Beautiful hotel with charming modern rooms and excellent EV charging.

Decent EV charging, 2 x Porsche 7kw and 1 x Tesla chargers and they had reserved one for me per my request, can't ask for more. Left the next morning after a great breakfast with 100% charge. Room was lovely and ideal after a long drive.

Having arrived very late it was dark between the car park and the main building so some motion sensing lights would help, mentioned this at check out and they said they would look into it. Nitpicking really

Perfect

The hotel was absolutely perfect for all our requirements. We traveled with our dog and the hotel accommodated her needs and the walks around the hotel were endless and full of wildlife. The food was excellent as was all aspects of the accommodation. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel

Some may feel it is remote but I felt that was a bonus

Fabulous setting in wildlife haven.

Fabulous setting with abundant wildlife. Very welcoming to us and our pet. Bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. Would love to return to stay longer (we only stayed overnight on our way to Calais).

Good stop off on route to Alps for us.

Nice spacious room ( we had junior suite) overlooking courtyard. Had a masage at the Spa which was very good. Good food and service in teh restaurant.

Splendid, will do it again !

The location, the reception, really ALL the staff, a superb cuisine. The Tarbot is the best I ever had and I especially booked this hotel again to be able to revisit this signature dish. The friendlyness of the restaurant staff, especially the young waiter who prepared our crêpes Suzette ;-) Whenever I have a need to stay in the neighbourhood, I will select Le Domaine de Barive !

The finishing standard of the rooms is .. well .. typically French. Everything is there but the build quality leaves things to be desired. All in all for me not a deal breaker at all.

Room 20 poor, lighting so low it was impossible to read Hotel staff only noticeable by their total absence Very over priced if you do not use all their facilities Staff civil but not welcoming and at this price they need to do a lot more

Great accommodation, clean and comfortable, let down by inattentive service

Our room was beautiful. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Great bathroom.

The service in the bar lounge area was poor and not very attentive. No one came to ask if we wanted something and didn't come back to see if we needed anything else. The table service at dinner was also quite random and chaotic. No one made proper contact with us.

Amazing countryside hotel

Glamorous hotel in the countryside. The rooms were luxurious with plenty of space and private patio. The rooms have a convenient arrangement if travelling as a family as they are side by side with an external door. The pool and hot tub areas are great and a convenient bag of towels and flip flops is awaiting in the bedrooms . The restaurant was serving a snack menu on the night we stayed, as the full restaurant was closed. The food was great but the portions were huge! Breakfast was good too.

The Wi-Fi in the rooms was not reliable. There is a conference room in the hotel where the Wi-Fi is good though.

A must stay holiday resort

Fabulous hotel to stay for a couple of days on your way through the north of France! Exceeded all my expectations.

Serve the “degustation menu” in your extraordinary restaurant on all days of the week.

Make sure you book dinner

Dinner was possibly one of the best I've ever had, waiters and waitresses excellent, beautiful setting.

Bed was old and uncomfortable, but the dinner was so good it wouldn't stop me going back
