Everything is perfect! For young backpackers? Absolutely

Everything is nice, the staff is helpful. Just prepare your night trip, its closed at 10pm

A keybox to access would be okay for nights, but I understand your concerns

Comme à la maison

L'ambiance est super, on se sent comme à la maison et la vue sur Lucerne n'a pas de prix ! La localisation n'était pas du tout gênante car le bus était gratuit pour rejoindre le centre en 10 min à peine

Unbelievable view from this villa/hostel

The best hostel ever, the view is simply incredible The host is a very nice guy

Other girls in my room closed the window at night and turned the fan off so there was a lack of fresh air.

Through the large window in the living room, i could overlook the extremely beautiful scenery of luzern, surrounded by mountains, which made me feel amazed when i woke up in the morning. Both the kitchen and entertainment facilities were perfect, and supplies were clean and tidy. The owner introduced the house patiently and meticulously, even though it was late at night.

Although it is written on the door of the sleeping room to keep quiet, it was actually difficult to achieve, because everyone could hear any movement in the room, such as opening thw door, zipping backpacks, packing luaggage, etc., and almost everyone would be disturbed their sleep.

Alojamiento muuuuy bueno!

Rai is an awesome host. He has created a place where you can feel as at home. I enjoyed a lot my days there. The house is situated in a climb from where you can see all Lucern valley and you can wake up just in front of you Pilatus montain. I was in the 8 bed shared room and the room is so big.

From my POV, paying almost 100€/night in a 8 beds shared room, it could include the breaksfast on the price. Also he give to you the opportunity to take a breakfast just from 2.5€ (Suuuuuuuuuuuuper cheap for being in Switzerland)

Wow Excellent! Ray is a really nice host, the homestay exceeds expectation in many ways, it feels very comfortable, welcoming. Instructions are clear! The location is also quite convenient, I enjoyed my two days in Lucerne thanks to Ray!

Loved it!

Absolutely loved my stay. I felt like I was just hanging out with friends. Met some amazing people and was like no other hostel that I’d ever been to before. Rainer was a great host, loved every part of my stay and would 100% stay here again.

An incredible location with an incredible and unique concept. We both LOVED the place - it felt like coming home to a big family, everybody is caring about not disturbing the others and the hosts took care about making you feel comfortable and like at home at friends. Waking up to that view and having your breakfast while the sun is coming up over the mountains gave us so much energy which got even better when they switched on the whirlpool for us to enjoy a few hours in the pool to watch the sun going down. Unfortunately we didn't feel to well to go partying with the two and the other guests but that's reason enough to return to this incredible place with these lovely people. We would definitely come back.

Not a single thing. There has never been a location where I felt as good as here.

Lovely place, but incident with man sneaking into girls room was unsettling.

Rainer was helpful with all the questions. The way the house is designed, with the views, you can see why he is passionate about this place. It was great that I could also use the washer and dryer (at a fee). The instructions that Rainer provided were also good and the location of the house was easily reachable from Luzern Bahnhof - though it's in a residential area so do be careful if you are travelling at nigh not to enter someone else's premises. Toilet is very large and well designed with large mirror where you can also put your clothes.

I had a girls room... One night we had a full room with 4 girls. I had a very early day the next day and was woken up by extremely aggressive snoring, which was fine, some girls snore, it's fine. I didnt want to use the toilet too long in the early morning so I changed in the girls room. What I found out after I came back from my hike was that my room mate told me the snoring person was actually a man who had sneaked into the girls room at 2am and switch his bed with another girl. So all along, I was changing in a room with a man's presence. It felt unsettling, and of course a safety concern. Just a note to future travellers that this might happened and if you're okay with it then sure, this place is good for you. Also the electric kettle was dirty with milk froth, I didn't use the other kitchen items but other than the safety lapse about a man entering the girls room, no other major issues with the place.

You really feel like home here!! Doesn't feel like a hostel with tons of unknown people. The view from your room worth all the money! It's clean and comfortable! I only had one night, but I felt like I would stay forever 😅😅 And definitely, I would live in such place!

The perfect place to enjoy Switzerland !

I love this wonderful place, clean and well managed, have beautiful views from the living room and bedroom, staffs are so friendly and helpful, fully equipped kitchen, even perfect location. I could feel the host’s love for this place during my stay, and it made me feel at home definitely. So I extended my stay until the last day in Swiss. I’m sure it is the perfect place to enjoy Switzerland and happily coming back !

Amazing concept & I would definitely come again!

Overall, everything worked like it was promised. The host was exteramly frendly and ready to make our staying as good as possible. The rules of the house were followed by everyone. Other people were very kind and we had plenty of good discussion with them.

Don't think twice just book and have an experience

The best hostel I have ever stayed in so far. From my check-in experience to the amenities everything was really class, and shout out to Rainer for making the stay experience seamless and amazing. And the view - absolutely amazing!

Pushing my luggage uphill and carrying it up the stairs. Some exercise though!
