Fantastisch!! Lapland is winter wonderland!

Echt van alle gemakken voorzien! Prachtige ligging! Vriendelijke eigenaar! Heel veel te doen in de omgeving. Een huurauto is handig. Super vakantie gehad!!

Mesebeli környezet, szíves vendéglátás, kényelmes, otthonos szálláshely!

Minden tetszett!! Csodálatos napokat töltöttünk itt. Csak szuper dolgokat tudok írni. A szállás nagyon hangulatos volt, gyertyák minden helységben (nem igaziból égtek, elemmel működtek, így biztonságos volt)), pihe puha takarók, meleg hőmérséklet. Extra nagy szárítógép, ruháknak, cipőknek, így nem kellett azon bosszankodnunk, ha vizes lett valami, mert hamar újból felvehettük. A konyha mindennel felszerelt, minőségi konyhai eszközökkel volt ellátva. Az ágyak nagyon kényelmesek voltak, a takarók, párnák, huzatok szintén a legjobb minőségben. WIFI kiváló, tágas terek, volt hely mindennek, a szauna szuper. 5-en voltunk, mindig volt melegvíz, nem szenvedtünk semmiben hiányt. :) Gratulálok ehhez, hiszen az otthoni megszokott kényelem egyáltalán nem hiányzott. Reggeli közben a konyhaablakból nyomon követhettük, ahogy a mókusok és a madarak élelemre vadásznak. A kislányom azt mondta, ha lehetne 1000 csillagot adna erre a szállásra. :) A szállásadó Markuu nagyon kedvesen fogadott bennünket és segítségünkre volt mindenben. pl: Hol lehet bevásárolni, hol láthatjuk az aurorát (az apartman közelében is volt ideális hely), milyen programokra érdemes elmenni. Az apartman elhelyezkedése is ideális, nyugodt, csendes. Egy hangulatos erdőben található, igazán mesebeli . A kertben csúszódomb, tűzrakóhely (ennek kipróbálásában is számíthattunk Markuu segítségére). Mi autót béreltünk, így hamar eljutottunk mindenhova. A sétaközelben található husky és rénszarvasfarm, melynek szintén klassz volt a programja. Ha Rovenijemibe készülsz, tiszta szívvel ajánlom!!!!

Awesome - surrounded by nature, with visits from local wildlife like birds, squirrels, and reindeer.

Perfectly situated . The host's warmth and hospitality make you feel right at home in this winter wonderland. If you can get a spot at this property you will not be sorry. The residence exudes a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a unique and memorable experience near Santa's headquarters

The apartment was a great base of operations for our trip to Rovaniemi. Hidden gem!

The apartment fully exceeded every expectation that we had. The property is located just a short ways outside of town to feel like you are experiencing the countryside but close enough to feel very convenient to go into town. Our experience with our host was also excellent. Everything that we requested from the host Markku was provided and the service went above and beyond. Easy aurora viewing behind the home and the ability to walk to the husky/reindeer farm nearby make this a very ideal location for anyone looking to visit Rovaniemi.

Couldn’t be better!

We liked everything! it has everything you need and it’s all very comfortable and warm! also the fact that it has some products to start off, we liked, as it’s not always the case. it has tea, coffee, toilet paper, salt, oil… and lots more. Things you normally don’t want to buy for a short period. Markku, the owner lives next door and is very nice and helpful. It is also walking distance to a Husky/Reindeer farm. But without the inconvenience. Also, the spectacle from the squirrels and the birds every morning in front of the kitchen window is worth the money on itself. 6 star rating, if I could.

if you don’t have your own transportation it can be a bit difficult to get there. But if you have transportation, it’s even better as it’s calm, peaceful and safe!

Idealy located Apartment to give a feeling of staying locally

The apartment semi detachable row house is about 12 kms from Rovenami city center . Away from the hustel bustel of Rovenami. Its most idealy located to give a feeling of staying locally .

A week stay is too short , did not like leaving the apartment after a week stay .

Everything was perfect!

Kuurala is the perfect destination for a family going to Lapland. Perfectly equipped, in the nature, convenient location and a perfect host. thanks Markus and your family for everything. Being your gests was one of our highlights

The best first abroad holiday our little one could have hoped for.

The hosts were amazing, the location perfect and so quiet and relaxing. The property is close to Santa village and the airport. Everything was in fantastic condition in the property. Marko was one of the nicest hosts we had ever met.

Nothing whatsoever. Maybe some capercaillie from the bedroom window - no seriously we wouldn’t have changed anything.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Rovaniemi, spending 3 nights at Kuurala which was just the perfect base

Lovely light, clean and airy property. Well furnished. The play area outside was fantastic, our kids loved sledding down the small hill and spent hours out there. The large drying machine was a really great (and necessary) appliance in the property. Markku was a wonderful host and we wish we’d had longer at the property. The property has 2 bedrooms plus an occasional bed in the open plan kitchen/diner (no door) and a fold away bed in the store room/area. There was plenty of room for 6 of us. There is a sauna but as we were out all day until very late we didn’t get chance to use it. The property is 20 minutes taxi ride from the city centre costing about €50 which is quite expensive compared to UK standards but as a party of 6 a hire car was over €250 a day making a return taxi the cheaper option. Airport to the property around €30. We booked all our tours with Nordic Unique Tours who we highly recommend. We did husky & reindeer rides, snowmobile ride and of course visited Santa at Santa village. We also had a full day trip out to the arctic zoo and an evening bbq/northern lights which was fantastic. Husky and Reindeer Rides are actually in a farm right next to this property and you can book directly with them.

Nothing! A second toilet would have been useful as there was always a long queue for the one toilet each morning.

Snow holiday with a toddler

Spacious. It is very close to Santa Village, 5min drive by car. It has a big own garden with sledges provided. Sauna very hot and excellent after cold day. Two very big bedrooms and a big kitchen to accommodate a toddler.

Great place to stay close to Rovaniemi

Everything was perfect and as expected based on the previous evaluations. The flat was very nice, comfortable and clean. The playground and sledges in front of the house were very appreciated by our kids. Markku is a great host, very pationated about nature and Lapland. We can highly recommend this place.

Amazing winter holiday

13 - 17 Dec 2019 - We immensely enjoyed our stay at Kuurala Apartment. Markku and family were really great host. Their warmth and exceptionally hospitality made us feel at home. Their apartment is super clean, spacious and lots of fun things for the kids to play in the snow (sledge and manual snowmobile). We enjoyed cool snowy campfire outside the apartment and they even brought us for Ice Fishing at nearby frozen lake. We will definitely be back with our parents, next year hopefully. This trip has been one of our best holidays. Thank you very much Markku and family..
