Excellent location in central Chablis. Excellent elevated terrace to enjoy views of the vineyards. Tasteful old mill conversion on the river Serein. Our particular suite was spacious. Towels and bathroom products were quality and copious. Fine choice of local wine available in the communal mini bar.
There were 2 niggles for us. The tea / coffee facility in the actual room was poor……. No milk, no tea, the coffee machine produced lukewarm coffee, we didn’t trust the lukewarm tap water. The other was how the staff used the guests’ common area. They used it as a staff room, occasionally with their friends joining them, and their constant noisy chatter detracted from what should have been a quiet, peaceful lunchtime terrace. The staff disappeared around 14:00 so afternoons and evenings were fine.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a central location and provided a very good breakfast.
Staffed reception finishes early afternoon which means that after a certain time (2pm/3pm approximately) clients have to let themselves into the hotel using codes. This was a bit unusual, although it worked fine in the end.

Great atmosphere in the old mill and perfectly situated in the Chablis area.
Breakfast was really simple and no staff around (self check-in). However, even though we did not see anyone our room was cleaned and everything worked smoothly.

There was no coffee in the room

A clean room with a view over the canal. Ignore the moans in other reviews about the water being too loud!
The Toilet room was tiny, but the bathroom was great. No real complaints.

Location fantadtic. Nice lounge sitting area with outside deck. The restaurant au fil du zinc a must do must book in advance experience. Free parking near hotel
No fridge in room, no coffee facilities in room. Bathroom anngles meant need to keep ducking, also no stairs so carrying bags 2 flights of stairs not fun. Toilet pokey and snall as bidet also in there.

The junior suite was really spacious (with two separate bathrooms), and the private terrace was certainly a plus. The bed was very comfortable, with firm mattresses. It was very quiet when we stayed in early spring. The French breakfast was good, including excellent baguette, boiled eggs and coffee and Chaource cheese, when available. Also the honesty bar is a great idea, especially if you'd like to try a bottle of the hotel owner's wine in your room (your private terrace). Bottle opener and glasses are provided.
There was a problem with the door to the room (you need to push it very hard), probably due to some subsidence in the building, so that the door doesn't quite fit in the frame. And the public parking lot was at least 50 meters away, so be sure not to bring too much luggage.

What an easy check-in, and some seriously gorgeous rooms. We stayed in the suite (room 3 on floor 1) and it was soo quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. We enjoyed the 2nd-floor lounge area and self-service mini bar, as well as the patio of our room. It was incredibly easy to access all of Chablis from the hotel, with parking very close by. It was so amazing to stay in such a historical space, and the delicious restaurant was also incredible.
Nothing! I loved everything! Would recommend to everyone.

Everything was fantastic. We will be back in April and will stay here. The mirror in our room was way too high. As a woman, 5’2” I could barely see my head/face and no place to put my toilette. I did my makeup in the mirror around the bathtub. The sinks are gorgeous but when travelling we have some bag for our toilette. Loved the room!

Our suite over the mill stream was spacious & I loved the terrace for my morning exercise routine .
Slightly awkward arrival space for unloading overnight baggage . Parking ok in town place ..

Rooms were large
Bed was comfortable
Honesty bar with wine, beer and soft drinks
Location is over the old mill weir
Wet room bathroom whilst large got a bit too wet
On a narrow street so would be difficult to unload baggage. Car park is close but would need a couple of trips if you have lots of bags.
We liked the sound of the water flowing over the weir but some may not
