Ocean View near to Cochin International Airport

Rented room for shower and sleep for 5 hours prior to late night international flight, excellent chickpea curry and chapati for afternoon meal, taxi arranged for airport.

Exceptional

Overall a fantastic night spent in ocean stay. The owner is very helpful in providing advice in travel and activities. Room was very comfortable and clean with great facilities including an indoor and outdoor seating area. Breakfast was extremely tasty and in a Keralan style. Highly recommend this homestay and the location is perfect for the airport and local train stations.

Very nice man, help in everything you need and a very good place to stay if you are waiting for your flight.

It's very close to the airport so there's a lot of airplane noise.

Good to be able to put the car inside the gates. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

We didn’t have breakfast due to a very early start. We liked that the owner kindly made us tea on arrival. The terrace to sit out and chat was lovely.

I didn’t like the smaller bathroom as there was no sink. Very strange. Neither was there s rubbish bin which seemed strange to me. I didn’t have the shower that I was looking forward to before flying home because the little bathroom would have been awash with no mop to dry the floor.

Fine place to stay the night before a flight

Clean rooms, very close to airport. Owner is nice and helpful

The bathroom doesn’t have a sink and the sink is shared between 2-3 rooms. Fine for one night but would be very inconvenient had we stayed longer. We had a total of 5 rooms, only 2 of which had a working AC. When we inquired about the AC in the others, owner said we had not paid for AC in those rooms (even though there is an AC there). It was too late and we were only there for one night so we didn’t get into it, but I couldn’t find any info on the AC in the descriptions for the rooms I booked. Such things should be made clear.

The owner of the place is extra nice, he even gave a nice cup of coffee in the morning, Highly recommended place to stay.

goood place near the airport

Close to airport, riksha is only 150 rupe. internet connection is fast. nice balcony and rooftop. several restaurants with local food are in the area.

Avoid even if offered free of cost

Zilch. Nada. Nothing.

Host has no regard for privacy, kept walking around the house inspite of being told family is asleep. He doesn't even ask permission to enter! Finally my wife had to ask him to leave. Shameless cheapskate. The house is being run on a small inverter. We ran out of power at 3am with just two fans and one LED light on. We were told that KSEB supply was down. After 4.5 hours wait, did some investigation as lights were on in the surroundings and found the main supply input switch inside the house was switched off. On being asked host denied and went down to switch off a toggle he has downstairs to "prove" there is no power supply. We toggled back switch inside the house and power came back on. There were ants on the bed!

Great value for money. Owner is extremely helpful. Its a homestay with its plus / minus

Owner is extremely resourceful & helpful. Pick-up,, drop to airport taken care by the owner himself. He arranged for a quick lunch and also we had a chance for home cooked food for dinner

Location is slightly off. Dependency on owner to call for some form of transport. Its more of a home-stay than a hotel. Blankets should be wrapped in white sheets.

I strongly suggest the people who want to explore cochin and thrissur must visit this home stay....Me and my wife really had an awesome time there. Awesome service by the provider...just amazing

One of the best plac around Cochin airport for a homely stay.

Location was exactly like what I wished ..it was calm n quiet from the hassles of the city.. was able to take a good nap.. To mention about the host - Sony was remarkably helpful. Right from the time I landed in Cochin he was tracking n guiding me with inputs that helped me a lot.. His attitude and care towards the guests is something that needs to be appreciated.. Food they provided was also good - felt like home. The stay was worth the money I spent.. Will definitely recommend this place..

My stay was quiet short so nothing much on this section.

The owner Nikhil is a great guy. Ready to help even by going out of the way. The network he and his team creates instantly is something very unique and effective

There is not much bad about the property as it’s a bag packers stay. But they should update their location on maps

a simple home stay, bit inside residential area but i liked the location. very near to cochin airport, they arranged homemade lunch which was quite good.
