it was full of character and exactly as viewed online
Nadine and Roger were wonderful hosts
The beds were difficult to get in and out of especially if you were next to the wall.
The shower was inadequate and need modernising. The need to pay extra for electricity is not acceptable, all costs should be included in the reservation price. Guests should not be responsible for end of stay cleaning.

location was good. beds excellent. property was clean
much smaller than expected. washing up facilities in rear not kitchen. toilet extremely cramped. obsession with electric meter. answerphone response not very welcoming. arrived early evening. not even a tea bag had to buy from local cafe which was just closing.

We love Gorran Haven and the property was in the middle very near the beach and had all we needed for our 2 week stay.
Only the weather…

No breakfast. Good location
Very claustrophobic and cramped bedroom. Ridiculous electricity payment on top of rent. Overall antiquated feel to the whole property.

It had off road parking, a nice garden with a view of the sea. Inside it was very well equipped and clean with comfortable beds. Clean bedding, towels, tea towels etc were provided. It had good cooking and laundry facilities and detailed user guides. There was WiFi. It was very close to the beach and also to a nice hotel where one could get food and drinks, as a non resident. Our daughter was allowed to park in the drive when she visited one day which was nice.
The property was very cramped with too much unnecessary, large furniture eg. a big bookcase and sideboard. It was cluttered and fussy with way too many pictures on the walls. The open, steep staircase to get to the bedroom was precarious, one could easily fall or bang ones head, especially if one needed to use the toilet during the night, as this was downstairs. The bathroom was very tiny and one had to squeeze round the wash basin to get to the toilet. The two beds were pushed together against the wall making it difficult for one person to get out of bed. There was a list of rules for cleaning eg. empty crumbs out of the toaster, vacuum rugs, don’t sweep dirt under the rugs, remove all fluff from under the beds etc. Also, having to hand over £50 cash upon arrival, returnable after inspection of one’s cleaning efforts and lack of breakages upon leaving, made us feel under pressure, not a relaxed holiday vibe at all. Overall the property needed a revamp, which could be easily achieved without going to great expense.

Well thought out for a relatively confined space. Comfy beds!

Pretty much every thing! I was wanting somewhere that was cosy and comfortable, where I could sit outside if the weather allowed, close to the sea and access to walking paths and that’s exactly what I got here. The cottage kitchen was very well kitted out, with no shortage of cooking utensils, comfortable beds and plenty of interesting books to read. Loved being able to sit on the windowsill in the bedroom and see the sea. I highly recommend this cottage!

Was a perfect location for us, in a quiet fishing village on the south west coast path. The cottage was a lovely old building that was cosy with furnishings to match. It had everything we needed, a modern functioning kitchen area, wifi, tv etc. and comfortable beds, the bedroom has a sea view. The friendly owners were on site if you needed anything.
The shower could have been better, it was low down and you have to hold it over you. You have to put £1 coins into a meter for electricity. Though it didn't cost much it was a bit of a pain in these contactless times and a bit outdated. You are required to clean the property before you leave or lose your deposit, would be useful if there were some cleaning products.
