About this house rental
As of Summer 2024 we have 264, 5-star reviews out of 266 total!!! There is a reason :) This 2,000 sq. ft. home, built by the owners in 2016, is very private yet close to it all. The common areas are spacious and open . . . ideal for sharing time together and relaxing. The living room area has very comfortable seating, a gas fireplace and TV. The wood dining table is BIG, and includes 8 chairs. The kitchen has a large island with "breakfast bar" seating, clean stainless steel appliances and white cabinets filled with a wide range of cooking supplies, utensils, etc.. We outfitted the bedrooms with super comfortable mattresses and soft cotton and micro-fiber sheets, along with quality dressers and nightstands. The bathrooms, with granite vanity countertops, stay sparkling clean! We created a "hang-out" room in the upper level (with 50" flat screen TV). For your outdoor time we fenced in the back yard where we have a patio, table and chairs, gas grill and a beautiful fire pit surrounded by boulders and landscaping. It's just one of those places that feels good both inside and out, and we'd love you stay with us!
Centrally located, the home is just 4 miles to downtown Asheville, 2 miles to the Biltmore Estate and Village. Shopping, groceries and multiple restaurants are within 2 miles and less than 2 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, I-240 and I-40. Everything around Asheville is quick and easy from our location!
Book our home and you will see why our guests' ratings have put us in the TOP 1% most highly rated short-term rentals in Asheville.

We lived in Asheville 13 years ago and were ready to come back for a visit. This home was the perfect location for us to visit the Asheville area that we love so much. It is a central location and easy to access.
The home is well furnished and so comfortable. There is plenty of room and the beds and couches are so nice.
We loved this home. The host family was prompt and so accommodating. We highly recommend this home

We enjoyed a great family vacation in this comfortable home in a great location. We were close to adventures at the Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, and French Broad River. We were able to enjoy healthy, home cooked/grilled meals everyday and do our dirty laundry after our outdoor adventures. It was perfect for us! Quiet, comfortable, spacious, and convenient!

Very clean and organized, from the booking process to the checking in and the property itself. Highly recommend.

Big, new, comfortable home! Excellent layout, big spaces for gathering in the kitchen, dining room, living room and upstairs game room - with plenty of privacy between bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and easy access to laundry closet. The fire pit outside is perfect for s'mores at night or coffee in the morning. Tucked away in a sweet, quiet neighborhood but only 10 - 20 minutes from popular spots in Asheville. Highly recommend for big families or couples!

We had such a lovely stay in Asheville. The house was clean, well cared for and we were amazed at how amazingly comfortable the mattresses were. Only thing missing was a hot tub!

Great property & location, clean, easy check-in, check-out instructions. I would recommend (but not for a large group, unless you don't mind sharing 2 bathrooms) I will definitely return to this property in future if I have another visit to Asheville!

We stayed here for a sisters trip. The home was perfect for us. It was in a nice neighborhood, close to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. We could not be happier with this home!

Property was perfect for our party of 5(ended up as 4) second half of our group rented on same street. Was perfect for our long weekend as home base to enjoy Asheville and the Brevard/DuPont Area. Owner was extremely communicative as we had a little reservation hiccup that was handled with grace and a quick return call to help locate the fuse box. Linens Kitchen etc were all well appointed. Back yard fire pit was nice space to chill in the evenings. Only feedback would be to upgrade the 2nd bath showerhead and window dressings might make some guest more comfortable. Thank You to the owners - we'll likely return!

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville and Dave's beautiful home was the cherry on top. Awesome living space, comfortable beds and neat landscaping. We really enjoyed the fire pit on a couple of chilly nights. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Asheville!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely clean and spacious home! Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, puzzles and games, and convenient location to all Asheville has to offer made our trip exceptional. Very quiet location in a nice neighborhood. Several other reviews mentioned the lack of a bathroom upstairs and if you are traveling with all adults, that may be an issue.
We would highly recommend this home!

From the moment I reserved the house until we left, everything was amazing.

The house was perfect for 6 friends who wanted a weekend getaway to see Biltmore and to spend time together. The house was perfect- clean, spacious, quiet neighborhood. The only thing that I might suggest is to have a light source to highlight the sidewalk to the front door, which is made with stepping stones and uneven, and could be a tripping hazard especially after dark. We definitely had the best time and hope to come back.

We had an adult group of 8 and it was great for us. Convenient location to Asheville sights. Highly recommend you check it out if you have a gang to house in a beautiful town and dwelling.

Great house in a great location. Listing is very accurate. Exceptionally clean! This is a perfect choice in Asheville.
A few in my party were concerned about the lack of window treatments in the main living area (as others have stated) this may be a concern to some but would not keep us from staying again. Very safe neighborhood.
Overall excellent property and great communication with host.

A very nice property for all ages. Large open area downstairs for everyone to be together. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Even got ice cream from the ice cream truck.

We were in Asheville for 10 days to visit family. The house was very clean and had lots of space. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and leafy. For those who like to cook at home, the pot selection might be limited, but we made it work and the grill was perfect. The only con is that due to the design of the house, it doesn’t get tons of light.

This house was great. We had 8 adults staying the week and there was plenty of room. It was so close to all the shops in Asheville and to Highland Brewery, where our daughter had her wedding. Thanks!!

The VRBO owners were excellent communicators. They responded to questions and concerns very promptly. The home was spotless. We had very comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and a very well supplied kitchen. We loved the location. It was so close to everything. We would definitely rent this home again.

We don't get a chance to spend large blocks of time together, so we booked "The Nest" for a week over Memorial Day. It was wonderful. A quiet, safe neighborhood, well located for getting around. The house was very clean and spacious. The large dining table was used for everything from board games to coloring and conversations, to fly tying and, of course, meals. Thank you, Dave and Elyse! We'll be back.

Several issues with property for older guests. Outside steps and walkways are uneven stones & no handrail. Couch seats are too low and we all had difficulty standing up. No upstairs potty and we all need potty during the night. 3 out of 4 have no experience with streaming TV. Property was spotless and had plenty of supplies.

This house was exactly what we were looking for to spend a weekend meeting up with my sister, brother and sister in law. It was very convenient to Biltmore, Grove Park and downtown. The living space was open and large enough that we could all be together whether cooking, eating or just visiting. We would definitely recommend this property.

8 of us stayed for a long weekend. The house was perfect for our needs - convenient location, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed exploring the outdoors during the day and chatting in the living room in front of the fire in the evening. We slept two per bedroom and it was nice to have the pullout sofa as an additional option (although we didn't use it). The host was very quick to respond to questions prior to our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Really appreciated the layout of this home, attention to detail. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and the dining area was excellent for evening board games.
~10 minutes to downtown Asheville and convenient for day hikes. Appreciated the thoughtful amenities - including the kleenex boxes during allergy season and the kindling for the backyard fire pit. Thank you to the hosts of this property. We'll definitely stay here on our next Asheville trip.

We had a small group of four girlfriends for a few days in Asheville. The house was perfect for what we needed and very, very clean. The neighborhood is a few miles from most everything you would want to visit. We enjoyed the space and the privacy.

We were a little skeptical at first driving down Oakley, but once we turned on Lamar we were like this is going to be cute! Sure enough the house did not disappoint. The house was clean and the online description was very accurate. The house was stocked with many amenities (cups, plates, utensils, extra toilet paper, trash bags), many things that I travel with because other properties don’t include.
We had an issue with the heat in the first night, but the owner was responsive early the following morning and had someone out to fix the unit. I left my favorite travel blanket in the house and the owner mailed it to me to following day.
Great property and even better owner. I would highly recommend and will be back when we have a group of friends joining us.

So spacious- more spacious than the photos represent. We absolutely loved our stay and had great communication with the host. The fire pit was such a fun perk along with the family style dining table.

We met with friends from out of state to spend New Years Eve together. We toured the Biltmore and had dinner on the property. The house was perfect for our gathering! It was extremely clean and everything was in perfect order. I highly recommend!

My family planned a quick visit to Asheville between Christmas and New Years to meet up with other family members from Tennessee. This appeared to be an ideal setup and location. It was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was also minutes from Biltmore and an easy drive every well else. Highly recommend.

This place was a great spot for our family of 8 with two young kids while visiting the Biltmore. Beds, sheets, and pillows are comfy, and the place has everything you need. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Had an amazing weekend. We had 7 women for an Asheville/NC mountain weekend. This home was very spacious and comfortable. Huge table for dinner and a great firepit out back for gathering.
So happy these owners decided to share this space.
One note to future renters is there are only 2 bathrooms. One in the master and one downstairs. There is no upstairs bathroom for those staying upstairs. This was no problem for us and there was plenty of hot water with spaced out timing.
Would not hesitate to recommend this listing to others and definitely would return to stay if coming again to the Asheville area. It was super convenient and close to Biltmore, Biltmore Village, downtown, shopping, breweries, etc.
