Enjoy the mountain all year round!
Half a mile walk to the ski slope and all the festivals at the Hunter Mountain. Short drive to Kaaterskill Waterfall, golf course and many other attractions.
Newly renovated house with 5 bedrooms. Each bedroom with tv + dvd (+/- 150 dvd's in the house) and cable television (HBO , CINEMAX , SHOWTIME AND MORE included). 3 custom bathrooms, spacious living room/dining room with wood burning fireplace and large flat screen tv, loft with pool table and entertainment area, beautiful kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and marble countertop.
Outdoor deck and nice landscaping around the house.
Hot tub behind the house, pergola with lounges and, patio with sitting area to enjoy the grill and fire pit. Bunny hill for kids and 15x25 sand box to play games. Overall plenty to do to enjoy your stay in our house

The space was perfect for our annual family reunion and is exactly as described by the owner. We especially liked that the dining table was large enough for the ten of us to sit down together to eat. The kitchen was well supplied with pots and pans, dishes and utensils, but you do need to bring everything else you will need for cooking like spices, oil, condiments. The hot tub, fire pit, pool table and air hockey were also hits with the kids ages 9-19. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is in a great location! Very large, clean house with very comfortable beds. AC in all rooms was a win. There are plenty of dishes, glassware and pans to cook with. Host was quick to respond to any questions. One thing to mention is that the games are in complete disarray and many of the Xbox games were too scratched to play, however we got FIFA to work so the kids were happy with that! Overall we had a great stay!

This location was perfect for a summer getaway! Walkable to downtown, great outdoor area and deck space, including grill and hot tub. Host was very responsive. Multiple golf courses within driving distance along with some convenient hikes made this a great place to stay.

Had a great stay with a group of family and friends. Plenty of space for 8 adults and 6 kids. Property was clean upon arrival and communication was great. Only negative is that the couch should be replaced as it's falling apart and some areas of the house are in need of repair (bathroom fixtures loose, fireplace hearth cracked, etc). Overall we enjoyed our stay - hot tub was great too!

Had a great time at the property. Great location to Hunter and the home was fit for the area and overall experience in the mountains. Rustic feel with all the amenities one would expect. Very happy with my first Vrbo experience. Everything that was in the description of the house by the owners was acurate. Very Clean and Very spacious. We had 10 family members and there was a bedroom for each couple with one room to spare. We had a 2 night stay. My family had an A-Frame ski house around the corner for 30 years so we wanted to go back to Octoberfest at Hunter to relive memories and this house did not disappoint. We enjoyed the Firepit on the first night (rain second night) and the Young adults enjoyed the hot tub on both nights. The game room could use some TLC (game controllers no batteries/did not work, pool table seen better days but ping pong was OK) These were just bonus items in my opinion so does not detract in any way from the stay. The dining table is huge and had chairs for at least 10 which was awesome to play games and cards. We used the barbeque as well and it functioned perfectly. Everything you could ask for was provided and in good condition. The outside wraparound decks are very nice and would be good to have some chairs out front to enjoy the deck. Agree with all the comments in the recent past reviews. We had no need to contact the host during the stay - however we almost called as the Main TV was a bit tricky to get to work - some instruction notes would be helpful. Would highly recommend and would definately stay again. Good hosts = good place = great stay.

Perfect for our annual Columbus Day weekend trip with a group of 9 friends.The house has a great layout and was very comfortable for a big group. Everyone got their own bedroom and the beds were comfortable. We loved the open floor plan of the kitchen/dining/living room area - and the extra long dining room table is a big plus! The livingroom could use some additional seating and the sectional couch has seen better days, but we managed by bringing the gaming chairs down from the loft area and pulling some dining room chairs over. Great location - close to Phoenecia for our Rail Explorers tour (which got cancelled because of the torrential rain, but we spent a fun rainy afternoon at the Rail Museum and exploring the cute shops in Phoenicia). We went to the Fall Festival in Windham and Oktoberfest at Hunter Mtn the next day - both very convenient. We only got to use the firepit once before the rain started, but it was great and plenty of firewood was provided. The propane grill worked and an extra can of propane was provided, so you didn't have to worry about running out. The burner diffusers were rusted and one fell off, but the grill works without them so we still made a good meal. Host responded immediately to a couple of questions we had prior to arriving.Overall a great place to get away with a group of friends.

The property was adequate, and priced accordingly. We could see that the owner is in the process of making updates to the siding and decking, and the bathrooms seem to be recently renovated. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels available. The beds were very comfortable- we all commented that they looked like they'd be too thin and firm, but we all got a great night sleep. The hot tub was a good time, although a little tricky to figure out. Written instructions would be helpful. There was one jet that was very loud and forceful, and we couldn't get it to turn off. We also accidentally dropped the temp 10 degrees by putting it into "eco-mode", but luckily it warmed back up in a few hours. A couple other suggestions: Some floor mats in the bathrooms and especially in front of the hot tub or nearest door would be appreciated. Walking around with wet feet made the hardwood floor very slippery. Also, new patio furniture cushions and perhaps a request that guests bring them in after each stay? They were wet when we arrived and not in very good shape. It gives a shabby feel to an otherwise very nice home. Along the same lines, the couch is in rough shape and there was not enough room for all 6 of us to sit. Other than that, no complaints. The host was accommodating in letting us check out a couple hours late, which was appreciated. We all had a great time, and even had a bald eagle land in one of the pine trees on the property, which was awesome.

We had a wonderful time! The location was great and the home was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the pool table, ping pong and air hockey, and loved that there was a huuuge dining table where we could all sit! We were so busy over the weekend, we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit or hot tub

We are lifelong friends that set up a guys golf weekend annually in May or September. We laugh grill and catch up. It is a fantastic weekend. The fire pit was great with plenty of wood. The house is not far from Hunter Mtn entrance and main road. The neighborhood was very quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend this house for larger groups. We were 8 guys over 50. My group and I had a fantastic stay! The cabin was spacious with many comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We loved the open living space with the large table for us to all dine together. The kitchen had many ammenities available. The outdoor space was perfect for an evening fire. We had great weather, but if it had rained there were lots of games and activities inside as well. The location was close to town/attractions. We had good clear communication with hosts.

Large family gathering for the long weekend was very much enjoyed by all. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to Hunter Mountain Skiing, Bear Mountain Tubing, Tannersville shops and restaurants , and a short drive to Woodstock. Our group of 4 couples really enjoyed our stay again this winter at this wonderful home near the base of Hunter. We skied at Windham, which is 15 min away. Owner had someone at the property in 5 min when the hot tub needed an adjustment. Look forward to another visit.

This place was pretty amazing. It was big, clean, everything worked and it even had heated floors!?! It was a short walk to the mountain and pretty much everything else in town. Big fire pit outside with plenty of wood and a fireplace inside as well. We were really comfortable and ended up ordering in and watching playoff football one night instead of going out to eat. 10/10 would highly recommend. Thanks again.
