Location is great, the guests were okey.
They had issues with the key; everything was solved, but it happened a couple of times in 3 days.
The taxi was arranged by the property when I thought it was arranged by booking.com. I guess that was my issue, but I definitely did not like the attitude of the person answering the phone. The way she talked to me was arrogant and with no manners.

great light open space with a good sized kitchen next to a well lit dining room table to eat at. good sized living room.
no smart tv so bring an hdmi cable and a laptop to watch tv.

location and size just what we wanted, clean, warm and welcoming host
About a month before staying, the final balance was paid - the booking information page requested me to update names of our group which I did and was suddenly charged a further €90+ without warning - Booking.com did not respond to my messages about this even when I raised a complaint - there was no reply at all. I still do not know why I was charged - basically felt like a rip off and the property we were staying at said it was up booking.com to sort it out and not them.
On our last day the electronic key card for the doors stopped working (before check out time) as we returned to the apartment to collect our packed bags for our taxi to the airport. The house management group sent a host to sort it out but we had to wait half an hour and explain to our very patient taxi driver what the problem was.

The apartment is really spacious and in one of Amsterdam's top locations. As you can see from the pictures it is fitted with nice furniture and a nice kitchen. The bathroom was up to the new standard in design. The two rooms can fit 2+3 persons and the couch could be transformed in a bed for 1-2 more people. Out of the two balconies, one is locked (security reasons) and faces some internal building areas, the smaller one instead offers a great view over the street where you can appreciate Amsterdam's quiet, slow-paced city life.
Although I completely understand the point of view of the host, keep in mind that a 500€ deposit is requested in advance.

The place is located very conveniently and all and all is a nice apt. Can use some more equipment in the kitchen for a party of 6.
We had the apt. booked for 4 days for 6 people beginning Friday at 15:00. When we entered the place was disgusting. There was leftover food, dirty clothes and toiletries around the house. They never cleaned from the previous guests! A drawer in the kitchen was broken. This was aside from the fact that long before we made sure there is a gas stove and was told there was while there wasn't. Even a few hours before we arrived I asked again and again and they miss led us again. The situation was disasters for us as we keep the Sabbath and came from afar in order to prepare our Sabbath meal. Most of the staff were very nice about the situation and the place was ready at18:00, but we had to instruct the cleaning staff who were not very understanding or pleasant and go buy prepared food. Nobody took responsibility for this and we were compensated with what we felt was an extremely low sum and the place ignored my requests for a more reasonable sum (I thought we should get back the cost of the first out of 4 nights they did not even give us close to half of that) I'll ad photos of the apt. as it appeared when we walked in:

The location is great
You have to put down a deposit which we had issues as I was being charged by the management company for the PayPal fees, PayPal resolved the issue. I felt this was poorly managed generally.
The patient was quite tired and basic
There were mouse traps all over the apartment

Very nice appartment, well situated and very nice and helpful staff
