There were two couples traveling together and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The host was quick to answer any questions. We did have some mosquitoes in the evenings so be sure to have insect repellant. Overall this house was outstanding!

This is a beautiful and modern house in west Sedona. Communication with Robert was easy and prompt. All the required supplies were available. It is close to shopping places. The view of thunder mountain from the balcony is amazing. Overall a great place to stay in Sedona.

We love your beautiful home! Had a beautiful view. Great location. Definitely would love to stay here again!! Thank you!!

The location is great. The views are really beautiful. The space is well decorated and comfortable. There are two separate areas with a bedroom and a bathroom each.
There is a good size kitchen. Nice sitting spaces outside.
The host was a good communicator and very fast with responses. The check in and check out was seamless.
They give you a red rocks pass, which is great!
The only improvements could be better towels, better shampoo and conditioner (good bottles, but just soap in each, not shampoo or conditioner) and was fairly clean, but could have used a little more cleaning.
Overall, I would recommend it and I would stay there again. We had a great time with family.

The view was amazing. The house is cute, but I do agree with another review about the furniture. It is cute and colorful, but not comfortable. After a long day of hiking, this was not the furniture you want to sit and relax on. Other than that, the house is cute, in a nice area, and close to lots of things to do.

Sedona was the last stop on our 17 days of national parks. It was the perfect end to a wonderful time. The West Sedona home was comfortable, clean and had all the we needed to unwind and relax.

This is a very nice house in a quiet neighborhood minutes from downtown Sedona with a magical view! The pictures are reality. My adult son and I stayed here for a few days in April. We spent most of our time on the patio that had a very good view of the mountains and a fireplace for the chilly evenings. The layout is a bit unusual. There are two bedrooms upstairs which share the master bathroom and a third bedroom downstairs with a common bathroom and a den area. So, the people staying upstairs need to like to share a bathroom! The kitchen was well stocked, ample paper products and a full size washer and dryer. The owner likes to email and text you directly to check on you.

We visited Sedona over spring break. The Javelina House had excellent views and was relatively close to uptown. Overall the property was very clean and well stocked in terms of the kitchen, toiletries, and laundry. You can’t go wrong with this property.

Very nice place, just off the main road through W. Sedona, but very quiet. Beautiful views from deck and patio. Very comfy beds. Property manager active in ensuring we had a great stay. Accomplished!

The Javalina House was a very nice place to stay. The views were outstanding, the fireplace(s) warm and inviting. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped for the breakfasts we cooked there. For such a nice home and in this price range, the furniture in the common areas could use a significant upgrade; for example, seating was not particularly comfortable, and the arrangement of furniture was odd, at best, and somewhat inconvenient.

During a chilly winter stay in Sedona, we had excellent views of the surroundings throughout the house and enjoyed the indoor fireplace.
The location was also in very close proximity to some of our plans (Sedona New Day Spa, breakfast at Coffee Pot Restaurant, Verde Valley wine region, and Cultural Park Pl for stargazing).
There were some inconveniences in that the person cleaning and restocking the house between visitors doesn't seem to really pay attention to what needs restocked, such as toilet paper in the main bathroom, coffee and coffee supplies, functioning lighter for the outdoor fireplace, etc. I was able to eventually hunt down what I needed or contact the host for a quick response, but going forward this is something that can be easily addressed for the subsequent guests.

The property was gorgeous. We loved our stay in Sedona. Especially loved the outdoor fireplace and grill. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit out there for very long. Close drive and o everything

Great location, comfortable mattress. Red rock pass and snacks are a nice touch. Ceiling fans were loud, walls were scuffed, Carpets were wet and stank, but the landlord said they were cleaned the day before we came and the whole home had a horrid mildew smell. The garage is filled with junk and very unclean, all the dishes were dirty upon arrival. The patio deck paint is peeling and sticks to everything. Not as nice as we were expecting based off the ad. Basement is HOT had to use the box fan in the closet. Cannot set temp below 72

The owner was in touch with us throughout the stay, the views are incredible, and the house is clean. It’s tucked away in a cute neighborhood just a few minutes from the downtown area and other shopping.
We had 4 adults - 2 couples - and it was perfect. It’s nice to be able to cook at the house so you don’t have to eat out for every meal. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. We were traveling with our adult son so the house gave us plenty of space. The view out the porch & patios was beautiful. The host was attentive to any text we sent. House was clean and amenities were great. Especially the detergents/ soaps and even the snacks on the dining table. We would definitely stay here again.

The vast comfortable rooms and furnishings were configured to take advantage of the spectacular views, in a relaxing, peaceful setting. Early morning coffee on the deck off the master, inhaling the view, listening to birds chirp and seeing a cottontail hop up the road, was a moment of self care that should not be missed. Our family will be back.

Great home. Owner was an excellent communicator. Had lots of nice touches for convenience in the house. We actually saw a Javelina wonder by which is the name of the property. Beautiful mountain views. Lots of outdoor seating areas (as pictured). Convenient location to downtown Sedona.

House was in great location with beautiful views. Beds were great. Would have liked tv upstairs. Few spots on carpet. Furniture a little worn in living room. We would stay there again.

We visited Sedona with one other couple to celebrate our anniversary. Not only was the owner was very helpful, the house was very clean and well equipped. We also had an excellent view of Thunder Mountain, which we enjoyed over coffee and wine! Plenty of restaurants nearby, and not too far away from uptown Sedona and great hikes.

Exactly as advertised. Incredible location. Clean. Zero issues. Would stay here again, in a heartbeat Our only small suggestion to the owner is to add a handrail to the outside steps, leading up to the main entrance.

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Javelina House! Robert was a wonderful host, and gave us prompt and accurate information regarding our stay. We LOVED the location of the home, super views and easy access to all we wanted to see in Sedona. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom made the place feel cozy and relaxing. I recommend this rental property for anyone seeking a relaxing and comfortable stay in Sedona! Thank you!
10.0 / 10.0
I traveled to Sedona with my kids (ages 25, 16, 14, 8) for Spring Break and we wanted a house that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the full Sedona aesthetic, and the Javelina house did just that! The home was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. We were able to cook all of our meals in the fully stocked kitchen and do our laundry on the days when we returned covered in dust and mud from our hikes.
The location was perfect and we were within about 15 minutes of every place we visited while in Sedona. Communication from the host was very thorough.
It is worth noting that the house is two stories (which I don't think was mentioned in the description). That was fine for us, but it could be an accessibility issue for others if that are not aware of that when they book it.
Overall, we were so pleased with our stay at the Javelina House and highly recommend it!
