Produkt gut, Rezeption am Anreisetag das Gegenteil

517 war richtig gut, jedoch folgende Punkte: keine Verdunkelungsvorhänge, keine Sessel auf der Terasse, Klima kann man nicht abschalten

Anreise war Katastrophe. Wir sind um 18h angereist, das Zimmer war nicht fertig. Der Herr an der Rezeption sagte, dass es 10 min dauert, bis das Zimmer fertig ist. Wir warteten in der Lobby. Um 18.30 h fragte ich wieder nach, aber das Zimmer war immer noch nicht fertig. Man sagte uns dann, dass wir weitere 30 min. warten müssen, also bis 19 h, bis ein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie verfügbar ist. Info,einer Dame an der Rezeption: das Zimmer ist nicht fertig, weil die Polizei Ihre Zimmer erst um 11 h vormittags verlassen hat und daher einige Zimmer noch nicht fertig sind. Wir sollen uns bei der Polizei beschweren!!!! Nun, Abreise ist bis 12 h Mittags angegeben und daher kann die Polizei um 11 h das Zimmer räumen. Warum wir uns da bei der Polizei beschweren sollen, verstehen wir nicht. Des weiteren war 7 h Zeit, bis zu unserer Ankunft das Zimmer sauber zu machen!!!! Des weiteren haben wir den Meldeschein am Vortag ausgefüllt mit Telefonnummer etc. Man kann uns immer telefonisch erreichen, wenn mit dem Zimmer irgendetwas nicht passt. Diese Möglichkeit wurde nicht genutzt. Wir fanden das Ausfüllen des Meldescheins im voraus sehr gut, aber wenn dann die Daten nicht benützt werden, relativiert sich das wieder. Wir sind dann kurz nach 18.30 h Essen gegangen (wir wind in 10 h von Wien nach Köln mit dem Auto gefahren). Als wir dann um ca. 20.30 h an der Rezeption gekommen sind, war die erste Frage: Ja wo seid ihr denn! - die Dame redet leider in einem Ton, der nicht gastfreundlich ist und noch dazu mit vollem Mund. Trotz sichtbarem Stess ist das nicht in Ordnung. Koordination Rezeption mit Housekeeping hat wohl nicht funktioniert..... Rezeption: keine Namensschilder, keine Begrüssung von der Dame an der Rezeption, keine Entschuldigung im Namen des Hotels. Sehr schade das mit der Rezeption, ansonsten waren wir wirklich zufrieden. Overpriced and underwhelming is the best way to describe this hotel

Location The Receptionist (can’t remember her name) saved this from a 1 rating

Fitness centre only had 4 cardio pieces of equipment. Air conditioning did not work. €17 for breakfast was ridiculous Cleaning of rooms was useless We were there 5 nights and the linen was never changed

Für eine Nacht okay

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und komfortabel.

Flecken an den Wänden, die Bettwäsche war leicht dreckig. Das Personal unten an der Rezeption empfanden wir als nicht sehr zuvorkommend und kundenfreundlich.

Sehr nettes und stets hilfsbereites Personal.

Im Zimmer gab es einige Stellen an denen nachgebessert werden sollte z.B. kaputtes Licht in der Dusche / Wanne, lose Fliesen an der Verkleidung der Badewanne oder beim lockeren Fenstergriff.

Der Aufenthalts war sehr gut,

Bequemes Bett, aufgeräumtes Zimmer, bequemes Bett und sauberes Bad. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Das Frühstück war gut und sehr vielfältig.

Eine Dusche wäre für mich besser.

price for what you get during Gamescom was very good The front desk was very nice and polite

cleaning was very poor, a lot of dust on the furniture the coffee/tea was not replaced once for 6 days so quickly run out of it ( 2 coffees )

Enjoyable stay. Lots to do

It was a last minute choice. I know feel I would book close to city centre. Room was very nice & clean & modern

Nearly everyday I had to go to reception & ask for tea bags, sugar & milk. One day we didn’t have cups, the next day no toilet rolls. This was very annoying.

the place is far from the center, to travel to the center you need to go to Bus and travel to metro as I expected a little differently from Plaza, that the beds would be comfortable

Madhyan was Extremely helpful

Madhyan the receptionist was extremely helpful and made sure I was comfortable as a first time visitor to Germany. He took the time to explain the area and recommended some places to visit in the town.

the room was spacious and neat, a bit far from public transportation

Spacious and clean room friendly receptionist during check-in and when leaving nice and tidy entry hall parking space was available there is a restaurant nearby

the 3rd bed could be better (but the receptionist did his best. And we appreciate his effort) the bed for a couple were 2 separate beds, not practical The hotel is not really close to public transportation the surroundings were not really pleasant to walk around, especially in the evening

Had a pleasant stay

Firstly, the staff were polite and friendly, patiently dealing with any query I had. It might be in their job description but I must highlight that they were very pleasant to interact with. Walking distance from local shops and amenities, and the prices are reasonable since the location is outside the centre. With the number of police cars around, I assumed there is a police station nearby so very secure location. Located along a main road but not busy and quiet for the most part.

I guess the AC and fridge. Outdoor temperature at 34°C on average so I was expecting the fridge and AC to be cooler but the staff couldn't do anything about it ie I had the AC at -3° but unsure if it was Fahrenheit or Celsius because the room was still very warm.

Incompetent Staff

The air conditioner in the property wasn't working, and the hotel staff did not feel obliged to inform that at the time of check-in or prior to that. It was only when I had to check with them a few hours later is when they came clean. And their solution was to just simply open the windows.

the room was big with a nice balcony

only after the check-in I was informed that the aircondition is not working in this hotel since several months. in my room there was a temperature of 30 degrees…. even though I opened the windows the temperature was nix decreasing. I could not sleep at all and was the whole week so tired that my customers asked me if I am ok. I am asking why the hotel did not inform upfront the customers that the air con is not working???

horrible stay, last time staying here

room itself was spacious

ordered queen size bed, got 2 singles safe was not working people could walk in with cards from reception for wrong room. occupied rooms were being given to 2 different guests seeing people sleep and more in the room fridgedoor was broken, airco was broken personel was horrible. I’m never going back
