Dancing Pines is a spacious property with wonderful Black Hills views from the large deck. Within 1 mile to the lodge at Ski Mystic Deer Mountain you can be skiing and snowboarding on some wonderful terrain and only 0.4 miles from Highway 85 running to Lead/Deadwood/Sturgis and Cheyenne Crossing. 4 miles from the cabin, you can be cruising through Spearfish Canyon enjoying the wonderful waterfalls and canyon walls on your way to Spearfish. Within a 45 minute drive you can be in the central Hills enjoying Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Highway and more!
The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a hot tub on the backyard patio covered by the spacious deck. You'll get a garage for two vehicles, and parking for your trailers with your ATV's and snowmobiles.
Inside, you'll enjoy the wonderful wood craftsmanship giving you the cabin feeling of living in the Black Hills! It needs to be known there is no AC at this property. We would have not stayed here had we known this information. We had exceptionally hot weather and it was uncomfortably warm the first day. This property will be perfect during all other seasons, so we still recommend.

Found perfect place for hiking getaway. Property was close to beautiful trails and the view from deck was beautiful. House was well equipped for making a great meal after day of hiking. Hot tub was a pleasure to soak after our hikes as well. Would recommend to anyone who loves natural beauty.

Dancing pines is absolutely stunning and was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 kiddos ages 1-9. Hot tubbing while overlooking the amazing black hills scenery was magical. Buddi and team were fabulous to work with and extremely responsive. We messed up and booked for a day shorter than we had planned for and the team bent over backwards to help accommodate us. The location was the perfect location for all the activities we planned. We would highly recommend this property.

Overall, the cabin was beautiful. However, when we got there, there was no hand soap, dish soap and minimal garbage bags and it was not disclosed to us that there was no air conditioning in the house. We wanted to use the hot tub and wanted to make sure it was chemically treated and there were no test strips anywhere in the house. We did reach out to the owner and they did respond within a reasonable amount of time. They did not provide test strips but told us that the hot tub was treated prior to our check-in and that it was safe to use. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but wish the unit was stocked better. We did run out of toilet paper the last day we were there as well. I would stay again if I knew the place would be better stocked with necessities. For the price we pay to rent the unit, I feel things like soap, garbage bags, and toilet paper should be stocked up.

The hill going up to the cabin should have had gravel on it. Our 30 ft trailer and pickup slid back and hit a retainer wall and damaged it. A good samaritan that lived nearby helped us out. When we left, the trip back down that same hill was no better. The cabin was very nice and we liked the use of the garage. The shower head upstairs was broke and the one downstairs dripped. The stools by the island are too tall for the island. Just little things that needed attention.

Perfectly located poorly marketed
This is a beautiful home, everything was very clean inside, and it was perfectly located for the places we wanted to go. I would not recommend for anyone coming with more then one trailer, I was very clear and even sent an extra message about parking at least a 44ft trailer. Upon arrival it was very clear it would not fit along with all the other families vehicles, I tried contacting Budi but she was not around and had bad service in spearfish, however she could text but she was not understanding what I was asking so we put our trailer in at an angle, one or families had to park in a lot across the road, he left a note for the owner to contact him, he was willing to pay to park there since the rental wouldn't fit him. He was then threatened to be towed by Budi, who doesn't own the property he was parked at, he was able to move down to the wonderful resort at the bottom of the hill. All of these things could have been easily avoided with better communication, I was never able to personally talk to the host which would have been helpful. I would also say that the outside is poorly cared for as the are mounds of dirt and rocks, that are not landscaping. I would recommend that the property puts out a manual of rules and restrictions, while we recieved one through email, sometimes things get lost and misplaced and to alleviate any information get missed by any of the guests.
I know I will get a sharp response from the host and that is fine I just hope that maybe you will market your property properly and work on your communication the day of check in .

No Air Conditioning
We came to this location on motorcycle’s and arrived on August 1. As you can imagine, it was sunny and quite warm. When we entered the unit, it was 82° inside. After the sun went down, we were able to get the temperature down to 77°, but not comfortable to sleep in. Thankfully SD has no humidity so we could get it cooled down each night.

Perfect family cabin
My husband and I, along with our 6 kids (ages 1 - 11 years) stayed here for 3 nights. The property was easy to find, very clean, and had more than enough space for the entire family to spread out and enjoy. Communication with the Property Manager was great. Budi was extremely prompt when I had questions regarding booking the property. During our stay, we traveled to Spearfish, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil’s Tower, and Custer State Park.

The house was amazing in a nice and quiet area.
Wonderful stay, beautiful house!! The only thing missing was AC ...when we stayed it was 90-100+ degrees for 5 days and the property does not have AC or WI-FI.....it was not listed as an amenity but the week we were there it would have been nice to have ☺️....it did cool down at night though...Cabin was very clean, spacious,(we had 9 people) well stocked with everything you need for cooking (storage containers, pots, pan, crockpot, utensils etc). Would definitely stay again! BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!

Family Vacation
This was a great property. The property manager Budi was awesome! The home was beautiful and in a great location. There are neighbors, but with all the trees you still felt very secluded. We spent a lot of time out on the deck enjoying the views and wildlife. This is a great property to enjoy the outdoors and family time, but is still very close to a lot of tourist attractions. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Very nice property, would stay again!
This property smelled very clean, floors could have been cleaner otherwise was nice. Amenities were great, beds were very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. We even saw a couple of deer and turkeys in the yard during our stay. Neighborhood was quiet. Location was good, within an hour to 1.5 hours or less to most attractions and lots of scenic routes to take on the way. We stayed there with young children and overall very family friendly, would have been nice if there was a baby gate for the stairs but we managed. Was nice to have washer and dryer on site and the kitchen had ever we needed and then some! The property manager was very easy to communicate with, was very responsive and made the process very easy. Would recommend this property and would be happy to return in the future.
