The house and location were perfect. I would say they had thought of nearly everything. We had a great time - used the BBQ hut and the hot tub. Had some lovely walks on the beach - we were very lucky with the weather for November - no coats needed! Communication with the owner was great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house to anybody wanting a large get together in a beautiful place!! Thank you.

We have stayed at trefonen house 3 times now. We have a big extended family so the property and fabulous garden and location is perfect! We have celebrated party occasions each time. Jane is brilliant to communicate with and it’s all just so easy! We love it here and I hope we’ll be bac soon. Thankyou again 😀

Great location and comfortable, clean house. Children enjoyed garden and playground (despite Storm Eunice!) with access to beach. Secure garden for the dog. Great views, hot tub and barbecue hut .Kitchen well equipped but ovens struggled to come up to heat to feed 15 people! Kitchen cupboard doors need attention.
Nearby, Café Ace near Valley, White Eagle inn Rhoscolyn and Sea Shanty café Trearddur Bay excellent - good food and all very welcoming to families and dogs.

It was my mine and my wife's 70th birthday celebration and we shared it with our large extended family. Blown away with the views and the peace and quiet, well it was peaceful when we had the place to ourselves for one night. Children had great time but now wanting hot tubs, in ground trampoline and bar-b-que hut! An amazing location with views to die for. Loved everything. Kids enjoyed the direct beach access and the secure garden in which to let off steam. After an exhausting day of activity it was great to simply relax and watch the sun go down. The house has everything you could ask for. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location, wonderful views, we didn't want to leave! Lots of lovely walks nearby and plenty of shops within a few minutes drive. Barbecue hut is amazing, and the playground was well utilised. by the children. There is plenty of space outside for games and direct access to the beach is a real treat. The kitchen has everything that you need and there is room for everybody to sit around the table together. Highly recommended for larger families or groups.

Went for my husbands 60th birthday all the family stayed from age 5 to 85, everybody had a great time with plenty to do from the children's play area, the hot tub and a garden the size of a football pitch with kept the boys happy ( big and small) playing football and right on the beach for nice long walks, and the house is beautiful with everything and more that you could ever need, and the views are beautiful.no one wanted to leave. I would recommend it 100%, and thank you to Jane who helped from day one with any questions I had, my husband said it was his best birthday yet.

Trefonen House is a truly wonderful property that offers great accommodation and facilities. The main rooms in the house are large and bright, the kitchen has everything needed and the bedrooms are all very comfortable. As a party of 14 including 6 children varying in age from 2 to 10 years, all were catered for in what was provided. For adults there is the Hot Tub which was a great hit together with the BBQ Hut. For children there are acres of space to run around in as well as access to the beach (under supervision) where the rock pools provided hours of interest. There is also the play area for the younger children. We were very lucky for the 4/5 days we were there in having hot weather leading to mainly outdoor living but also enjoyed some of the local attractions and scenery. We all rated the property very highly and would thoroughly recommend it as a premier choice for a large family get-together.

We stayed here on "Familymoon" with our five teenagers, 3 dogs and lots of extended family and friends coming and going. Everyone had a fabulous time. There is enough space that you are not tripping over everyone and can have space if you need it, but plenty of opportunities for big get togethers such as the barbecue hut (outstanding) and the huge outdoor space as well as the huge living areas. On the practical side there is everything you need for large numbers and enough tv's to keep everyone entertained. There are a couple of well stocked shops just a couple of minutes drive away and a large supermarket not too much further. Jane responded to text enquiries quickly or called when necessary. We would definitely love to go back again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. All the children absolutely loved the freedom to run around. Very secure so we were all able to relax.
Well equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms. The barbecue hut is amazing. Will definitely be returning

Lovely property with space for our party of 17. Direct access to the beach to allow the younger members to burn off energy whilst giving time for us 'oldies' to catch up over a glass of wine (or two); Lovely sunset every evening and would recommend for a large family gathering such as ours.
Great outdoor and indoor space and although we were a large party we were never 'tripping over' each other. The number of en-suite bath/shower rooms was also a massive bonus.
A really good weekend had by all, highly recommended.

The spectacular views, garden, beach access and easy walking make this a great getaway place for gatherings and family holidays. The accommodation is spacious and the varying arrangements of beds make it easy for big groups. The kitchen dining room is excellent and very well equipped. The sitting room also suits a large number of people.
While we were there there was a problem with the heating which was dealt with promptly, extra wood for the fire provided in the meantime.
A second visit for me: one for an international family reunion, the second a group of friends, well suited for both.

Lovely house , well furnished with everything we needed including a wii and DVD’s all down to the local take away menus ,beautiful quiet peaceful location , we had a adult only 50th party and used the bbq hut , it was fantastic , lots of room to spend the majority of the evening in there and it even comes with cozy blankets if needed. The bedrooms are all lovely and are a lot larger than they look on the internet . The living room/ kitchen is well set out to accommodate large groups. X

Perfect holiday property for all age groups. The property has been done to a high spec and there is nothing lacking and plenty of room to find your own space if you want it. Great location and loved having the beach on the doorstep. BBQ hut and hot tub were a big hit and honestly cannot think of anything else that you would want or need!
