The home was nice and we enjoyed our stay. There is no washer and dryer on the property and the living area is all on the second floor. We rented a boat, but the boat slip isn’t usable as the neighbors dock extends too far out to be able to safely park a boat. The property isn’t ideal for a boating-centered stay, but it’s great for relaxation and family/friend bonding!

I picked this place because it listed a hot tub and was close to my son and new grandson. We were really looking forward to the hot tub. We get there and it will not work. I messaged the property owner and basically was told sorry for the inconvenience and they'd have to get someone to look at it. It looks like the hot tub hasn't been checked on for a while. I booked it because of the listed hot tub and it definitely didn't work. So if you're going to go to this place might want to consider asking if it works. The place was okay but it will not be one we go back to, which stinks because the location was key! There was a list of things in the house that if you did you would be charged extra for which on some cases was understandable but some was definitely excessive.

Location was perfect for our event at HSB. 5 min drive. Well appointed Kitchen, nice sitting area upstairs inside and outside up and down including fire pit/bbq area. Showers were a bit small, but we managed. Recommend having soap, shampoo and conditioner available in the showers, but not a major issue as we brought our own just in case. Check in and comm with property manager Julie was perfect. We all liked it. Thanks.

Kind of small but the space is well utilized, plenty of places to sleep and hang out. Jet ski lifts are great if you’re bringing your own PWC and the no wake zone is short which is always nice.

We are home shopping for our retirement and stayed here based on the location. The house was nice and everything we needed for our stay was provided. We had a relaxing time on the upper porch, watching the thunderstorms roll through. The house is close to several good restaurants in HSB area. Overall, a nice place!

We celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday and this place was perfect for our plans. We ate a lot and enjoyed time catching up around the fire pit. The host also let us check out later since it was unoccupied the next night.

Never Again!!!
I asked the host about docking my boat before renting. He claimed that there was a sea wall long enough to dock a 24 ft boat which is wrong. I also asked for pictures to see what I was dealing with before my vacation. He claimed that he didn’t have pictures, and even though that seemed shady, I took his word and made my reservation. I sent him pictures in case he makes that claim again.
The sea wall was too short, and the water at his lot was about 1 ft deep, where he said I could dock my boat.
They did have a paddle boat which was nice to use to get past the slimy shallow water so we could swim because my boat was damaged from trying to dock it at the property.
If you want to dock your boat or have a nice place to swim, avoid this place. It’s probably ok for a small shallow running boat but You’ll have to walk through slime so you don’t destroy your prop.
Btw, these issues will remain the same because this is a constant level Lake.
The upper deck is nice and the house is ok.

Nice place
Very nice place. We had 5 adults and one child and fun was had by all. Jacuzzi tub was clean and very nice. Where you get in the lake is a little ick from being right at the end of the cove in the corner, but after you get out of the corner water is nice. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Great house but dock sucks
Chad was nice always communicated fast and helped out when needed. The bed are very comfortable and full bed down stairs and another full in hall but nice and upstairs nice living room kitchen cozy and California king bed up stairs with two bunks and the couch was a bed too very nice! Back tip patio nice and lower lever too nice outside are sink the whole things!
Hot tob had way to much chlorine burned our eyes but nice and clean!
The only down fall of this location and lake house view was the dock and the nasty slim in the lake to even get in water not much of a lake view or easy access to the water. I was disappointed in that but beautiful home and quite and nice

Great time!
The place was clean and we all had a great time but they say they have a propane grill and they do not. It made cooking a little difficult.

A little dated
The place is pretty dated and has about 8' of waterfront. You are pretty squeezed in between 2 other places. There is a bedroom upstairs with a king bed and bunkbeds with a tiny bathroom. The kitchen is really small. Most people don't really care while on vacation, but we like to cook and save our money for all the activities. There are 2 beds downstairs, but one is right next to the entry door and is a little weird if you have small kids with you. The best part are the deer in the neighborhood. Go to Tractor Supply in Marble Falls and get some corn. The deer will eat it out of your hands!

Weekend getaway
My family and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at this property. The house was well supplied, clean, and in a great community. The kids loved ❤️ Feeding the deer. The hot tub was clean and perfect for night time relaxing. I will return here if available in the future.

Lovely vacation with my kids and pets.
We very much enjoyed our stay. It is difficult to find a place that allows pets. This home was perfect for my family and dogs. We will definitely stay here again.❤️

Horseshoe Bay
We had a very relaxing stay. The jacuzzi was a perfect addition. We fed the deer that just came right up to us on the property.
I would say the only issue is there is a camera inside at the front door/hallway area, this should be disclosed. I felt comfortable with the safety of having it but my guest did not, since it was near a bed, at the front entrance. Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this rental to everyone.

Great deck, best hot tub, warning tape, cameras
The most remarkable features of this property are the upstairs deck and downstairs patio overlooking the lake. Gorgeous. Also, we always include “hot tub” as a necessary amenity when we look for places to stay. The hot tub at this location was the nicest one I have ever seen at a rental property.
The owners could probably change a few things to make the property feel more welcoming. The furnishings are adequate. At most properties we’ve rented, there are usually, at least, coffee grounds and filters provided (at least enough for the first morning). Often there is a letter or visitors’ log with welcoming and informational remarks from the owners. Those were absent. (There was a binder with local attractions. The binder is falling apart.) Painters tape with warnings scrawled across them were stuck all over the house. Video cameras could be found in awkward locations: not just outside, watching the entrances. But also on the downstairs patio (possibly) within view of the hot tub and even inside the main entrance, which is a sleeping area and frequent passageway from the downstairs patio to the main living area. It is difficult to relax when you have to think about your state of dress going from upstairs to the hot tub. I can sympathize with the frustration that comes from guests disrespecting the owner’s investment. I have seen examples of other property owners getting their point across in a more welcoming, friendly way. Simple changes could make a significant difference in the guest’s experience.

Great spot for our family
This house was a perfect little spot for our family. The 13 year old enjoyed the first floor room to himself. The younger 2 kiddos loved bunking in the same room as mom and dad. View is amazing! We packed bikes and enjoyed rides around the quiet neighborhood. Hot tub was a huge hit for the 6 & 9 year old. Their are usually age requirements on hot tubs at hotels, so they loved being able to hop into this one anytime!

Good Location
Pros. Location
Cons. Kitchen is up stairs and there is no privacy at all. Neighbors are literally right on top of you. While the kitchen had sufficient pots pans plates etc. , be aware there is nothing else like foil or seasoning gs.

Travelers: If you are considering renting, read this: beware misleading listings, and an inhospitable owner. I lost a lot of money to both of these. My wife and I work 12+ hour days and needed a change of scenery so we decided on a rental. We required working wi-fi, because we needed to work every day. Not fast wifi, just wifi. Seeing some negative reviews about wifi at this property, we double-checked by emailing the owner. He replied “the internet is working” and “the previous issues were fixed.” So, we booked 1 day before our scheduled arrival time, a full 3 nights, which cost a lot of money.Upon arriving, the internet was non-functional. Email wouldn’t load. Even google.com took 5 full minutes to load (!!) We notified the owners. They told us to reset the router. No luck. BTW we are both well-versed in internet diagnostics. I confirmed that there is “technically” internet, but at speeds that are NON-FUNCTIONAL by all standards (even if it’s 1995). So, the owner’s wife got on the phone with the internet service provider, who said it would take 48-72 hours to get a technician out to the property (past the length of my stay). We politely told the owner that we could not stay, as wi-fi was the only amenity we needed, and we had work online at 8am. We left a mere 2 hours after arriving (arrived, debugged internet, left) and offered to pay for cleaning fees. Here is where it took a turn: We asked for a refund and the owner outright refused to even listen to us. I was shocked by the tone of what should normally a pretty routine conversation. One might wonder if I was demanding unreasonable speeds. I was not. Or that I’m lying.... I’m not. Obviously I wanted my trip to work out. Fellow travelers: You may inquire about the wifi, and they may say it’s fixed. It may NOW be, since the provider, Frontier Communications, may fix it. If I were you, based on the lack of transparency / hospitality of this host, I would demand evidence of an accredited speed test before booking if you also have to work. Take caution with all aspects of the listing: Need the hot tub? Need the toilet to flush? If something is not as described, you’re out of a lot of money, like I am. Take extreme caution when booking this home. I learned VRBO does not protect travelers from falsely listed amenities. They rely on the honesty of hosts. So us travelers can only rely on reviews.

Great way to quarantine away from home
my wife and I have been going stir crazy at home and decided to take a little vacation nearby. We found this place and booked it for 3 nights. The downstairs bedroom is visible as you walk in to the house, so don't expect any privacy. There's also a bed near the entrance and a camera near it pointing to the front door, but it probably captures the bed as well. Again don't expect any privacy. The view while on the dock downstairs is partially blocked due to a fence, but the view from the upstairs balcony is great. The kitchen and remaining bedroom is upstairs, so that's where you will spend most of your time anyway. The jacuzzi was nice and enjoyed spending time in it. There's a lot of bugs that fly around the lights at night. I wish there was a repellent or different color lights that could be placed to fix this issue since that kinda stopped us from going outside at night.

Nice family home
This is a good house for a small family. Very clean but a bit outdated. House had a good location as it was easy to rent a jet ski for the trip. We had a great time!

A Great Getaway
All was as advertised. House is cozy and right on the water. Does sleep 5, but two of the beds are downstairs and have zero privacy. They have a little boat to enjoy the lake. Kitchen is well appointed. Only drawback was previous guests had left a lot of trash in the bins, and the deer kept spilling the trash out. I would definitely recommend/go back.

Great house and location
When we walked in, the house was very clean and organized. The house sits perfectly where we like to launch and centrally located at LBJ. There was enough room for our family of 8. The only downfall is we have a 24ft Yamaha and there was a big concrete obstacle behind the slip and we got caught on it a couple of times and now have scratches on the boat. I would recommend house if you have a smaller boat.

Rented for the week with spouse and our children. House was certainly comfortable and adequate for our needs, though I was glad to have brought several things from my own kitchen.

Not bad just not ideal for littles
Pros: Overall, the house was fine very clean, easy check in/check out. The deer were soooo much fun, came up on the patio and we were able to feed right out of our hands! The kids loved it! The hot tub made up for not being able to swim off the waterfront area.
Not so pro: it’s waterfront but not swimmable, between the seaweed and rocks it wasn’t happening. Luckily we knew someone down there that took us to a swimmable area. The jet skis weren’t available, which happens but would have been helpful to know when we booked, as that was part of the reason we chose the house.
Had problems from day 1 with no tv, Wi-Fi, AC staying on issues, which wouldn’t have been a big deal except it rained heavily our first night and our littles (4yr and 2yr) had to stay inside. The connection issues were never fixed, the owner did try and tell us tricks to get it to work, it just never did and we just stay unplugged for the trip.
