Such a lovely place to stay - an absolute gem!!!

Quite easy to find : quaint village out in the countryside. Such a beautiful setting - lovely garden with loads of shades + cute looking chickens. In the other garden (enclosed), some goats and a pony. Hostess could not do enough to ensure that you are comfortably settled in. Our allocated room was surprisingly spacious and cool (despite the heat outside). Bathroom was also quite roomy with a fantastic hot shower + fully stocked (shower gel/shampoo, soap, fluffy towels and hair dryer) Also in the room there was a kettle, cups and coffee/tea etc), some sweets, bottle of water… and there’s the possibility to order drinks. Unfortunately because we booked at the very last minute, we could not take advantage of a home cooked meal. Not to worry, only 7mn away from the town. Continental breakfast in the morning included tea/coffee, orange juice, pastries, homemade jams, cake and yogurt. We definitely highly recommend this place!!! Oh Wi-Fi signal is good and ample parking as well.

Rural property, lovely owner

Monique was very welcoming and is a lovely character. The house and room were clean and attractive and the garden was beautiful. Her menagerie of chickens were entertaining. Monique provided a super evening meal for a reasonable extra cost. We would definitely stay again.

Room size was very good , nice and warm room ok for one night the owner was very nice

The stairs to bedrooms was very tight the breakfast was poor although the jams were home made , not much of anything else provided tv was in the wardrobe . The sink plug hole was broken and wouldn’t hold the water in the sink and the shower bracket was broke, and only sprayed the wall unless you took the shower head off and held it in your hands

Perfect host tranquil location

The location is tranquil, the host very friendly and bubbly, made most welcome, the breakfast was breads, pastry’s and home made jams. Including cider Jam ! Delicious

Comfortable peace in beautiful countryside with cute farm animals.

We were in despered need for a accommodation during our short road trip in France. It was already very late and all other hotels were either closed or fully occupied. Thankfully d'Amiens was answering our needs and were able to accommodate us within such a short notice. Monique was so helpuf and waited us even when our arrival was almost midnight. Hotel is so wonderful old house and I definitely want to visit this place also in summer. Breakfast with home made jams were so delicious. Thank Monique you so much!

Small difficulties on understanding because we don't speak french, only english - but all went still well :) Also parking facilities and road to destination were a bit small for a truck/lorry as what we were driving.

A pleasant stopover on the way back from our holiday.

Breakfast was lovely, and plenty of it. The house was in a rural and very peaceful location

Being misled into expecting to be able to pay by credit card. We were asked to pay by cash and had to use all that we had left to do so. This left us short for the remainder of our journey. Our booking confirmation clearly states 'this property accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard'.

Read the good AND the bad reports!

The property is certainly very picturesque - the positives stop there.

If you are considering staying here read the good AND the bad reviews. The bad are entirely valid although you may stay, without dinner, and feel it was a good stay..... with a somewhat eccentric host.Contrary to the detail supplied the property does not have a pool, the owner does not speak or chooses not to speak English, and payment must be in cash (do not expect a receipt) Like others we waited a half hour to be shown our room after a long journey whilst the owner fed her chickens and leaf blew the drive (achieving little more than covering our car with dust). We were not ourselves subject to outright rudeness but witnessed it to others who arrived after us and had the timerity to ask some perfectly reasonable requests. We were asked if we would like dinner and gratefully accepted as the property is some distance from town. This turned out to be two course supermarket fare, which along with two bottles of rose wine (4 euros 50 from Carrefour) cost us 100 euros. We therefore left feeling completely ripped off! We have queried the bill by email but have not yet received a response. We would certainly NOT recommend this accommodation and advise Booking.com to check the statements made on its facilities.

Very comfortable hotel, beautiful building and garden.

We arrived a bit early but sat in the wonderful garden while we waited to check in. Comfortable room, breakfast was very nice with homemade jams and cake.

The owner asked us if we wanted to join dinner. The food was decent and it was a big plus that we didn't have to look for a restaurant.

Delightfully tucked away, lovely garden with interesting hens running around. The room was clean, charming with everything you need. Delicious French breakfast .
