The hotel was excellent value for its location and facilities. We ate dinner and breakfast there the food was good and excellent value. The hotel fronts onto a wonderful beach and we had a very spacious rooms. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and we had a great ocean view
All positive no negatives

Me pareció muy bien. La ubicación es muy buena ya que está cerca del GAP.

Great resort located directly on a beautiful beach. Our rooms were excellent apartments. The staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. We’d certainly go back
The evening menu for the restaurant didn’t have a wide selection, but the location on St Lawrence Gap meant lots of great restaurants in short walking distance

Sehr freundliches Personal. Toller Strandabschnitt mit großzügigem Platzangebot für Hotelgäste, immer freie Liegen. Mitten in St. Lawrence Gap, gute Restaurants in der Nähe, topp Location!

I liked the pool.
Better Wifi , we had a kettle with no tea or coffe, no water no kitchen sink, they charged us $15 for a bottle of water, i was on a budget and could barely afford to even leave to buy food, they waited till i arrived to then tell me the tax or levy wasn’t included in my payment i had to pay additional fee.

Overall the hotel and its staff are wonderful. Breakfast was delicious as well as the drinks. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant.
Unless your by the pool or the lobby area, the wifi was very weak, especially within the rooms. Hopefully they can get better bandwidth.

Beautiful balcony view
Good location to explore the south part of the island
Poor breakfast options
Very slow service

Location
Rooms need to be updated. Also a problem with bugs and lizards in rooms. There was no entertainment on Saturday night (we do realize we were off season)

From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. We loved the tradition charm of the property. Staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful. The location is superb and facilities excellent. Little touches like afternoon tea by the pool, rum welcome party and Prosecco for my birthday all added to our amazing experience.

Beach front stunning location very nice staff food very good with excellent cocktails
Turtles in the sea and coming up onto the sand to lay eggs amazing
Having to sign for every drink and food item after each one

Nice location in the Gap, which has tons of restaurants, bars, and mini-marts. Beautiful beach. Friendly staff.
The wifi was almost unusable which made it difficult for me since I was on work travel. I also found a lot of bugs in my room.

The bathroom was very compact. Shower was very small.

Fabulous location, best beach on thd island, plenty to do, loads of bars and restaurants close by, outstanding friendly helpful staff, Sandy the watersports man is a real asset to the hotel, what a superstar, his help and support throughout our stay Made our stay, simply brilliant, a personal thanks from us to Sandy and a big thank you to reception who moved our room after the first night due to noise from the bar across the road, we had such a brilliant room and sea view for the rest of our stay, made all the difference to our holiday experience, thank you. Clean and very spacious rooms.
As room only booking we could have done with some cutlery small plates and a couple of dishes in the room for odd occasions when we didn't eat out.

location to the beach, most of the staff
rooms a bit dated…. couple of the staff should not really work with the public

The location on the beach was awesome.
The way overpriced "ocean view" room, the small outdated bathroom, paying for an in room safe, the restaurant food, and particularly the noise from across the street!

We had a great stay here! The location is great right on the beach and walking distance to all the bars and restaurants at St Lawrence Gap. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. Room was spacious with everything we needed and they brought us a honeymoon gift of bubbles which was a really nice gesture. Thank you!

great location, comfortable rooms/suites, lovely friendly staff and great entertainment
we have no dislikes about this hotel

Great older hotel on a superb beach. Ideal location with lots of restaurants easily walkable nearby
It's older, but kept clean, somethings are a little worn with a couple layers of paint, but does not affect your enjoyment of the hotel

the beach and the rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic
the menu at the breakfast was not explained to us or shown us , they have a strange way doing things it’s cheaper to be waited on than self service so in stead of our breakfast costing us $71 it cost $140 crazy I argued this with the f/b manager and she couldn’t see what I was saying , so this was the one and only fault in the hotel

Location is pretty amazing, right on Dover beach, which is a beautiful spot to be. Hotel staff were very friendly, and always helpful, which makes a huge difference to any holiday. Drinks in the bar were great, and we ate in a couple of times, and the food was really good, very tasty. Hotel is just down from the main nightlife areas, with a few bars and restaurants near by which are pretty low key, and good value for money. Beach is amazing, quite a few palm trees for the shade that you will need. It gets hot! One final think to mention is Tea/coffee and cake surved every afternoon next to the pool, perfect for a small break from the sun, and beach.
The only thing I didn't like was the noise. The rooms are great but with the entry door backing on to the car park, and road it was occasionally a little noisy, but apart from that it was all good.

The location, the staff and management.

Good location, on a nice beach (but not one for poor swimmers). Clean, good bars nearby, and good value for money as a mid-range hotel. Some staff were great abs friendly, always smiling.
Some of the staff were a little unfriendly, (but some were great!). My double bed had been used by couples for many years I imagine, so there was a slight ridge in the middle which made use of the bed as a single occupant a little frustrating. Time for a new mattress!!

Room a little tired but clean , we had an ocean front room with balcony which was great ,lots of bars & restaurants all nearby , beach was excellent
room could do with new furniture and a freshen up

Everything, what’s not to like. The people, the fish and turtles when you walk in, the facilities, the pool, the beach and of course the room. The location is perfect as well, I can see why they have repeat customers because it’s such a cosy and lovely hotel. We would 100% come back here.
The only thing we didn’t have the best experience with was some of the waiting times from the bar staff, we were taken to a table for happy hour on two occasions around 6:35/40, ordered our drinks and both our drinks didn’t turn up until 7:15 and 7:20 on the 2nd occasion and she hadn’t even ordered an alcoholic drink - these were just basic mock-tails, yet everyone else’s drinks were arriving moments after ordering. And perhaps some of the prices on the breakfast options - if you’re not having the buffet, should be learnt by staff or at least made clearer. One egg and one sausage isn’t the same as two eggs any style with bacon or sausage on the side.

the location!!!!
found the staff at the reception not very friendly. on my last day , they asked me if I enjoyed my stay with them nor could they say goodbye. they didn’t make me feel welcomed at all.

This lovely pink hotel is perfectly situated right on Dover beach. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea. They have a fridge, sink and kettle - with a shop and ATM close by to get coffee and milk. The hotel has a very good restaurant right on the beach, free afternoon tea and a well attended happy hour. The joy is the 200 metre frontage which means that the beach is chilled and sparsely occupied - no ghastly seried ranks of sunbeds. That fact that people have been coming here for decades tells you all you need to know. It is an older, friendly crowd. Step out into the Gap and there is a lively bar and restaurant scene on your doorstep.

Watersports guy based at the hotel was great! Location is excellent and the room was large and clean.
Terrible Wi-Fi, totally unusable. Charging $3 a night to use the safe when paying £2,500 for a 9 night stay is crazy.

Amazing location right on Dover beach (complete with turtles in the sea) lovely staff, near loads of bars and restaurants
Our room was very dated as is a lot of the hotel. Bed not at all comfortable. Silly $3 a day charge for the safe and totally ripped off over some laundry ($248 for abour 20 pieces). All simple things they need to address
