We loved all the attention to details, extras and excellence of features in the home, everything was at a high level, with no expense spared.
There was nothing that you may need or want that wasn't provided, with an elevated standard.
Next level cleanliness and communication was second to none. Kellie was beyond wonderful.
Don't put your blinds down as the gardens are like a visual portal into paradise from all the windows through out the house, this was mesmerizing.
You feel like you are a million miles away from civilization where in fact you are minutes away from everything.
This property was intended to make our stay a very memorable one as we will come back again.

Great location, lovely pot belly for cold nights.

The house is spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and nicely done. The kitchen has plenty of crockery and equipment for cooking. The double bed was very comfy. A nice garden and outdoor veranda complete the picture. Easy access to walking trails and a nice walk into town too.

Stayed for two days and the place did not disappoint! The place goes above and beyond on the creature comforts and we had a relaxing stay there!

This is the 4th or 5th time that we have stayed at The Nook and we will be back again!
We love the heated floor in the ensuite + both bathrooms are recently renovated to a high standard. Love that they always have plenty of shower, laundry & dishwashing products - we don't have to worry about running out of dishwasher tablets or washing powder. The quality is good too - my daughter wants me to start buying the same shampoo and conditioner that they have! Kitchen is well equipped.
Love the fantastic garden with lots of trees and a bush feel despite being in Margaret River town. We walked into town for meals numerous times and rode to the mountain biking trailhead most days.
I accidentally broke something during our stay. Kelly could not have been more helpful with getting it repaired so we could use it again asap. It is lovely to stay somewhere with such understanding owners who really do try and make your stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
Can't wait to stay again!

An absolutely immaculate property both inside and out. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this accomodation.

Beautiful property, very peaceful setting. The home was incredibly clean. Views from the deck are stunning, we enjoyed eating, hanging out there and enjoying some local wine.
The only thing that I could fault is that the long weekend rates were not being reflected in the initial booking enquiry. I was emailed and told that because it was a long weekend the nightly rate would be higher that advertised. Just would have been nice to know this straight up. Other than this small issue, it was an amazing stay.

Love the location, good walking distance to town but far enough away from the busy Margaret River. A very clean and beautiful home away home suitable for a short of long term stay. We will definitely be back in the future.

A gorgeous property in a rural setting, but still walking distance to town. Fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. A very clean and cozy house the easily accommodated a family of 6 adults.

The Nook is a beautiful, spacious house with a lovely garden. Kellie has made sure that the property is equipped with everything needed for a stay. We stayed for over three weeks and all communication with Kellie was excellent - nothing is too much trouble for her. The log burner is great, beds have electric blankets for chilly Margaret River nights, and high quality toiletries are provided. The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home! Would definitely stay at The Nook again.

We spend 9 nights with a friend couple. Ideal combination between privacy: each couple in own room with own bathroom, and a big open kitchen for preparing meals together.
We enjoyed springtime in Margaret River, beautiful bird watching even from the veranda. To get back to the Nook after a day trip in the region was like coming home: pleasant fire place, comfortable beds and furniture, well equipped kitchen, newly renovated bathrooms.
Thanks Kellie and Marc for a wonderful holiday in your house!

Very much enjoyed my stay at the Nook. Close to town and the Margaret River MTB trails. Quiet bush setting. Kangaroos out the back. Very clean. Good facilities. Fully equipped kitchen. A firmer mattress would have been perfect although understand that most people prefer their mattresses soft ;-)

3rd time we've stayed; Close to town, feels like you are in the forest, cosy wood fire
We've stayed each year for 3 years now. This property is perfect for us.
1) Close to the Wadandi trail (we go to the mountain biking trailhead daily + rode to Cowaramup on one day + to Witchcliffe on another)
2) Close to town - we walked to dinner a couple of nights
3) Feels like we are out of the city - Lovely garden & grass close to house, opening onto taller trees/bush-feel on the rest of the block
4) Well stocked with soap/shampoo/conditioner/dishwasher deterg/laundry detergent + has a dryer & airer
5) We lit the wood fire each day - didn't need to use the reverse cycle air con; The oil-filled heaters provided in the bedrooms were ideal for warming other areas of the house away from the living area if required - some warmth was retained in the area even when they were off (much better than a fan heater). Heated floor in the ensuite was a real luxury!
6) Kellie was quick to respond if we contacted her.
We all want to come back again! Thanks Kellie :)

Has everything but overpriced
We stayed at the property for over a week.
Positives:
Has everything in kitchen you could need
Very comfy and cosy bed
Great fire and well provided for
Lovely views from the many windows
Shower is spacious and hot
Great communication with host
Fabulous having birds, kangaroos and rabbits roaming about the backyard that you could see from inside where you were warm and cosy
Clean and heaps of space which would make it great for group bookings
Negatives
The property and furnishings LOOK great but overall they are not particularly comfortable or practical.
The lounge is very soft with no support at all. Very low and annoying to get out of. Could not sit for very long.
Lighting in lounge was very dim. Difficult to sit and read as was not good for eyes.
Bar stools - hard, no back support and uncomfortable for any period of time
Dining chairs - hard and uncomfortable (thought they look nice)
Mould in bathroom on upper walls ( I imagine this would be an ongoing problem in the area)
Website mentions 'backs on to walking trails'. This was one of the drawcards for us. No walking trail found that it backed on to and no info in binder about it.
Bathtub looks awesome and is very deep. However it is kind of too deep and is difficult to get out of. The sides are designed so that unless you are over 6 feet tall you cannot step straight into the bath. You have to sit on the cold tiles and swing legs over. Not particularly convenient or comfortable.
Dining table is a good size and has a light above above which is great for playing games. However the room is not where the fire is and you either have to leave the door open (not very efficient) or tolerate the cold.
Microwave is in a weird spot and difficult to reach comfortably for average size person.
These are all personal experiences and for any people they would not rate a mention. However from my viewpoint the property was overpriced for the experience we had. If you were not spending much time in the actual home these points might not be relevant either. However we spent alot of time relaxing and chilling for the first week and were there most of the time. For the price we were charged I was expecting everything to be a of very high standard.
We would not stay there again but am sure it would suit others.

Peace and tranquillity
This is a beautiful home to stay in. Very conveniently close to the town centre yet the property is set amongst nature - it is so peaceful.
The house itself is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. The host Kellie is a delight to deal with - very efficient with her communication. We had asked for some suggestions for afternoon tea and lunch and she was so quick to respond with some recommendations. We also had an issue with a rice cooker that didn’t work and upon informing her, she dropped off a replacement (new!) rice cooker within minutes.
The garden is beautiful - well maintained and we had a most enjoyable time with family playing finska on the well kept lawn. We were even treated to a visit from a few kangaroos one evening.
We were a family of five adults that stayed. The home made for some very precious family memories created and we would highly recommend a stay here. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
Thank you Kellie.

Perfect Getaway
The property presented so clean & spacious in a beautiful bush setting, so quiet but amongst nature, yet close enough to everything the Margaret River area has to offer. The only suggestion to make relaxing in this wonderful property even more enjoyable would be the addition of some comfy outdoor chairs to use on the deck outside. Communication with Kellie was easy & appreciated.

Even better than the photos
Great property on the quieter side of MR that was even nicer than the photos. Very well organised with everything we needed and the owner kindly informed us of upcoming events so we knew what was going on that weekend.

Fabulous mums getaway
We, 3 mum friends went down South for a weekend escape and it was a great stay. Loved the house and the feel of it, the nature view and everything. Especially the fire place on those rainy cold days.
We did walk to Rivers for dinner (very yummy) as we couldn't get a last minute taxi, but it was an easy walk, and we could have easily walked into town as well.
Highly recommend this place.
Kellie was wonderful to deal with as well, very accomodating and responsive to questions.
Thank you for having us!

Oustanding Property
Everything was spotlessly clean, the property is fully equipped as described. The wood burner fire was such an asset on the cold nights. As a person with mobility issues this completely level property with very accessible ensuite bathroom and wide doorways suited me perfectly. I would highly recommend.

Lovely house in great location
We had a short visit to Margaret River - the house was extremely clean & welcoming. Close to the walk trail and a pleasant walk into the village. The wood heater warmed the house through & everything you might need for a short stay was provided.

Kellie as a host is fantastic. Welcoming and very attentive. She also provided us with quite a lot of flexibility in regards to our booking. The property is amazing! Private, quiet, lots of birds around, really well equipped, comfortable, close to the MR town and the list goes on. I have got no reasons to complain, if anything we enjoyed staying here so much that we will be back again
