Great place to stay

Clean and comfortable with great facilities. Nice restaurant and bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking just across the road.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean & comfy room and a breakfast to ‘die for’😊

From booking in to checking out the hotel staff were welcoming, polite and helpful The room was clean and the beds comfy The breakfast was first class The catering staff were so attentive and helpful The scrambled eggs were out of this world 😊and the choice was really good The vegetarian sausage was the best our party had tasted

Comfortable Stay

Comfortable stay, we were certainly glad of the air conditioning during the recent heatwave.

Room was tired, especially bathroom which was in need of some refurbishment

Great restaurant, hotel needs some improvements.

Restaurant service was great, coped very well with our large group and food orders was delivered swiftly.

Hairdryer in bedroom was terrible, didn’t dry my hair at all. Booked a number of double rooms but received various amounts of single beds in each room. Temperature in each room was absolutely freezing to walk into, did warm up whilst we was at dinner but maybe needs to be set warmer initially.

Very small car park. Have to park over the road in the none secure carpark (although this is cheaper)

AC wasnt working in the room,and that s not the first time when theh had this issue.also the staff (one old lady) was very rude and unpolite,bad mannered and so on.

Booking.com terrible communication with hotel

This is feedback for Booking.com and your communication with the hotel rather than hotel itself. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 1 child. But on arrival, we found my daughter's sofa bed not made up and only 2 towels in the room. When we asked for the bed to be made up we were told that Booking.com had only advised the room was for 2 visitors and because no housekeeping staff were on duty that they couldn't guarantee that they would be able to make up the bed. What is that all about? This is your fault, not the hotel's, though not having housekeeping staff on duty is poor in itself. In the end, we did get the bed made up, but we never got that third towel. Any explanation from you on this poor communication of room requirements? Pretty basic stuff I would have thought. Makes me want to return to Hotels.com, who I've never had a problem with.

Superb

The staff were excellent and allowed us to check in early which was very helpful.

Booing sent me a review request on the morning of my stay which was very worrying as it implied that I should have stayed the night before!

Wasn’t that good because I got injured

It was quiet and peaceful

I had a towel rail fall on to me and cut my arm and the shower wasn’t working properly so I had to go to a friends to have a shower

Confortable but unfriendly receptionist.

The room was spacious and clean. The food was ok in the restaurant.

The receptionist wasn’t friendly. The fact that they wouldnt take £50 notes as payment was inconvenient. Only 1 lift working

Very comfortable.

We wanted, and got an early check in, 10am. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed for our short stay.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Comfortable, clean hotel with good food at a very good price

The breakfast and evening meal were high quality. Restaurant staff excellent. The bedroom was large, very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend and would use again when in the area.

Car parking, but that is not the fault of the staff.
