We had a suite on the ocean side which was amazing (worth the extra cost) the view was spectacular, we sat on the deck and heard a horse drawn garbage truck go by! It was a much larger room than usual European standards so lots of space a privacy. Breakfast was great and just what you would expect when in France.
We were trying to get a taxi to the airport and the taxi service only speaks French, we do not. The hotel reception provided zero assistance - usually even when in a foreign country that's something hotels are happy to help with.

Location

My wife and I were travelling in the Loire Valley, and, as part of the holiday, we visited St. Gilles Croix de Vie by chance, as the other coastal towns looked like Blackpool on a bad day!
We booked 3 nights at the Sea View, and we were so pleased we did.
From there charming receptionist (Sarah) to the great room with a sea view, we had a restful 3 days.
The location ticked all the holiday boxes for us, and we will go back as soon as we can.
Having to leave.

Everything inside and out was lovely. Only French TV, but to be expected. Lovely rooms & terrace. Staff attentive and friendly.
The weather!!
No restaurant, but Google Earth still shows it as having one (not the hotel's fault!) Lack of parking could be an issue. Breakfast expensive.

Breakfast

We booked a room with sea view and when we arrived we leaned that there was also rooms with sea view and a terras.
When asked the staff was very helpful and we were able to re-book for one night (no availability longer) the room with the terras. We enjoyed a long evening on the terras and had breakfast with sea viewoutside in the morning. It was great!
And the communication between the staff (when handing over the shifts) on what was agreed with us was excellent too!
Also the stalling of our e-bikes was with the help of the staff quickly and secure fixed.
It's not that we didn't like it but not having the ability to park the car close (in sight) was a minor point.

Sea view, proper opening windows. We could leave our bikes in the enclosed courtyard. Breakfast was good, overlooking the sea.
Parking is an issue, all around the area, is blue zone parking. Restrictions from 9:00 till 19:00. A pass is available from the hotel to allow max 5 hours.Had to park 400m from hotel. Everything worked OK, but could do with a little TLC maintainance.
3.0
Good location in front of the sea.
Friendly and helpful people.
The room is very very smal. The bathroom is not even a real bathroom but a “cabine” like on an airplane.

Very friendly and helpful staff
Nice location
Dog-friendly but very clean
We stayed at the hotel when it was around 38-40 degrees and so when both airconditioners in the family room did not work well we really noticed it! We opened the windows which meant it was very noisy during the night.

great location
very small room, very expensive for the quality
coffee/tea was not good
no glasses
super small bathroom, not bath tub even if we requested one
