Our family from grandparents down to great-grand daughter and everyone in between spent Labor Day weekend at the house. It was perfect for all of us. We had plenty of space, it was close to the beach, and walkable to the boardwalk. A great property and location.

We have been gathering as an extended family since 1990. The past 20+ years have been in Rehoboth. This was our first year at 24 Columbia in North Rehoboth and it was perfect for the thirteen of us. Enough space for all to be comfortable and a large enough kitchen/dining room/den for all of us to gather for morning coffee and family dinners. The house had all the amenities we needed. The walk to the beach is just enough to get some steps yet still feels convenient. We come from all over the country and would like to return next year.

The house was awesome. Plenty of room and kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Easy walk to beach. I would stay at this residence again with friends and/or family.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very well equipped, even has beach chairs, a wagon, beach toys and a keurig. Would have loved ceiling fans (only the main floor bedroom has one), but we brought portable foldable fans from Amazon. The air conditioning works very well except not so well in the 3rd floor bedroom (but the area with twin beds gets plenty cool). We had 4 households stay and there was plenty of room/privacy and accommodations for each family. We had three large vehicles and could have easily fit another one or even two. Would definitely rent here again.

We loved our stay at this property! The home was beautiful. It's large, clean, and nicely appointed. Beach access was easy. Shops and restaurants were nearby. It was a great place to bring our family from across the country together for a long weekend. We enjoyed our time in Rehoboth and made some great memories.

Our family of ten sincerely enjoyed our stay. There was certainly enough room for all of us including enough room for two children under four to run around. The house has all the amenities one would need to stay in and cook every meal. There is beach equipment as well. It's a six minute walk to the beach. My only suggestion for future guests would be to bring your own towels if possible; the rental towels were so cheap they left their remnants on everyone. Also make sure to bring your own toilet tissue, soap, etc.

Everything about the property was absolutely perfect. Check-In was straight forward and everything in the house functioned properly as advertised. We had 7-9 people over the course of the weekend which allowed everyone their own sleeping quarters, but even with 10 more people it still wouldn't have felt cramped. Will definitely consider this house again next time in Rehobath.

Lots of comfortable separate rooms for a group of friends or family members. 20 minute walk to downtown Rehoboth.

Suited our needs, would not rent again...
When we walked in the house it smelled mildewy/musty (we thought perhaps because it had been closed up), but we did a drive by a week before to take a look from the outside and the house was occupied... not sure what it was. We sprayed and wiped down the bathrooms, kitchen, and opened as many windows as we could. The kitchen is large, the refrigerators and bathrooms appeared clean. The backyard, okay, but the potted plants looked unattended (I guess after the summer the owners/realtors don't think it is necessary to keep up outside appearances although they are still renting the property. Beautiful location, walking distance to the beach and the downtown Rehoboth Beach area. The windows were dirty (a pet peeve of mine). The bedroom/kitchenette over the garage was nice, but again the entire home has an odd smell. The toilets could be updated - very low to the floor (12 adults ages 50-69) we are used to high toilet seats - LOL. Some of the furniture needs repairing or replacing - holes in the furniture. For the 2022 season, they should purchase a new fire pit (it's rusted and the screen full of holes - it should have been thrown in the garbage). It wasn't unbearable, but I probably wouldn't rent this location again... it served the purpose for the 4 nights we were there.

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Beach Weekend
We absolutely loved this home! We had four couples stay for a long weekend and this property worked our perfectly for us. The house was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and close to the beach and Rehoboth. We cooked all of our meals in. The kitchen was fantastic, as well as the dining area. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen and family room area. The property manager was also very easy to work with and very responsive. We all had a wonderful weekend! We would definitely rent this beautiful home again!!

This property is very well maintained and one of the most comfortable homes we have ever vacationed in. The kitchen is very well appointed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two turkey Thanksgiving!!

Our group comes every year to Rehoboth for a weekend getaway, and we have stayed at many locations, but this one was the favorite so far!We really enjoyed staying at 24 Columbia. The location is a few blocks from the beach, which made it easy to walk with a toddler and a small baby (plus all of the stuff). Columbia is a busy street, so be aware as there aren't sidewalks. We did have a small issue at check in. We had been approved for an early check in, but the code wasn't properly ready at that time. We were able to resolve it quickly with Re/Max.The space is amazing in the house. Each bedroom has thick curtains, a must for those traveling with little ones. The bathrooms are very nice as well. The space over the garage smelled a little musty and damp, and the 3rd floor loft space had a bit of mildew in the bathroom area ceiling (we did not utilize this space though). The kitchen was well-appointed and great to cook in! We enjoyed the kitchen table space, the island seating, and the game room area in the converted garage. There was a water table in the backyard that we enjoyed as well for the kids.We would definitely return to this house in the future.

Overall, a great house
Our experience overall was very positive. One problem was the ants in the kitchen. We purchased ant traps, but to no avail. We enjoyed the gathering space/ game room a lot!!

Great Off-Season Family Getaway
We stayed at House In the Pines in November and found it to be perfectly comfortable for our group of 13. Walking to the beach and Rehoboth Avenue is enjoyable. The house was cozy, with the living area enjoying the spacious, functional, and beautiful kitchen. The bedrooms were ample and comfortable as well.

Perfect house in a great location!
The house was exactly as pictured....felt "brand new" and perfect for our family reunion! Kitchen, dining and living areas on first floor were great! Even better was the rec room (former garage) that opens up to driveway patio area. The house is well cared for and it shows. 5 minute walk to beach and 10 minute walk to Rehoboth Avenue. Highly recommend this house! Thanks to the owners for opening it up for summer rentals!

Beautiful house, great location, misleading BR situation
The house was wonderful, very clean with updated appliances, comfortable beds, good common spaces, and beautiful, highly functional kitchen. Great master suites ideal for couples or couples with 1-2 kids. Great indoor/outdoor space in the converted garage. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes and very easy, which was a definite plus. One thing I would change about the listing is the bedroom situation. One of the bedrooms listed with a queen bed is actually a living room with a pull out couch. This was not ideal for our group which was all adult couples. The last group that arrived elected to sleep on the single beds with nearby closets, dressers, and bathroom rather than sleeping in the common area with their suitcases on the floor. This would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Great Getaway
This is a great house for a large group. There is plenty of room to spread out in the house due to its size and layout. The kitchen is very well-appointed and there was plenty of space for all of our food and drinks. The Coke cooler in the garage was perfect for keeping all of our single-serve beverages icy cold. Our group actually spent a great deal of time in the garage and driveway, eating, playing games and listening to music. We always enjoy outdoor spaces the most. All of us noticed how comfortable the beds were and the bathroom showers had plenty of water pressure for all! It was nice to come home from the beach and enjoy a warm shower and a comfortable bed each night. The house is situated a block from the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk, so we didn't have to drive anywhere to have fun. The Pines is a gorgeous neighborhood and we enjoyed biking and walking through it each day. The only regret about our stay was that we didn't have a pool, but we knew that when we booked the house. We recommend happy hour at the Henlopen Oyster house and Salt Air for an upscale dinner. The food was great at both places.

Family Gathering
This house was perfect for us! It was clean and well maintained. Very nicely decorated home with enough space for 14 people to enjoy and not be on top of each other. We had two families with kids and one set of grandparents. The separate living space for the grandparents worked out very well so they could escape the noise of the kids anytime they liked. I recommend this house highly for a group this big, It's also a half a block to the beach and 15 min. walk to town.
