Sit back, relax, and enjoy the unparalleled views from this Tahoe Donner vacation rental. With access to resort amenities like hot tubs, pools, and saunas (for a small fee), and set in a prime location, you may never want to leave.
A quick 13-mile drive puts you on the pristine slopes of the Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, or head down to the lake for some fun-in-the-sun water adventures just five miles away. During winter, we recommend using a 4x4 for safe access.
The rich, wood-beamed ceilings frame the large living area and add a traditional cabin style to the home. Cuddle up on the couch or over-size chairs while you find your favorite cable show on the flatscreen HDTV.
Turn on the gas fireplace, grab your popcorn and find the perfect movie when you log into your personal Netflix account or bring along a few DVDs to choose from. Turn everything off, break out the provided board games, and enjoy a laugh-filled evening. The private washer/dryer will help you stay on top of any laundry needs that may arise during your stay.
Inside, you'll find a fully loaded kitchen with custom granite counters and a gourmet gas range, perfect for the budding chef in your group.
This five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home can sleep up to 10 guests in comfort. The master bedroom boasts a soft queen-size bed and en suite bathroom, complete with luxurious soaking tub. Both the second and third bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and ample storage space.
In the fourth and fifth bedrooms, you'll have a set of twin-size beds, making these rooms the perfect spot for your younger guests to enjoy. This home can also be rented as a three-bedroom version that sleeps six.
Take the quick drive to the Sugar Bowl and treat yourself to a day of great downhill run and a challenging backcountry course to push even the best skiers in your group.
Staying close to home means that you'll be able to delve into a wide array of shared resort amenities. From tennis and a shuttle taking you to the Tahoe Donner Golf Course to rejuvenating hot tubs and saunas, you'll have everything you need.
When the weather is warm, take advantage of the shared dock and provided kayak to head out on Donner Lake to take in the sights from the crystal clear waters.
Fill your next mountain escape with alpine adventures and relaxation at this North Lake Tahoe vacation rental.

Other than only having access to the Communist NEWS Network (CNN) on most of the TV's it was fine.
Nice but would find a different place for my next stay.

Decent property, horrible property management
We arrived after 8 hours of driving in a blizzard only to find the driveway full of snow to the point we could not park the car there..So we had to stop on a one way road praying no car will pass by while we unloaded the car. And this was only the beginning. What was suppose to be a relaxing weekend, turned into a nightmare. The management made sure the driveway was plowed that night, but they didn't make sure the garage door can be opened, so we could not park all three cars on the driveway. One of us had to go and park 1 mile or so from there, with all the complications that followed. There was no detergent, and we could not wash anything, the dish washer was so crappy that we needed to wash all the dishes again, by hand, after spending a day on the slopes. Anyway, I do not recommend this property, which in itself is decent and comfortable but it seems that the property management is so poor that makes it not worthy to stay here where there are so many other properties out there.

Overall a nice stay
Pros: The place was furnished nicely. It was large and spacious. The quality of the beds was good. The view was beautiful. The neighbors were welcoming. It felt like a very safe neighborhood. It was close to ski resorts and had a nice walking trail close by. The young kids sled right outside of the house on a small hill and built a snowman. The lodge had great food and wonderful customer service.Safeway grocery store nearby. Cute bakeries and coffee shops near by.
The spa and its amenities were awesome. The pool outside was warm enough to swim in despite the snow. The wet and dry sauna was nice! Multiple Jacuzzis. Massage service impeccable.
Cons:Balancing the temperature throughout the house was a challenge. The master bedroom/bathroom upstairs was startling cold despite other parts of the house being warm. Bring warm PJs. Plan to live out of your suite case as the closets and drawers are locked in the master. If you have multiple people in the house with you plan on spacing out your showers because the hot water heater (despite being turned up) couldn't accommodate back to back 10 to 15 minute showers.

Great place for a family
We loved this accommodation. We are a family of five plus two grandparents. The house was spacious, clean, and conveniently located. The HOA amenities were FANTASTIC!

Family Friendly Rental
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the house. The Tahoe/Donner HOA was a HUGE benifit giving us access to private pools, a private section of beach at Donner Lake, workout classes etc. Overall a very family-friendly way to go.

Great, large, kid friendly cabin
My family had a wonderful visit. The view from the big cabin windows was fantastic! The house was clean and easy to open at the start of our trip (heat already set, outside lights on) and close at the end our trip. Garage access and parking was key. I would definitely recommend this cabin and stay again

Really nice property!
Except the internet was not working, everything else are great!

Great place for large group
Great please for large group but if I rent again I will have to make sure I bring a lot of my own kitchen things- missing sal and pepper, I brought my own wine glasses and champagne glasses and decided to leave them there so there was some for the next renters. There were no ziplock bags, foil, or seasonings to cook with. Usually a rental has those things - besides that the place was perfect and clean.

Elegant ?
Your average. Was clean and the property manager was very nice and was helpful...where she could. Upstairs fireplace inoperable. Downstairs TV inoperable. I would suggest the owners either replace the carpets or remove the multiple spots.

Beautiful Home in Tahoe Donner
We loved this home and our experience renting with Vacasa. Great location and the home was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and even a garage to park in to keep the car out of the snow. We'll be back!

Excellent cabin!
We loved our stay here from July 22-24-2016.
Very beautiful cabin. The only thing we needed was a BBQ grill.
