Genial!!!

El trato por parte del personal es espectacular, la ubicación increíble al lado de todo ( muy recomendable la playa de La Ñora a 5 minutos en coche del hotel). Dio la casualidad de que eramos la únicapareja en el spa y fue increíble, pequeñito pero no le falta de nada, hay hasta maquina de agua. El desayuno genial, he ido a muchos horeles con desayuno incluido pero es la primera vez que nod ofrecen “cocina caliente” durante el servicio (dan una carta pequeñita com cosas para hacer en el momento) y no pudo gustarnos más. Comentamos en recepción si había posibilidad de hacer la salida más tarde y no hubo ningún problema. En cuanto a la habitación nos dejaron una nota escrita a mano, café y agua de cortesía y una caja de gominolas. El baño totalmente equipado, había hasta lima de uñas! A la salida la chica de recepción nos dios dos latas de agua para el camino. Repetiriamos infinitas veces en este horel y por supuesto en la cadena, ha sido GENIAL.

Por poner alguna pega, hay muchos problemas con la conexión de la TV a internet, imposible poner Netflix y Youtube va muy flojo; mi pareja y yo coincidimos en que las almohadas no eran nada cómodas, nos levantamos con un buen dolor de cervicales, pero también es verdad que podríamos haberlo comentado en el momento y sin problemas sabemos que hibieran hecho lo posible para mejorarlo.

We were really impressed with this hotel. The staff are excellent and the facilities are extremely clean. We loved the pool and the gym is very well equipped. You do pay extra to use the spa but it was worth it. On one day it rained in the morning but there is a lovely terrace where we sat undercover. The breakfast was excellent and there was an extensive choice. We ate in the restaurant on 2 nights which was very good. There is a gorgeous little beach a short drive away with stunning views from a footpath through the woods, which we loved and had a great bar/restaurant.

Una estancia inolvidable

El trato del personal, simplemente exquisito. La filosofía de esta cadena de hoteles en cuanto a bienestar, productos de proximidad cuidado del entorno, respeto por el medioambiente. Además es un preciosidad, el jardín con la piscina y poder ver más allá, el verde de los prados, un lujo que no pasa desapercibido. La decoración, tan actual, mezclando estilos y siempre con un recuerdo de las baleares (en algunas tapicerías) tampoco deja indiferente. Han sabido aunar todos esos matices en un resultado elegante y actual, así como sumamente acogedor. El desayuno , que estaba incluido en el precio resulta una experiencia deliciosa. Con un poquito de todo y la posibilidad de pedir extras, fríos o calientes que te preparan en el momento. No hay mejor forma de empezar el día, tanto en la terraza con sus magníficas vistas al jardín y sus setos floridos y la piscina, como en el salón interior si el “orbayu” nos invita a guarecernos. Pero si la excelencia está en cualquiera de mis apreciaciones sería justo resaltar sobre todas las cosas la atención del personal, correcta, educada a la vez que cercana, podría decir que el trato ha sido maravilloso. La relación calidad precio es muy justa y sin dudarlo repetiría. Nuestras circunstancias no han hecho posible que pudiéramos disfrutar del spa ni de la piscina pero tomamos buena nota para la próxima. No puedo dejar de mencionar las cenas, platos exquisitos, elaborados unos y otros muy caseros. Pero productos de buenísima calidad destaco el arroz con piti caleya, el bacalao confitado, el rubiel al horno y el entrecot laminado. De postre el birramisú y la tarta de queso son de morirte.

Superb

Flexibility and kindness of the staff; when we checked in, we had a room with very small windows (view on the roof of the hotel). They changed the room towards another with large windows & view on the pool without any hassle. On top of this, facilities are modern, spacy and foreseen of all necessary features. Restaurant with nice terrace with view on the garden.

Very enjoyable stay in a nice and calm environment

ARTIEM Asturias is a 'hidden gem' - lovely situated in a quite zone but beaches, Gijon and other great cities are easily reached. This hotel turned out to be a great and relaxing 'starting point' for our daily adventures. Personnel is really kind and nice and provides great ideas to spend the day in the region - swimming pool is perfect for warm days. Breakfast and dinner are great - we're both vegetarians but had enough to chose from. All in all we really enjoyed the hospitality of this hotel

Misleading information

We felt the information about the facilities of this hotel is slightly misleading. We booked this hotel because there was an indoor pool, but when we arrived we found out you have to pay 36 euros per hour extra as a couple (even 44 euros per hour in the weekend) to use the indoor pool. This was not mentioned anywhere on Booking.com. Therefore, we wouldn't return. I would recommend going to Coolrooms Palacio de Luces instead; also a 5 star hotel but then with all the facilities included for a similar price per night. On a positive note; the rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable.

Great hotel overall.

Incredible hotel with a great breakfast and perfectly equipped and comfortable rooms.

The fact that the entire spa is only available for additional payment is not ok. It is understandable for special spa services but, at least, the interior pool should be free access to hotel guests (or at least a normal price, not a premium price of 30 eur per hour).

reception staff very helpful, restaurant staff not so much. very clean .

directions to the hotel not accurate by sat nav. very expensive for what it provided, even had to pay extra for the spa. Average food for a lot of money. we went for half board and we’re presented with a very average menu with very little choice. They wanted to charge me €16for a small salad of lettuce and tomato.

Size of the hotel, staff super friendly and helpful, clean, comfy. Great facilities including spa, padel, swimming pool and wellness. A bit short in staff, despite that, every single staff member was above and beyond friendly, supportive, helpful and welcoming. Definitely a great choice!!

Restaurant menu is a bit limited. More variety especially including local dishes (cachopo, fabes, etc) would be a plus. A bit overpriced given there is no beach on a walkable distance.

Beautiful hotel with amazing facilities, but it is the staff that truly make this place wonderful.

Wow! What a hotel and what a lovely welcome I received when I checked in, muchas gracias to Sylvia, Nacho and the whole team. My room was perfect, big fluffy pillows, White Company toiletries, spacious bathroom and the box of jellies and handwritten note were very much appreciated. Breakfast was divine and once again the whole team of staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming. I also used the beautiful spa and outside pool, both were great! Honestly one of the nicest hotel stays I have ever experienced.

Leaving, but Victor was fabulous when I checked out and offered me a cold can of water for my car journey, it is these little touches that you remember. I will return soon.

Lovely stay, despite the little annoyances. I would recommend, but take note of the small issues.

Location is good. EV charging was really useful. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good breakfast. The SPA is good. Interesting variety of pools and sauna facilities. The bike shed was also very useful.

Nowhere to hang towels in our room such that they dried properly. Booking.com incorrectly described our room and the price differential was rather excessive compared to the other room we booked. There were various mix-ups with booking the SPA and Massage that were resolved, but it was a little frustrating. Dinner was a little expensive and the random nature of the way that drinks were served from the bar (sometimes with a measure, sometimes not, no confirmation of a single or a double measure) was frustrating.

We had black bits coming out of the extractor in the bathroom. This was not sorted out in the time we there! There was a dog barking every night until 12am and the he started again at 7am

Very friendly staff, well situated (with a car), plenty of parking. Great facilities, clean, quiet and spacious. I was accommodated for my special needs due to covid and keeping family safe (was travelling with two toddlers). Very happy!
