This hotel is fantastic. We came here on a mini-moon in April so the hotel wasn’t too busy. we absolutely loved the views in the sea view room, the food was exceptional including room service, the staff were all friendly and amazing and the spa treatments were brilliant. We would love to come back again in the summer.
The private pools where freezing

The Village is a very resort, on a hill with a wonderful view on the sea.
The breakfast is great with a lot of choices and great to start the day.
You have three pools to enjoy the sun with a great view.
The rooms with the private pool are great to have a rest after a day under the sun. They are very spacious.
You have a mini-market within the hotel, very handy !
The beach club is a bit further within another hotel of the same company.
You need to take the shuttle. Or I advise you to rent a motorbike or a car in order to enjoy around.
The hotel is very big, so you have to come early to get a sun bed around the pool.

The stuff was very nice and the breakfast was very good.
We loved our room with the private pool, the room was big and very pretty. The minibar worked perfectly keeping our water bottles cold. The parking outside the rooms is also very helpful.
We had many ants in our room, on the table under the TV, near the bed even on the bed sometimes. Nothing helped to get rid of them. The stuff was tring to help but they just kept coming.
The shower had really low pressure.

The breakfast options were great and the staff were absolutely amazing. Only a 20 minute drive to Rhodes old town and close to a beach.
The location wasn't the best as it was only really other hotels in the local area other than the beach, and the private pools, although wonderful to have, were unheated and not in the sun for a lot of the day.

The hotel is massive, you go up a hill to get to the main reception which has the hotel, restaurants and pools. Then, further up the hill there are different “villages” for the rooms. We were right at the top of the hill and the view of the ocean is stunning.
We hired a car and used this to get around the hotel grounds as the hills are very steep. However, there is a shuttle bus that will pick you up outside your village every 20 mins and will take you to the main building, or down to the beach.
The beach is not operated by the hotel and cost 8 euros for a bed. They have food/drinks available by ringing a buzzer. The beach is nice but a little rocky.
We had a Seaview room with private shared pool which was very big and luxurious. You share the pool with your village block which is about 10 rooms but it was empty most of the time.
Overall great place to stay!
We had quite a few issues with the reception staff. They often didn’t follow up with our requests. Eg, we asked to make a booking at the restaurant and they said they’d have to wait for the restaurant to open and then would email us to let us know, but then never got back to us.
We requested a new kettle (twice) as it was leaking from the bottom and we never got one.
They gave us a voucher for a restaurant one of the nights only to be told after we had eaten the voucher isnt valid. Then the next morning were told we didn’t have to pay and not to worry they are forcing the waiter to pay (even though it’s the receptions fault). It didn’t feel sincere it seemed like a threat that if we don’t pay then they will get a worker to..
By the end of the stay we gave up asking them things or using the hotel restaurants as it had left a bad taste.
I also think the burger restaurant was over the top, it should be a little more casual. It’s like fine dining to eat a burger.

Lovely location, staff friendly
The only negative experience we had at a restaurant in Rhodes was at the Mediterraneo resturant at the resort. The area was infested with cockroaches.

I loved the decoration, the service, the view from my room, the quietness! I lived the main pool and the fact that it wasn’t crowded- you could come late and still have place to stay
Our fridge wasn’t working, but someone from the maintenance team came real quick to fix it

My husband and I always travel with our dog (he is a small German spitz), and we have stayed in many hotels, but Esperos Village Blue was by far one of the best experiences we had traveling with our dog:
- we were able to walk all over the hotel with him,
- we could choose the room category we wanted,
- our pet also got a kit with a bed, snacks, toys from the hotel,
- everyone treated us and our dog very well.
Certainly, Esperos Village Blue is truly "pet friendly” and we already want to come back in the future! It was a more than wonderful experience! :D
We also traveled to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the hotel gave us a delicious cake too! :)
Amazing experience!!

Beautiful hotel grounds, loved our room, the staff were very helpful and friendly
No iron available in room and the ironing service that is offered would become very expensive to iron everything in our suitcase

the location is unique and views are breathtaking! breakfast is probably the most delicious we have found in any hotel!! the night bar has charm and the bartenders are super nice.
the room was a little bit dusty and it lacks maintenance on some details like spots on the walls not well painted and even though decoration is nice it can easily be improved.

Views and pool beds, food was ok.
We came to the beautiful location, loved the room! But the window in the shower was broken (I got scratched by it) and the water didn’t go through. The shower room was all flooded by water.
Staff told us to move to another but changed their mind a minute after. It took 3 hours to explain why we couldn’t stay in the room, they actually asked us for more money for another room which is outrageous!!
Eventually we moved 3 rooms during our stay which was exhausting. Didn’t get a compensation for all this trouble, definitely ruined my trip.
Gym facilities are bad.

All staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice gestures and treats towards our dog too. Food is great and lots of choice in all restaurants as well as at breakfast. Our room with private pool was super comfortable, with a comfy bed and lots of space. Location is close to anywhere you’d want to visit on the island, with several rental options near the hotel.
Being at the top of the hotel, which is set up as a village, we were a bit far away from the main area with restaurants and the bar. Of course, mini vans were driving around regularly to transport people around the domain, but it does prevent you from quickly going to pick up a cocktail at the bar to take to your room. You can order room service, but that can take up to 30 min to arrive. In other hotels where we’ve been where they have rooms with a private pool, they have a pop up bar close to those rooms for easy service. This would be a good option to consider for Esperos as well.
