Bruyant !!

L'emplacement est top , le personnel aussi , notamment Elena qui nous a accueilli. Le petit déjeuner copieux

Très très très bruyant ! Du bruit toute la nuit c'était franchement abusé. Nous n'y reviendrons pas .

it was okay.

The receptionist was very welcoming and informative. The food of the breakfast was really really fresh and good, i loved it and the terrace was just amazing. The location was very good, as expected around the ocean.

The person in the restaurant didn't like us ordering coffee only he did such a face with an attitude. The taste of the juices were not great - undrinkable. The bed was meant to be double bed but instead it was 2 single mattresses which were not very comfortable and the room smelled of cigarettes.

Small hotel in Great Location

Perfect location close to center of town, restaurants, the beach and the funicular to upper Taormina and the historic amphitheater. The staff was very friendly.

I was disappointed that our only view was the back of other buildings, not what I expected. The Breakfast, which we added on for convenience, could be improved.

Nice location, clean rooms

Great location, 3 min to the cable car which goes to the old town up on the hills and 8 mins walk away to the famous beach. Room and bathroom was clean and decent. We got a nice sea view from the balcony. A nice restaurant with a view located in the hotel so you might try. Breakfast was only €8 which was sufficient.

We didn’t know that we needed to pre book the private parking area, they need to ask to the customer as soon as a booking in place. In One of the rooms we booked with the friends, there was an insect found. I believe this is due to that rooms are located in a garden like area and it is not because of the rooms were unclean or so, however, still better to know if you are super afraid of insects. While some of the staff were so kind, some especially the waiters who work in the restaurant side left us with an unwanted feeling both during the drinks and breakfast.

Exceptional

The accommodation is really very close to the beach, about 2 minutes :) At the same time, it is also close to the cable car, which is also great. We loved the view and the terrace :) They cleaned thoroughly every day.

Overall, we got what we were looking for. We were looking for a nice accommodation with breakfast close to the beach and this is what we got. Maybe I could improve the breakfast menu. It is true that there is everything, but somehow the selection is still minimal.

Lovely little hotel in Taormina. Traffic in Taormina is awful, be prepared! Nowhere to park but the hotel offered a parking for 15 euro/day which is OK for Taormina. The staff of the hotel was lovely and so accommodating. Thanks to Angelique and Elena we had a wonderful stay, can’t complement them enough!

The location is excellent. Walking distance to the water, cable car, bus, train. The view from the terrace in the hotel common area is great.

If you’re driving access to the property is difficult, That is something you will find anywhere in Taormina not just this hotel.

This is where I will stay when I return to Taormina

Located close to Mazzaro beach, there are lovely views from the hotel. A short walk to the gondola which takes you to the town centre. The restaurant at the hotel was fantastic with some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. A nice variety for breakfast. BEST of all was the staff throughout, especially in reception and the restaurant. Our room was lovely with a great bed, beautiful linen and bathroom. A little terrace outside to sit for a drink or read. I hope we can go back to stay one day.

If you want to visit Taormina and not spend a fortune on lodging, try this delightful place.

The location, comfort and value. Sure, the place is aging (quite gracefully), and the room was smallish, but the Hotel V G suited us perfectly. If you want a more modern place, you’ll have to pay a lot more. We enjoyed very much being in the “lower” (seaside) town. The cable-car to the upper town was a winner, making that trip up so easy.

Parking is challenging and tight (as it is everywhere in Taormina). But they have some onsite spaces.

I think it was a bit overpriced, but I suppose that has to do with the proximity to the beach.

The reception lady was very nice and friendly Location was good near the cable car to Taormina and the beach.

It was very noisy, which woke us up three times. First at 1.30am, then at 4am and again at 7.30am., I think it was a rubbish truck collection point right next to our room. Room needs some TLC, very basic.

Affordable and comfortable hotel in Taormina/Mazzaro!

The hotel is perfect for solo travelers - you can easily reach it by public transportation and by car too. It is also perfectly located between Taormina itself and the beach. Funicular is 5 min walk; beach is also 5 min walk, isola Bella -10 min walk. Breakfasts are simple but fine. Staff is very very helpful and sweet, really appreciate their personal touch and care. Thanks a lot!

Some of the staff was very friendly And helpfull. Though the reality of the location didn’t match with the presentation on the site. we felt misled. At the reception, i reminded that we chose for a room with a view at the sea, once we were in the room that view was outside on the terrace, just above a bar/restaurant. The room was very small, extremely small bathroom, not a place to feel comfortable. we were thinking of staying there for a few days but we left the next day

location is great, and has nice views of the bay. staff were friendly and helpful.

the room we had was connecting to another room, which you could hear conversations and moving of furniture . buffet was poor selection at breakfast, which would of been ok if they kept on topping up which little food they had on offer. 2 out of 3 breakfasts lacked enough food for the guests, and had to ask for food

I really liked the location of the hotel - it is right next to the funicular to go up to Taormina center and also next to the beach. We had a room with the sea-facing terrace. Comfy beds and pleasant design of the room. breakfast was very good.

Bathroom was small and low pressure for the hot water, but it didn’t cause much trouble as we stayed only overnight.

Incredible view, beautiful facilities, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

The view was incredible. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even upgraded our room for the night because we were on our honeymoon :) The breakfast was excellent, too, and the beach is about a five-minute walk with stairs.

The location would be very convenient to reaching the town as long as the gondola is running. We were there off-season, so we had to drive into town, which is also fine as long as you have a car.

Exceptional

We stayed in taormina probably the last weekend of the season before everything closed Even though it was low season the service offered by hotel villino was exceptional. The rooms were neat and clean and the view from the window was beautiful. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the beach and the cable car to go to the city center of taormina. The staff was great, always cheerful and ready to help. We couldn't ask for a better stay
