A charcterful place, but don't expect professional courtesy when a problem is raised.

The location -- we woke up to the sound of cars racing around the Norschleife, which is thrilling (for some!). Lots of parking and a restaurant of repute within the hotel. Breakfast is absoutely superb.

For couples... room advertised as a LARGE DOUBLE and TWO SINGLES. We were given four singles and they tried to convince me that in Germany, a large double is actually two singles pushed together! However... there are separate bedsheets and quilts, so clearly they were just defending themselves and refused any goodwill gesture or acknowledgment of my greivance. The disappointment for me is that when I raised this issue, it was presented as MY problem, rather than acknowledging how the room as advertised and paid for in full, was incorrect and therefore, it was reasonable and understable that I would be aggreived by this. Shaming the customer for raising a problem is not a suitable manner in which to recognised areas of improvement. This was from the owner, who was very curt in her manner and ended the conversation, which became adversarial, muttering at me in German -- which was frankly, insuling. For parents... the mezzanine walls and ceilings are painted white and the lights 'downstairs' are too bright, so it is almost impossible to read or remain active without keeping the children up. I would paint the walls/ceilings upstairs a darker colour to absorb the light and offer dimmers or less bright lights downstairs. Wifi in our room on the end of the building was almost non-existent, however 4G reception wasn't too bad if you have this option available to you via your mobile contract. The plughole in the sink was broken (but I fixed it, thanks to rudimentary plumbing knowledge) -- however, this raised questions about the cleaning/room inspection protocol. There seems to be a ladybird infestation in the rooms at this time of year. They're harmless enough but a little distracting when falling asleep.

Superb

A really great location, right by a very vibey restaurant. Within walking distance of all the rental companies. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have wifi in the rooms and not just at the main reception and breakfast areas.

Epic!

The history of this hotel with the Nurburgring racers is incredible. The fact that the service is impeccable just adds to the lore. The restaurant is a must experience too.

Ac not working but cooled off so much at night open windows were perfect

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was given a warm reception, my room was very clean and I could even see the track from my window enough to know if cars were going round! The restaurant was very nice, again with nice friendly staff, lots of memorabilia and a great atmosphere.

Cozy Hotel with high standards, recommended!

The location of the hotel is awesome, from the rom window you could watch the racetrack. There is good parking nearby. The rooms are clean and have inspiration from famous racing drivers. breakfast is served in a cozy cafe, with a view of the pleasant street the hotel is located on. I would recommend this hotel further.

great location. walkable to Nurburgring. good Italian restaurant on-site.

the property is fine. but there are no convenient stores in the town except for the one at the track. so just prepare provisions if you like to have them.

Timeless. Nuerburg legend.

As always, Frau Schmitz runs a great hotel. The famous Nurburgring Hotel with the integral Restaurant Pistenklause. I have stayed here since 1993. THE place to stay.

Great stay

Room photos on booking are old, rooms (at least ours) are brand new, freshly refurbished, very cozy and modern. Great breakfast and staff! Definitely my future go to accommodation when on Ring

Well worth another visit.

Really clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Bar and restaurant on site, with very reasonable prices.

No aircon, but the windows open wide so no problem.
