Great day with my wife in a beautiful location.

The food and staff service were great. Lynn and I were lucky enough to get Sipho again as our game ranger. He is very knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable.

For some reason our beds were not turned down on both nights. The staff knocked on the door both nights after we had retired to bed. This is not a big issue but is odd and inconsistent with our last visit. We brought it to the attention of the manager.

The staff are incredible and the surroundings are beautiful. The rooms are elegantly furnished.

There was a school trip, 50 teenage boys staying at the lodge. Breakfast and the braai were loud and chaotic as a result. This definitely did not create a relaxing elegant atmosphere.

The room and beautiful views

The food menu. The menu at the restaurant is Ala carte for all meals and options are really not inclusive. The restaurant isn’t really a restaurant( just a serving area) because they can’t serve any other food at other times of the day if it’s not during breakfast, lunch or dinner time. This should be stated

The food and location to the park was outstanding. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable.

It would have been lovely to see into the park from the balconies.

A lovely break away close to Joburg

Wow, Ivory Tree is just wow, the a la Carte menu was never the same and had a variety to suite everyones needs, the same with breakfast. The staff was very friendly and always there to assist. The Game rangers were friendly and very informative. The rooms are clean and always smell fresh.

a fantastic stay but slightly over priced

Great rooms and food, game drives were decent but was a shame not to be able to go off road and was a bit crowded. The lodge is very big

Seeing as the lodge is very big I feel that they could bring down their price slightly

It is the perfect place to relax. The room was awesome, the staff great, the food really nice and the SPA a great experience

Our ranger was on his first month in park and seemed quite inexperienced. We were the only one not seeing Leopards and we only saw Lions by far away. Some other people we know and talked to in the same days saw everything easily

Wonderful staff, place and games. Will come back!!!

We loved everything at Ivory Tree lodge. All from breakfast, game driving (our Ranger was the best!), lunch, pool and area, room, AC, bathtub, dinners, drinks and not forget the staff, always helpful and smiling. Had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!!

Nothing that we didn't like, but a shower in the room would be a plus as we had some cold temperatures and it was not so inviting to go outside for a shower....

A great getaway holiday.

The game drives were great and the location of the property in proximity to the park is excellent. The staff is super friendly and kind. The animal sightings in the park are second to none, we saw all of the big 5 almost daily. The rooms are comfortable and the property has a generator

The food options can be a hit or miss daily, especially the lunch and dinner options. Breakfast is great. In all honesty I would rate the lodge more of a 4 star than a 5 star.

Superb

Very organised game drives and very delicious food. Also the rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated! The staff is helpful and the rangers very knowledgable!

Unfortunately there were a lot of bees and flies around (also at the buffet). Perhaps some spraying or use of a repellent could work.

The food and the hospitality. The pap that was done after I requested. All the staff members were great and were helping with everything. They did a great job

The twice daily game drives were amazing. on top of that it’s a great place to relax and everything was beautifully taken care of.
