Reasonable value, excellent location in Kohimarama

Welcome on arrival was good. The gent came and made the third bed up as it wasn't done prior to arrival. He was very helpful in ensuring we excellent parking just outside the room

Worst weekend away

Social housing on bottom floor. They would come at all hours of nite in cars. Fighting amongst themselves and owner had to sort this out. Not value for money,Shower didn’t work was more like a hose If the owners read this You are so greedy, chose Social housing or guests (ie one or other) not both We had clothes in a cupboard, drawers smelt like weed, heaters didn’t work and we asked for extra blankets and were brought blood stained ones. This place is a NO go zone peeps. They should have given us part of a refund. DONT stay here

Staff friendly. Was handy location for what we Needed

Beds are rock hard, not comfy at all. Walls are thin. MSD clients living on site and argue late at night, doors slamming cars coming and going. Sofa is not comfy, it's more of a chair. So couldn't sit and relax.

Would not recommend

The big space and that both heaters worked.

The fact that it was a base for emergency accommodation. There were arguments twice in one night with lots of slamming doors, screaming and swearing. Toilet and bathroom smelled of stale urine. The bed was hard, and there were not enough blanets, so I had to leave the heaters on all night. Windows did not shut properly so when the wind blew, it whistled through the gaps, made lots of noise - could not get to sleep. Not a pleasant place to stay.

Owners/front staff were nice, clean and tidy.

If you are going to house tenants who are clearly requiring emergency housing you should be stating this on your website. It was disconcerting to drive in to see this, and be unsure as to how the night would play out. Be honest who the majority of your in-house guests are so that we can make an informed decision.

Very clean and affordable

Very clean and tidy . We had a bedroom with separate living area and kitchenette . We loved the view of sky tower far away from our window .

Perfect location for where we needed & easy access to St Helier's Bay, Mission Bay & town. Staff were superb, friendly & very helpful. Unit had everything we wanted, was very clean, the shower was first class & the bed was fabulous. The view over fields & horse paddocks on both sides was unexpected & pleasant.

Our room was noisy until quite late with footstep from adjacent unit being enough to keep us awake. The bathroom was very well appointed & clean but a little on the small side.

Spacious, friendly staff, but noisy

Very helpful staff, large spacious room, and located conveniently near to my friends (but this is not a central location if a tourist).

The floor and bathroom were dirty in some areas and noise could be heard very clearly through the walls which was disturbing. There was no lamp next to the bed meaning I had to feel my way there in the dark, and there was no light near the front door, so when I arrived in the dark I had to use my phone to locate it across the room.

suited us for 1 night but wouldn’t go back.

nothing about the property,a bit run down.Only the location suited for our stay.Wouldn’t stay again unless I had to.

Hot water tap in kitchen didn’t work at all,couldn’t get any water to come out.Toilet seat floated all over the place,the plastic wing nuts under the toilet bowl needed tightening but this was obviously too much for the managers.

Looks are deceiving 😣

Location was ok. Room looked nice when you open the door & looked around before going in then.......

Booked for 3 people - sofa bed not made. When we opened it up it was filthy. Needs to be thrown out. No mattress on it either. Had to ask for bedding, which got delivered to room to make ourselves. Duvet was stained & smelt bad. Only 2 towels in room. Lucky we took our own. Didn’t get replaced next day. No bath mat, flannels or tea towels. Cupboard under basin in bathroom was leaking. Shower had orange mould in grout, rusty earring in corner of shower. Floors were all sticky, especially in kitchen are like they hadn’t been washed properly. There was still food on the floor that had been swept into the corner by fridge. No milk provided like other motels. Kettle was disgusting. We were too scared to eat off anything & the room smelt like curry all weekend. Couldn’t open kitchen blind because it looked straight into neighbouring properties windows. If the managers cared about keeping their business, they need to look after paying customers better & run it like a proper motel. The motel is also used for emergency housing accomodation. Was really looking forward to staying here, but really disappointed overall.

Disappointing

The room was large

Bathroom window latch to the outside was broken and simply taped on (security risk for sure) fold out sofa bed was not able to be slept on despite us enquiring about the sofa bed prior to our stay, after a second discussion when we got there about it we were brought a roll in bed for the second night, limited things eg only one glass in the kitchen/no coat hangers, not enough towels provided for 2 people, no servicing / top up of little milk etc. A phone call in the day asking if we aren't coming back because we had left the key card - we hadn't, rather whoever was running it obviously didn't know what was going on. Seemed really subpar accommodation - a shame .

The beds were hard not soft at all. There folder that’s has the information about the place needs updating. Also it said in the book our rooms would get serviced but that didn’t happen I had to ring the on-site manger for more towels at 6pm at night as no one was in the office all day.
