Amazing experience and pleasant stay thanks to Fern staff

The location was great and the room we got was amazing. It had a full view of Mussoorie and an infinity view of Dehradun The staff was very courteous, friendly and took very good care of the guests needs Food variety was great. Also extra effort taken to prepare local specials or dishes as per season at the hotel. Special mention of the Masala tea counter especially when the weather got very cold. Hotel recommended Sagar's local tours to us. With Sagar we did some very different and interesting walks of Landour and Mussoorie. He is a local resident and a trekking enthusiast. He can curate some really good experiences for the guests. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and fulfilling.

Nothing particular. Just that sometimes the dessert variety is too much. They can do with fewer but good dishes. Cannot really open the windows due to fear of monkeys.

Stay at Fern Brentwood Resort Mussorie 10th to 13th October, 2023

Food, location, and hospitality was the best in class. Special mention to Chef Naveen Negi, Kamal from Restaurant were always looking at your needs. Suraj from Front Office made sure that my check in is successful and hassle free 😄

There should be an option for cab services for in-house guests. Railway Station pick up, airport drop pick up facility should be provided for a seamless stay instead of searching for cabs. Also another thing which I would like to mention. Guests shouldn't be served tap water which was provided to me during my breakfast buffet. RO water was provided to my family but when I asked the server to give me a glass of water he provided me with tap water which was clearly understandable when you drink. There is heaven and hell difference between RO and Tap water. This should be looked into. Rest all was beyond my expectations.

Felt very special, beautifully kitted out and wonderful food .

Loved the food, especially high - tea and huge breakfast. Staff super friendly. Located at beginning of Mall, central to walks etc.

Due to location/ rainy season the room permanently’damp’ so clothing & towels couldn’t dry out. Other than that no complaints.

Excellent stay at Fern Mussoorie

The property is inside the mall road and well maintained. They also have parking available onsite. The rooms were spacious and had Mountain View from the window

Awesome stay at brentwood

Comfortable and spacious rooms, nice ambience and beautiful interior. Cooperative staffs. We enjoyed every meal in half board and complementary tea with snacks in lawns with light music. Breakfast and buffet in dinner are delicious. Nice servcies by Nipendra Kumar, suraj and kamal. Kids really enjoyed the play area. Rajni madam We love to visit and dine with you next time....

Good

Food is very good. Breakfast has lots of variety and nice taste. Dinner had lots of items and great taste food, my entire family loved that. Location is good but hotel ambience is very good!!

Room service was very slow. Had to call multiple times to room service or reception to get things done.

Mussoorie holiday

Property is nicely maintained. Our suite was in the new wing and it still had the fresh feel... The valley view from the balcony was great. Catering and food options at the hotel are superb (both for breakfast & dinner). The High Tea and games organized by the hotel in the evening helped us to unwind and entertain ourselves. Would highly recommend a visit to Jabarkhet Nature Reserve and Landour instead of visiting the usual tourist spots at Mussoorie which are always crowded.

Approach road to the hotel - You need to walk approx 70 meters from the point where you get down from the taxi (at Picture Pallace) and this approach road is always crowded. The length of the bed in our room was on the shorter side, this can be an issue for someone who is more than 6 ft tall. There are no fans in the rooms and the air conditioning cooling can be better. There is nothing to do at Mussoorie apart from walking the mall road which is always overcrowded.

The cabs are not allowed on mall road so I had to walk for 800 mtr. with luggage to reach hotel.

Great food and staff, but not so great facilities

Very hospitable staff, delectable food specially the live parantha counter in the breakfast. The special arrangements for the Holi festival and festival menu were delightful.

Inaccurate listing on booking.com Pet charges were not informed during the check in Bed linen was not very clean Room location, which was the highest category room of the property was not up to the mark.

Every thing is charged. even though its in house snooker, carrom etc. B’fast was also not included in our package.
