About this house rental

The location on the edge of the Jamison Valley, the abundance of trees, proximity to waterfall and distance from neighbours make this a particularly restful retreat. 25 mins walk to station.

Recent renovations mean that there is lots of sunlight in the living area. The main bathroom has been redesigned to allow three people to use it. There is a second separate shower and toilet.

Ideal for large groups, with extra beds available on request. Small groups will find it attractive, too with the base price starting at 7 people.

5x bedrooms plus one atrium

2x bathrooms with 2 showers, plus one bath with shower over

2x separate toilets.

Modern open plan kitchen/dining and living areas.

Large table in courtyard.

Wentworth Haven is in a good location. It borders on the bush with a bit of a view and a short walk to the falls in one direction and the conservation hut in the other so it feels like you're really in the mountains. We were only 4 adults for a weekend but we enjoyed each having our own good sized room and double/queen sized bed in this 5 bedroom house. It was a freezing weekend with icy winds blowing outside so we really appreciated the very effective central heating, plenty of sofas and a good stove and oven! Alison JUNE 2014

We had a lovely weekend stay with family for my mother's 80th birthday. Plenty of bedrooms and we loved the electric blankets! The central heating was wonderful and it was a lovely cosy vibe. Great position for the walking trails. Thank you!

The owners really understand what guests need to have a relaxing and comfortable stay! These things may seem trivial, but as a large family, we appreciated things like different coloured towels, extra hooks to dry them out, lots of pillow options, lots of chairs to sit on, plenty of toilet paper, a well resourced kitchen (and extra dish washing tablets) and a couple of sets of keys! Outside the house, the kids had a blast playing cricket and Easter egg hunting. Loved the proximity to the look-outs. Thanks Eloise for a great stay.

The house was lovely, lots of light and heating worked well. There were 2 whole families, (minus 1 19 yr old )who stayed and there were plenty of options for them all to sleep. There was plenty of bedding and towels, although the towels are getting a bit tired! Great location , we had a really great weekend

Went to Blue Mountains for the UTA run festival. The house was a great location & comfortably housed 5 of us, each with own room. It was a very windy weekend & quite cold. Glad for heater & electric blankets. Walking distance to Wentworth Falls & quick drive 15 mins into Katoomba & Leura. Kitchen had many appliances, & Breakfast supplies were available, although weetbix was half opened. Linen was clean, although soap in shower would’ve been welcomed, we all forgot! Speaker system was for ipod pretty old & no cord so didn’t work. TV/Amp was a bit confusing so we decided not to watch, which was fine. Thoroughly recommend this location & accommodation. The hosts were extremely obliging especially when our race was cancelled & rescheduled and they contacted us to see if we wanted the new race dates, before opening up to others, very considerate! thanks we’d all come back again.

Great place amongst the trees very quiet with ample room for my family and friends. Central heating and electric heating which made it very comfortable. Gas cooking and pretty much everything you need to cater for everyone. We loved it and when we are able to get together again this is the home 🏡 we would love to stay in.

When I walked into this house there was a very strong musty smell. The house had not been cleaned very well and feels cluttered. It is a lovely old house but just needs some care and attention. There were some things missing in the kitchen eg water jug, plastic plates for the kids.

The location is perfect - you can walk to the train station and the falls, but it is secluded and surrounded by trees, with a boundary to the national park. The approach is along a very picturesque lane, so you really feel you have got away from the city and suburbs. The house has character. It is spacious and the kitchen very well equipped, the beds are comfortable, there are lots of spare doonas. The central heating warms the house very quickly, Altogether a very pleasant place to stay, particularly in a diverse group like ours. Eloise was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

On entering the house it smelt very musty. The linen was clean but old and needed updating. Outside entertaining table had food debris from previous occupants & windows, doors etc were covered in cobwebs & spider webs. Too many beds crammed into house. Lounge suite needs replacing or a good clean. Bathrooms and kitchen clean. Shame because excellent location.

We stayed in this property in early November with my family, we loved the bush feel of the property. It was just beautiful looking out that window by the sitting area in the morning. The was big enough for us all and did not feel cramped, I felt everything we needed was available and short walk to the water falls which was also beautiful.Wish we had stayed longer, thank you.

We sorted out our sleeping areas and relaxed the first night as I had already prepared food for dinner from home.The following day, after a barbecue brunch cooked at the house, was packed with sight seeing - Echo Point three sisters, Wentworth Falls and nearby lake where the kids had a swim and us adults cooled off our feet. A beautiful area and the weather was perfect. That night dinner at the local hotel, Wentworth Falls Hotel on the highway. A very tasty meal and a big room all to ourselves. The last day we had booked into scenic world which was the highlight of the kids holiday. We had a very enjoyable time The house, booked through Stayz, was equipped with everything you would need. Most impressed thank you.

A very relaxed place to stay in a terrific location especially if you enjoy bush walks. Well equipped kitchen and it is fantastic to have linen provided at no extra charge. Makes for a very easy weekend escape from Sydney.
