The indoor space was clean and efficient. We found everything we needed. Loved the natural setting outdoor space with numerous birds , animals and the turtles did not disappoint! Very pleasant short walk to the beach. I would definately come back again!

Nice and cosy property, very convenient. Adjacent to a marsh, which makes for great bird watching. The house has all the amenities. Just a short walk to the beach. Joel was a very pleasant host, made sure everything was ok.

We enjoyed staying in this cute two bedroom unit. The view of the marsh and the ducks in the morning are great.

This was our first time to Maine and this property was the best place to land. The property was more than we expected and Joel and Jayne were just great. I would highly recommend a stay at this property. Thanks

Joel and Jane’s place is in a great location, love ocean park and a short walk to the beach. Super clean, well sucked and comfortable.

This place was great! We were lucky enough to get this rental because of a cancellation. My husband & I & our 3 kids (17, 13 & 10) loved staying here! Pros: Joel welcomed us & gave us lots of tips about favorite restaurants & ice cream places & was happy to help with any of our questions during our stay. The location by the marsh is so relaxing & enjoyable. We loved watching the birds, including ducks & egrets, squirrels, chipmunks & even a muskrat swimming in the edge of the marsh. The location is very peaceful compared to the Old Orchard Beach strip which was very congested & populated. It’s close enough to enjoy the activities & restaurants, but far enough away to avoid the noise. We had never been to OOB & we felt lucky that we didn’t rent a place in the busy area. A very easy walk to the beach. Beach was not super busy & the packed sand was great for walking when the tide was out. Kids loved playing & swimming.. House was very clean & had all the amenities we needed. Cons: Heard noise from upstairs guests. I’m very sensitive to noise like that & there were a lot of ppl upstairs & they seemed to be home when we were. It didn’t bother the others in my family. Wouldn’t keep us from returning.

We had best beach experience. Just one block away. The house was clean and the owner was great and helpful. The house had all utilities like kitchen utensils, variety coffee machines, towels ,air condition,laundry etc. The only things that was not provided was shampoo, body wash and no condiments in kitchen which may be coz of covid. I only mention this bcos we were provided all these things at other places we have visited . Otherwise we really enjoyed staying here.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in Ocean Park at this beautiful property. We were there for 4 days with our 4 kids and they had a blast scoping out all the animals that came and went daily from the marsh. We were just a few minute walk to the beach and made numerous trips there every day due to its proximity and ease of access. The home was clean, well equipped with necessities and the owners were lovely and helpful with everything we needed. We hope to return to this lovely spot in the future!

We live in Maine and did not want to go far and I had lived in the area years ago. Joel snd Jane are great hosts—very kind snd responsive. The place is beautiful and quiet—we had a “front seat” indoors (on enclosed porches) or outdoors (on the brookside stone patio) to watch birds, ducks, turtles and other fauna. The unit is exceptionally clean; beautifully decorated; and well appointed—plenty of plates, pots, flatware etc.; well lit; close to beach. We all loved the place and hosts are great. We’ll be back!

Ocean Park Rental Stayed three weeks in May at this lovely, exceptional 2bed/2bath rental in Old Orchard Beach. Grounds are beautifully kept by these caring and attentive owners who are justifiably proud of this special property. Serene setting on the edge of a marsh with lots of shade and places to watch the ducks and turtles and various birds that enjoy the many feeders. Flowering plants are abundant and beautiful! Two blocks from the beach and just far enough away from the center of town to allow for a relaxing escape, yet convenient to everything. The unit was well furnished and extremely clean. Bedrooms were spacious with plenty of closet space. The kitchen was equipped with every convenience, plus plenty of beautiful plates, cups, silverware, etc. Full size refrigerator and dishwasher and full size washer and dryer. Not one but TWO private screen porches!You would be hard pressed to find a more comfortable, well kept rental in this area. Looking forward to our next visit!

The house is just like the pictures. It is clean and neat. Plenty of room for the 3 adults in the 2 bedroom bottom unit. I loved that it has 2 bathrooms. The house is 5 minutes from the beach. Jane and Joel are great host. We would definitely rent this house again!Wanda and Joe

We booked only two weeks ahead due to COVID, and are thankful this property was available. We had a great stay and hope to return in the future! (Quite possibly with extended family to rent the upper and lower units together.) We enjoyed being at the property just as much as the beach. The setting is so peaceful, and it was nice to have so many options for sitting outside. We had several meals outside at one of the three table areas available to us, and even needed two of the tables one time when family stopped for lunch. My kids loved the "secret path" around the houses, and we loved discovering all of the different adornments/statues hidden all around. We even found more after dark than during the daylight! Kids were excited about the marsh visitors (turtles and little fish), and we loved all the birds flitting about. We had everything we needed for meal prep and serving, and wish we had hosted a big lobster dinner for family while we were there. Joel and Jane were great, available for anything if needed, even just a quick tour of the garden at night :) The only thing we really missed was a place to hang wet towels and suits for 5 of us, but will bring a collapsible dry rack next time as there is plenty of space to accommodate one on the second porch. This is a great place!

We loved everything about this place! The layout and amount of space, the fully stocked kitchen, the double screened-in porches, the flat screen tv's in each room, the comfy new beds, the ideal location to the beach beat all our expectations! We really loved waking up to the beautiful view of the marshes whether enjoyed from our porch or the adirondack chairs and eating all of our meals outside on the stone patio. We took most of Joel's suggestions for places to try out and we really loved the soda fountain and the cinnamon rolls were the best we've ever had! They were wonderful hosts, very responsive and helpful. They really thought of everything in decorating and stocking this rental. We're so glad we found this gem!
