Nice and peaceful location 8km from Katima Mulilo central. Big room. Very beautiful garden and great staff.
Only one twin room(?) Wifi did not work which was bad because the cell phone reception was very poor too.

The garden, even in winter was beutiful, very nice but a bit far form town for restaurant or quick meals. Privacy was great. Great shower. But various water pressures. Best receptionist. Extremely happy and great service on check in. There was a very good braai area behind a tree with some obstacles, but my husband loved the challenge.
Internet not work at all. Coffee in room better than at breakfast. Check out with bookings.com as reservation a bit difficult. But prices same as on site and staff very helpful.

We were a family of seven, including three children, and liked the quiet setting and large garden, and that our three rooms were together in a self-standing block. The garden was spacious, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
There was nothing we did no like.

This is a pleasant enough place for an overnight stop. It's a quiet property outside town with a pleasant garden and comfy beds.
Minimal additional facilities - such as there is no swimming pool.
7.0 / 10.0
There lacks a restaurant or at least a take away.
The location is out of twon, means there is no way to have a least a take away in the afternoon or evening

Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings
The room was quite small because the double bed was enormous.

It was too small to be comfortable for us but smaller people will fit well

Beautiful and peaceful location in an extensive garden.
The internet wasn't exceptional but compared to other accommodations in the region it was quite good.

The area is amazing and quiet, Staff and facilities are on top. Special thanks to Oscar for helping with fire. The manager on duty had advised us the proper way to get to Zambia faster.
I have no reservations regarding current venue

we love nature and happy forest fullfilled just like in 2019 when we stayed there😊. We enjoyed being outside and the trees are great comfort as its hot during the day. Home away from home.

I loved everything about the place it was so clean and they have beautiful gardens, the staff was so friendly including the owners. The breakfast was excellent.
If they can add other meals lunch and dinner, and also include a T.V in their rooms.Staff must put on uniform so that one can easily identify who works there. For events use the conference hall so that noise will not interfere with your guests.Thank you

rooms are spaced and more privacy
9.0 / 10.0
The location and the peacefulness.
Had to get out to open and lock the front gate. Which is necessary and needed to keep out any possible wild life.

Facilities were spotless, the hosts gracious and the food was excellent. We were a big group of 22 people, and our hosts went out of their way to accommodate every request. The setting is quiet and clean (even the sand is raked)
There is nothing I would change

I liked that it was quiet. The room was okay. Good value for your money.
Nothing.

Very clean and good value for money.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, unlike most of the government officials at the borders posts - what a pain that can turn into, but of course this is out of the control of the b&b.
Our room was big and the shower was spacious while the taps worked with lots of hot water.
The dinner was freshly prepared and tasty - as an extra to be paid for
A good stopover either before taking the 500 plus kilometre drive to Rundu or returning from Rundu.
The turn off to the Happy Forest is well before Katima Mulilo, when coming from Rundu, where the C49 hits the B8.(8 km or so) but rather check the b&b's directions.
It is really a working farm and I take my hat of to the owners for what they have achieved and are still doing.
This does not impact on the guests in anyway and adds to the charm of the place.
Unfortunately, as for the whole of the Caprivi strip, there is just about no wildlife or birds, but is a happy place to stay over and I had a bit of a walk exploring the small forest and talking to the goat herder.
May all your new pawpaw trees grow and the Guinea fowl flourish.
I liked everything.
Some tourists must realise that they visit Namibia to experience the country and her children. Not to always get what they are used to.
Africa dances to a different beat so try and pick up that vibe and go with it.
Enjoy the vastness and openness of the not only the country, but also the people.
Appreciate that English for most of the locals are their third or fourth language and go home with the warmth of Africa's sun in your heart
Just a real pity that the Tourist Board does not train their officials to be as friendly and helpful as the people on the street.
