Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental offers a private pool, 3 bedrooms in the main house, and 3 bedrooms in the guest house. The home is about a 7-minute bike ride to the beach.
The main house offers both formal and informal living areas, each furnished with comfortable seating and TVs. The fully equipped, large kitchen offers everything needed to cook a meal while on vacation. Adjacent to the informal living area is a dining table that seats 8 and a sliding glass door to access the screened porch connecting to the deck. The first-floor master offers a king bed, access to the back deck, a vaulted ceiling, TV, his and her closets as well as its own private bathroom equipped with 2 sinks, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom features 2 twin beds, a TV, and a private bathroom with shower/tub combo. The second bedroom features a queen bed, a TV, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
The 2-story guest house features 3 bedrooms and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a sink and mini fridge as well as cabinets and counter space. One first-floor bedroom has a king bed with a private bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo. The second first-floor bedroom has a queen bed with private access to a hall bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, you will find a large space with 2 twin beds, 1 trundle bed, foosball table, TV, and an adorable reading nook.
Enjoy nature from the large back deck or screened porch equipped with a ceiling fan. Have fun swimming in the gorgeous private pool and dry off in the sun laying on one of the many lounge chairs located around the pool. The pool is approximately 34ft x 9-18ft.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

This was a wonderful home for our family of grown adult children and adult parents and friends. 2 separate houses meant that the older adults didn’t wake the younger too early, and the younger adults didn’t keep the older ones up past our bedtime! It made for a happy well-rested group…

We have a great time. Place was great.

We rented this for our larger family. It had plenty of room and the pool was super great to have. We were excited to find a ping pong table that was not listed. Kitchen was very nice size to cook. We were not pleased to find the pool needed cleaned and the mosquitoes were terrible when we first arrived. House was not as clean as some of the homes we’ve rented from Akers, found more bugs than we would have liked and the kitchen table had some broken/nearly broken chairs. We knew the distance from beach was further than we typically rented, but it was drivable and we biked in 10ish minutes. Akers was amazing at resolving the pool and mosquito issue. They had someone out to clean the pool within 24 hours, and he even came a second day and the pool looked amazing after than. They also had a man there to fog the home within 48 hours and our family and kids were able to enjoy the pool without being ate alive. All in all this house was nice and had lots of room to accommodate a large family.

It was a very nice house. The one thing that bothered everyone is that there was an ant problem in the house. They were ants in our bathroom, bedroom, the. Kitchen and by the front door. You need to get an exterminator to “treat” the house.
Outside of the critters, it a great house that suited our family quite well.
While the area was beautiful and well taken care of, it was too difficult to get to the beach area;. It took to much driving to get to a beach area.

My family and I overall thought the property itself was beautiful. House well laid out and decorated. Having two living spaces was a plus. The complaints we have are regarding the attention to detail. The pool was not very clean and a few of the lounge chairs were broken so we were unable to use. The guest house kitchenette sink did not drain properly as well as the king bedroom bathroom. That bathroom sink and shower needed some maintenance since those did not drain properly either. The tub faucet is not attached to the wall either. Also, seemed to be a bug problem within house. Especially in the guest house which had some fire ants in the king bed and cockroaches within bedroom. I do think the property needs to be sprayed for bugs. Overall we enjoyed the property but think these issues do need to be addressed.

Such a great floor plan for multi-generational travel. Everyone had a room they enjoyed for their age with plenty of bathrooms and amenities. Great family retreat.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Kiawah. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, all the bedrooms were well sized, the pool was nice and we enjoyed the deck.

Great house for a large family vacation. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the separate guest house worked better than expected.
But the house is very “tired” and needs a rehab badly. (All those large family gatherings take their toll). Also, too far from beach. Not walking distance and even too far for the 5 year olds to bike.

Overall stay was very nice. It’s always a plus to get away to nice quiet area without all the normal city hustle and bustle. Only complaint is for the cost of the house we expected things to be a lot cleaner. Just a few examples, hairs in the shower, built up dust and grim in the corners throughout the home, stained/worn furniture, and extra blankets not cleaned.

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful home. It was perfect for our growing family and a beautiful backdrop for my sisters wedding party to get ready in! We really enjoyed the VCay beach credit in which we got bikes with! That was a really nice bonus to this beautiful house. It is decorated absolutely beautifully and up to date. We enjoyed the outside area along with the pool. With that said we were not impressed with the cleanliness of this property. Upon arrival we discovered that the floors had not been swept or mopped. We called the company and they promised that someone would be out to clean the floors the next morning. When we went to get in bed that night my parents discovered that the master bedroom sheets had not been changed since the guest before. There was dirt, sand, and blood stains on the bed. The next morning the cleaning company arrived and they are the issue. They swept and tried to leave then once we asked them to mop they only mopped one room and then when we asked them to vacuum the rugs and carpet they only vacuumed one rug. We totally understand that things happen but we just were not happy with the cleanliness of this property. When we talked to management and by email we were never offered any type of refund or credit for the cleaning fees. We understand that this is not an issue Akers Ellis made but the cleaning company is not doing their job. Once we went to the store and got cleaning supplies ourselves we cleaned it to our liking and enjoyed the rest of the week in this beautiful home on a beautiful island!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was tidy when we arrived, but there are areas that certainly could use updating. The kitchen had plenty of flatware, etc. The fridge was not cold (the freezer worked fine) but they sent someone as soon as we called and it got fixed. The pantry had a broken shelf but overall it was adequate for a rental. The pictures were accurate to the posting. The hall to the garage had mildew all over it (certainly was not cleaned anytime recently. TV's work fine, as did the showers, etc. The pool was not heated, which was NOT mentioned in the listing. I think pools are generally considered to be heated, so if it can't be heated, I think that should be mentioned. The cabana was nice and slept three easily. Access was easy to everywhere we were going.

The property was as advertised in photos. The layout of the guest house was perfect for a second family. We were a little disappointed in the pool and had some cooler days and being not heated wasn’t appealing. The bike paths were great and access to beach close by (still a drive and short walk or bike). The kitchen was pretty equipped. We enjoyed eating on the screened in porch. The door down to the garage on the inside could use a cleaning. Overall I would reccomend this house!
