Pousada interessante, porém muito cara para o que oferece. Pelo preço, esperava bem mais.

Gostei do fato da pousada estar em uma encosta arborizada, num local silencioso, com um visual belíssimo; nem parece que você está dentro da cidade. Bom café da manhã.

Pelo valor da diária, a minha expectativa era alta. Na descrição do quarto, dizia que havia uma "piscina particular", mas ao chegar encontrei uma banheira de hidro com cara de piscina, bem diferente da foto no site. A comida do restaurante deixou a desejar, não compensa comer lá dentro. ATENÇÃO para quem for reservar pela Booking: a pousada vai lançar o valor total no seu cartão imediatamente após você efetuar sua reserva, mesmo que ela tenha "cancelamento grátis nos 14 dias antes da estadia". Na booking diz que ela pode ser lançada "a qualquer momento", não diz IMEDIATAMENTE. A descrição leva ao entendimento de que o valor será faturado 14 dias antes da sua estadia, e após esse prazo, se cancelar não haverá reembolso, mas não diz que você pagará NO MOMENTO DA RESERVA. Mas é isso que eles fazem. Seria mais honesto informar exatamente como será a cobrança: "você pagará agora, e se cancelar em até 14 dias antes da estadia, receberá seu dinheiro de volta", seria mais honesto. Foi bem desagradável, pois reservei com bastante antecedência e não estava contando com o lançamento na fatura do próprio mês. Tanto que eu havia reservado um 2º período, no Natal, que foi lançado na minha fatura no momento mesmo da reserva, e em seguida eu cancelei "sem custo", porém estou esperando até agora a devolução do valor no meu cartão, pois leva 30 DIAS pra devolver. Debita já, porém devolve em 30 dias, e seu dinheiro fica rendendo 1 mês na conta do dono da pousada! Isso comprometeu meu limite e me causou alguns transtornos. Não houve nenhuma compreensão nem flexibilidade por parte da pousada quando questionei o processo. Ah, e por último, se ainda assim você resolver ir e for chegar à noite, leve uma lanterna para encontrar a recepção, pois ninguém vem te receber no portão, é escuro e não dá pra enxergar a sinalização.

Great getaway.

Parking was gated. One had to talk over the intercom to get through. Parking was covered by CCTV. The private beach was great. Araruama lagoon's revitalization project seems to be successful. The water is cleaner and saltier than 20 years ago. The bathroom was good. The view from the room was fantastic.

The stairways to the rooms and the beach could be safer.

2nd time at this location and it is a fantastic and peaceful place. Food is good the breakfast is fantastic.

If you are looking for sunbathing, you should be aware that the sun does not reach the pool area from late March to late August. But there are other beaches nearby.

Beautiful photos, terrible experience

Beautiful decoration and comfy environment. The proximity to the lake creates beautiful scenery.

They are very disorganized. Our reserved and paid-for desired room was not available but listed. They did multiple charges because of math mistakes. Various products were missing from the menu items, and they were very price for low quality. Be aware of the fee charged because they differ on the bill, site, and printed menu. The hotel is very isolated, and the options for dining in are limited and expensive, and you have to order in advance. Also, because they are located in front of a lake (not the sea), be prepared to be eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Very good

The hotel is rustic, yet gorgeous and quiet. Apart from our family, most guests were couples. It has a small private beach - in a very clean lagoon, rather than the sea - with a wooden pier. The pool is not big but offers a beautiful view of the lagoon and the sea in the distance. Our rooms were clean and well decorated, each with a private bathroom (no tub). Location of the hotel is great to also visit other beaches such as Buzios and Arraial do Cabo.

Quite a few staff members seemed to be new and could not answer all of our questions (even though they tried). Breakfast was good but we were rather disappointed with the quality of the food when we stayed for dinner one evening.

Nice stay... with comments.

Inn was in front of the lake... with access. Swimming pool area was very nice and great view over lake. Food was very good. Great breakfast.

Location was good but you had no option to have food. Very far from any other restaurant. Restaurant gets closed between meals and no option could be served as kitchen closes. (not even a sandwich or cookies, nothing). Bedroom was dirty on corners and so many flies and insects everywhere.

Nothing Special, very overpriced

Breakfast by far. Very decent.

It’s really over priced. It’s very far away from the beautiful beaches. The “town” where is located, is a small fisherman’s place, very quite. Super far away from the beaches that you wanna be, and very very quite by night. The hotel it’s nothing special, basic but fine, the swimming pool is artic cold. Breakfast it’s good, but restaurant it’s super expensive, not that good, and the owner’s dogs are all over the place. Nothing special, over priced.
