Sandgate. Nice apartment with new furniture, and 4 beach chairs!
Should mention that the apartment is not suitable for tall people. Recommend below 1.70, prefer not taller than 1.80, no-go for 1.90 and taller (like me).
Parking is very limited and not really free; not really available near the apartment either. Parking restricted between 8AM-6PM with a max of 2 hours during the day. Parking is very limited in the immediate area; near Esplanade free parking but very crowded! Nowhere to go when (un)packing your car.
