4.5
Nice clean place. Nice beds.
I prefer coffee in the room. There was no facial tissue in the room/bathroom. The tv channels were analog (very fuzzy).
4.5
Bright lights in parking/felt more secure for vehicles.
Good value

Location right off of 287 was nice and close to everything within the city. Their after midnight check-in policy was nice. By that I mean I didn't have to worry about not having a room when I checked in at almost 2AM.
Pillows were uncomfortable but thats all. There was nothing else that I did not like.
2.5
Breakfast was not much.
Located in a good area
The air conditioner did not cool very well.
The hallway smell so bad of cigarette smoke I had to hold my breath
Bed was very hard

Wasn’t much to look at. Walk in and walk out .
Location

there was only 1 door to get into the facility. I could get out an end door but could not use it to enter. very inconvenient
I didn’t realize that part of my floor a smoking floor. I would have preferred to be on a floor with NO smoking. The shower/tub was a corner - triangular shape and not full size a large person would not fit but it was ok for me, just not full size. Ice machines were only on first floor. I was on the 3rd floor.

Good value. Comfortable and clean
Heating unit cycled on and off and was noisy

*Chose this hotel because it offered Smoking Rooms (3 on the 3rd floor at end of hallway) and didn't want to have to go outside in below freezing temps*
Check In was easy and friendly. $20 pet deposit. Good location off the highway. Near major restaurants (Check out Whistle Stop Cafe or Hometown Cooking). Water pressure was good. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Elevator was efficient. Fridge/MW in room.
TV is analog (??) so many of the stations are very glitchy. Breakfast was choice of waffles, oatmeal or cereal. (But choices for fast food or sit down restaurants nearby are plentiful)

Very basic hotel. Not sure how they got their rating but this is not an 8.0 hotel. more like a 6.5.

Ambiance, location and staff knowledge. Breakfast was very good and they even have a wafflemaker in the shape of Texas. So fun and really good, too. First time in Decatur and felt at home. Even townspeople very friendly and helpful.
Well, it was a dark and foggy night and I was in a strange town. In December night comes early but I did want to eat. Food was close and happy to cuddle up in bed when I got back.

It was all good

I requested a nonsmoking room and they put me on the 3rd smoking floor. And the hallway smoke smell was overwhelming.

breakfast options very limited

It was a hotel in a convenient location for our travels. Had free breakfast and free parking. Price wasn't bad.
Bugs in the room, particularly over the bed... Staff was exceptionally rude when we said we'd like our money back and that we were leaving. Mr Patel then argued that because I used the bathroom while my wife looked things over that we shouldn't get our money back. He tossed the bed and claimed we used it in the 9 minutes we were in there. The pictures attached were taken 30 sec before we walked out.
Wouldn't recommend staying here, find somewhere else.
