An oceanfront cottage as cozy as a duck's down feathers, “Duck Down” is a perfect spot for families that want to bond and enjoy easy oceanfront access to the beach. This 5 bedroom, 3 bath house includes a hot tub and dog-friendly fenced yard (including a shaded area under the house). Amazing ocean views await you from the great room and decking. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. A huge dining table has room for everyone, big or small, all at the table together for meals! There are actually two walkways all the way to the spacious dune top deck and steps to the beach, one for each level. “Duck Downs” is furnished with tasteful coastal décor and appointments, pleasing to the eye for discriminating taste without losing the charm of a traditional Duck beach cottage. Look forward to long, lazy beach days, evening relaxing in the hot tub, or playing with the kids on the beach or in the yard (with Fido, of course!). The kids will love the loft area just for them, accessed with a ladder, with an LCD TV for games and movies.
Located in Bayberry Bluffs, in the heart of downtown Duck, you are within walking distance to everything! Imagine leisurely strolls down the waterfront boardwalk, yoga on the green, walking to restaurants and all the local hangouts, shopping, and sightseeing…it is all conveniently yours at “Duck Downs”.
Top-Level: Living Room with 60" TV, and Dunetop Deck Access; Loft (accessible by ladder) with TV; Dining Room with Table (seats 12); Kitchen with Bar (seats 3); Blender, Coffee Maker (Drip & Keurig), Dishwasher, Microwave, Oven/Stove, Refrigerator, Toaster, Pots, Pans, Dishes, and Cooking Essentials; King Bedroom with TV, Deck Access, and Access to Hall Full Bathroom.
Mid-Level: King Bedroom with TV and Deck Access; King Bedroom with TV and Deck Access; Bedroom with 2 Bunk Beds and TV; Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and TV; Hall Full Bathroom; Hall Full Bathroom; Laundry Room.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.
