About this house rental
We think no one should have to compromise when booking a vacation...so we brought you Lupine Lodge! This four-bedroom Tahoe City vacation rental has space for the whole family (plus a few friends!), and offers patio dining, and a media loft. Even better, during the summer months you are just up the hill from Tahoe House (delicious coffee, baked goods, and lunch items), Sunnyside Restaurant, and a private community beach park on Lake Tahoe!
On the main floor of the property, a comfortable great room provides plenty of seating from which you can enjoy a movie on the wall-mounted flat screen or relax while a real wood fire crackles nearby. The large gourmet kitchen offers a decorative wood stove in keeping with the traditional Tahoe style, and the stacked brick walls integrate seamlessly with contemporary stainless steel appliances. For larger groups, the upstairs family room provides a second social space, perfect for those traveling with teens.
Also located on the main floor are two bedrooms, including a Junior Primary with its own bath, making it a good option for a couple or individual that prefers not to navigate numerous stairs. The nearby bunk room is great for kids, and the main floor has its own full bathroom. Downstairs, the large Primary bedroom is outfitted with a King bed, full-size sofa, and sliding door to the lower outdoor deck. The en suite bath is quite spacious as well, with a jetted tub, shower, and double vanity. The fourth bedroom, also downstairs, sleeps up to four with two queen beds.
The home's two outdoor decks are well equipped for summer fun. On the main level deck, access the gas grill, and a small dining set perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. On the covered lower deck, enjoy long dinners on summer nights.

This home was amazing - it was so comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Very kid friendly. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out in multiple places. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with access to the private beach. Everything easy to use. We loved this home and will definitely be back!

I had just lost my mom the day before. It was a great escape with family coming together from east coast, Midwest and west coast. We had a great time with family. Great location. When we had issues management came out right away.

This has become an annual event for us for both Lake Tahoe in the fall and the pleasure of this wonderful home. Our every need was provided for and the location is amazing. Having been there before it was fun finding all the new things. We will come again. Thank you for your terrific hospitality

nice house with nice private beach.
mattresses were a bit to soft for our liking.
the listing says "peak views of lake tahoe", but this is a typo. They mean to say "Peek views of lake tahoe"... as in peeking through the trees.

We loved Lupine Lodge and definitely will recommend it. Its clean, has plenty of cookware, towels, space for family getaways. This house is definitely a dream home while in Tahoe. The bed sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. It's a short drive form everything like truckee river rafting, Tahoe city shops, restaurant, and our favorite West Shore market. It definitely felt like a home away from home. We love Tahoe and will return to this home in future.

This is the most perfect home in Tahoe. The renovations for state of the art bathrooms, a roaring fireplace, gorgeous ski/mud room, huge backyard, large open kitchen with all amenities, a tv/game room to relax, decks on both levels and the best location in the area. Close to Sunnyside, West Shore Market, Palisades and access to a private HOA on the lake - it supersedes any photos and their home description is understated compared to how amazing it is. We have been to Tahoe many times and this is BY FAR the best place we have ever stayed. It's a gem and we are so thankful to have wonderful memories in this gorgeous home.

A splendid week in a lovely home. Had the blessing of three seasons in one week, summer, fall, and a little snow of winter. The home was perfect, well stocked. Newly remodeled baths, with heated floors. Roaring fire in large fireplace. Amazing views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding area and walking trails through an amazing forest. Convenient to boutique shopping and restaurants. We will be back

SO! spacious... which made it a perfect place for our large family gathering :D And, in spite of it being part way through a re-do, it was in very good shape. Everybody loved! Everyone wants to return next year :D

April Getaway
We were a group of 4 adults and two children in need of an escape from the City after being cooped up for so long with the covid lockdown. The house was perfect! More than enough space for everyone. The kids had a great time running around and had plenty of space to do it. We had no issues while we were there. The kitchen and grill were great and we had tons of fun in the hot tub. We would totally stay here again.

Great house but interior needs a lot of improvement
We had conflicting feelings about our stay here. The house itself is 5/5 - lots of space for a bigger group, great outdoor space, good location, views of the lake. But much of the interior
was a 2.5/5. So many things were broken - multiple blinds through the house, several kitchen cabinets hanging off the hinges (resulting in caught fingers), three out of eight lights in one of the bedrooms, a tap in the master bathroom that wasn't running at all. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls and glasses but very light on pans and baking sheets, making cooking awkward. The grill was very dirty and didn't work properly. There was less than one towel per person left out for us and several of them were badly stained. There was no hanging space at all in the downstairs two bedrooms. I'd be very surprised if anyone who cares about this house has been to look around in the past six months. So much was broken, dirty or neglected that we really can't put it down to accidents. It just wasn't good enough. And it is so rare that a management company doesn't provide more than one or two dishwasher tablets - that kind of stingy approach to customers always turns us off. It's a lovely house but we wouldn't stay again in its current state.

Update work needed for this property/dnr
There Were so many things that were wrong with this property that I feel the owner should know about. There were liability dangerous liability issues. As well as the place being very dirty. I’m not sure I have enough space but I will try to let do you know of our experience. Walking in there was a gaping hole where the vent should have been in the floor. My granddaughter was on the deck with me she is two years old. I turned around and found her using chlorine tablets as chalk on the deck, this could have been very serious. The Internet did not work for two days it was not repaired until today I told the agency that I would have to leave due to business requirements if I did not have the Internet. Low and behold and within a half an hour of me leaving they showed up with a hotspot. The hot tub was dirty and did not work but was repaired within a day. The floor was so dirty we had to vacuum the complete house. They ask you to leave the shades down due to bears in the area yeah the shade did not work over the kitchen sink. They ask you to wash the towels when you leave yet they left no soap to do this, I was not going to buy soap for the agency. The floor in the laundry room had broken and cracked tiles that they put blue tape over I guess they use that color because the tile is blue. The rear deck is so old that you could not go out there in bare feet without the risk of getting slivers. I have rented in Tahoe every year for many years and have enjoyed it every time, we did not leave the house ruin our trip we still enjoyed it. By the way they gave us a hotspot so that did not allow us to use any of the apps on the television, so no Netflix no Amazon, just regular programming.

The BEST of the best!
This gorgeous home provided us one of the best vacations we have ever had. As soon as you drive into the driveway, you realize how special this place really is. The high ceilings, open floor-plan, indoor/outdoor living, beautiful chef's kitchen and fireplace fit for a king are just a few of the amenities that we cherished.
Not only is the home magnificent, but the location is unreal. Just a few minutes walk or drive from the lake, Tahoe City, amazing restaurants and markets, world-class hiking and skiing and so much more. Just up the road is a vista view of the lake and cannot be described other than one of the most incredible views in the world. The sunrise and sunset views from that vantage point are arguably the best in Tahoe.
The HOA amenity included with the home is also a HUGE perk. You walk into a private park with grounds manicured like Augusta National, direct access to a pier and beach and you're next door to the famous Sunnyside Restaurant. The park is filled with picnic tables, BBQ's, private bathrooms, a basketball court and playground perfect for children.
This home is very quiet, in a gorgeous and safe neighborhood where you really see a sense of community and just feels like a hug when you walk through the front door. It's furnished where you feel comfortable luxury and comes with perfect multi-level living. There is a front great room perfect for work calls or watching sports with your family. The living room has floor to ceiling glass where the lake flirts with you between the trees while a giant living room plays into the amazing comfort level of the home. The jacuzzi on the main level provides exquisite views along with the large deck accompanied by comfortable patio furniture and is great for any time of the year. The grassy backyard is also a rarity, with ample space for kids to run around while they can be watched from the top or bottom deck.
I cannot say enough incredible things about this property. It's the most special home we could have ever imagined and we are so beyond thankful for our time spent here. Make sure you have tons of storage space on your phone when you stay here - everywhere you turn is a photo not to be missed.
Thank you Lupine Lodge for your warmth, character and beauty. We will be back!

Hooker / Fiore Family review.
Lupine Lodge is the most beautiful, cosy family home a very short drive from the lake with access to a private beach. We have had the most wonderful stay with our toddlers and it felt like a home away from home. So comfortable for two families to share, and very kiddie friendly. Perfectly located with the best bakery and natural food store just down the road and yet Tahoe city a short distance away with access to all the stores. The private beach and grounds were our favorite place to be and we have come away with very happy memories. We had to tear ourselves away after the most magical week - THANK YOU!! Highly recommend this beautiful home for the perfect Lake Tahoe getaway.
