Overall, it was a good choice for Taipei trip!

Its location was perfect, less than one minute walk from Dongmen station, exit 8. And the staff was very friendly and had no problem communicating in English.

There was only one elevator, and it was very slow. The bathroom was not clean enough.

Good location and most staff were great if you stay for 1-2 nights.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff at the breakfast section, Claire, Winnie, Vicky, Amanda and Doris, were super friendly and helpful. They made our morning wonderful.

The cleanliness. Certainly, the hotel’s policy is no cleaning during stay but toilet. As we stayed for 5days/4nights and the room had never been clean. So the latter days, the room’s condition was not so nice. In other hotels, they provide cleaning equipment if they adopt the same policy. In addition we put the make-up room sign but our room was never been done. We had to call to the reception, then a staff came to empty trash bin and told us to take toiletries ourselves at the lobby. The reason we got was ridiculous. The staff said they were too busy as too many guests.

Not all lights in the room can be turned off Due to maintenance, our room was filled with bright emergency lights for a whole night. Moreover, the airconditioning was not functioning.

The pictures online match the room we booked. Very handy location, close to subway station. There are many eatery places across the road.

The lights in the room are a bit dim.

Convenient to subway and located in good shopping and restaurant area.

Everyday we had to call the lobby to get clean towels and water and pick up trash from room even though we put a sign on our door saying we wanted our room made up. Also very poor dull small lobby area.

You get what you pay. Location is good. Dongmen Metro station is right below this hotel. Walking distance to Yongkang street where tourist do their tourist things. Right behind the hotel vacinity is Dongmen morning market.

Size of the room is not for the XXL or larger. It gives a compact Japan vibe similar to Toyoko Inn type. All floors are also served by just one lift, so if it breaks down one day, oh boy!

Great!

Great location as it’s right above the MRT Dongmen Station. The staff was friendly and provided excellent services throughout my stay. Breakfast quality and selections were also excellent. All around it was one of my best hotel experience in Taipei.

Poor soundproofing. Can hear neighboring units. Elevator wait time can be long since there’s only one in the building. Wish the room is bigger or at least have a space for luggage (also lacking a luggage rack in the room).

I chose a windowless right room and it was perfectly adequate and was as described. I just won't chose that again.

Small room at a good location as plus value

Very convenient location, the Dongmen station was next door.

The hotel was located at an alley, behind a post office, hence not easy to find for people who cant read chinese. Room was small considering the price. If you check out early (like we did at 6am) there might not be a front desk officer so you had to wait until someone show up.

Located in city center, really close to MRT exit so super convenient to move around in the city. Clean and modern. Also suitable for both business travel.

It was conveniently located, with close proximity to Dongmen metro station and Yongkang street.

Housekeeping could only be provided upon request due to covid so the room accumulated a fair bit of trash. In addition, toilet paper cannot be flush down the toilet so it only be thrown in the trashbin… The twin room that was allocated to us had 2 twin beds put together sharing one comforter which was kind of strange.

the room is too small but picture PJs space. some room lights not walking . no mineral water display to us (it was in the fridge) , lift to lobby and room is too slow and only 1 lift. carpet is old and looks dirty . room is dim .

Good and affordable hotel at dongmen station

Near to dongmen station. Facilities was adequate and staff were friendly.

Can consider giving enough supplies for long stays like towels/coffee

4 stars Quarantine Performance hotel costs occupant a bit more.

Breakfast has more varieties. Location is with multiple amenities.

I hope a closet is fit in the room. The rate of room can be much competitive as the similar facilities.
