St Andrews accommodation is Expensive

The garden aspect. Clean comfortable beds.

Son's bedroom had no windows and was off our bedroom. No privacy as he had to pass through the room to use the bathroom. Ceiling height on stairs was tricky for our tall family. Not easy to park out the front, so don't bring a car.

We were able to relax, enjoyed a delicious breakfast to start our day and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Good ambience, original features, garden outlook with outdoor seating are and layout of the junior suite worked for our party. And great breakfast options and set up so well in the garden room, very serene.

It was a quaint, cozy comfortable hotel.

The staff were excellent and available for anything we needed. The location is 2 minutes from city centre and a 20 minute walk to StAndrews golf course.

Parking was an issue. The free spots are full all day by university staff.

Easy, pleasant accommodations.

The breakfast was wonderful everyday with multiple tasty choices available. The hotel location was perfect and convenient to everything we wanted to do in St. Andrews. Everything was an easy walk.

Excellent location! Wonderful staff! Clean well appointed rooms! Perfect breakfast!

The property was very central in St Andrews. This is the second time we have stayed. Very clean and always has friendly staff. Breakfast is very nicely done and would recommend it.

Our room was not as big as expected for the price we paid. Checking the same room rates for following nights was cheaper.

Wanted to love it, however it was not that great.

The staff was very helpful and approachable. Good breakfast. Super location.

I got a room that was awfully smelly to the point you were not able to stay there for more than a few minutes. I asked for another room and very helpful lady at the reception gave me keys to the alternative room. Not sure if that's the standard but water in the shower was either ice cold or boiling hot, nothing in between and the pressure in the shower was close to zero.

Location and value for money cannot be argued with.

I could hear every footstep from next door which wasn't great. I stayed on the ground floor behind the reception desk

Great location. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfty bed. Good shower.

Our room was in the basement so a little dark but it was nice having the garden outside.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and worked really hard. The hotel was really clean. The breakfasts were great - the chef deserves a special mention. Great location.

There wasn't a lot of room in the shower room to put toilet bags etc. The roller blind on the window was detached from its chain and had to be opened and closed manually - a bit awkward.

Brilliant hotel with fantastic breakfast

Breakfast was fantastic, very yummy and cooked to order. Room was great for what we needed. Perfect location as was attending a wedding across the the uni campus.

Room was a little small but as we were only staying for one night and were only sleeping in the room it didn't matter too much.

second time I have stayed here The first time I had an excellent room. This time the room was small (no issue there - it was cheap) but also very, very noisy with the sound of plumbing and other guests moving around

noise. from very early morning the sound of plumbing from it seemed every other room

A wonderful night away with my daughter in a very welcoming and comfortable hotel.

The receptionist was great, very helpful and informative. The breakfast was delicious and the location was superb for our needs.
