Best place to Stay and Enjoy the Food from their Kitchen

The Hotel for staying is very good , With Friendly type of staff giving a good service as per our expectations Secondly the Food is very good unto the mark which values for the money toEnjoy every time

The View from all the rooms are Excellent , with all types of facility provided to the customers Its ADDED value for the money to keep staying at your place

Pleasant, but missed a hot shower

Good breakfast (freshly prepared) with excellent coffee. Comfortable single room with attached bathroom, wifi and balcony. The hotel is kept clean. Friendly respectful staff.

Hot shower did not work (not in the evening and not in the morning). It was the main reason I checked out. The hotel is located in a residential area with few restaurant options or a good supermarket within walking distance. I recommend to eat in the hotel as there are no other options with similar price and quality around. Perhaps good if you have your own car as they have a parking facility, but less so if you have to use public transport (boda).

Dårlig stemning

Frokosten var imponerende og rommet var koselig. Var også kjekt med balkong.

Helhetsopplevelsen med å være her. Stemningen ble ikke den samme. Sprutet også vann i alle retninger når vi dusjet. Personalet var ofte tilstede, men virket litt for alvorlige. Noe som ikke akkurat hjalp på den dårlige stemningen her.

nice experience

nice place. litte outside from center but therefor quiet and not so expensive. also with boda boda i had no problem to go to the center. had some places in kampala before but would take this anytime i come again. guys at reception are very friendly. with tv, fan, balcony and own bathroom there is everthing you need to relax.

if you get a room in 4th floor you will have fitness-program included ;) but is easy to manage

Harts Motel is a very gender discriminated place. Do not stay there and Let it die out!

I like NOTHING about Harts Motel.

Hi Every Potential Guests: Harts Motel is the most gender discriminated place I have never seen. When two of us arrived at midnight on 30th of July 2023, the receptionist forced us to pay another room because two males could not live in the double bed and there was no twins room or family room in Harts Motel. I said there was no agenda requirement in confirmation letter from Booking.com. In addition, there was no agenda requirement in Booking.com when I booked it. The receptionist replied that this was a requirement from Uganda government and the owner of Harts Motel. I argued why you did not mention it in Booking.com and then he responded that Booking.com declined Harts' gender request due to gender discrimination. I asked why Harts Motel did not move your products from Booking.com after that and then the receptionist was in silence. In the end, we were forced to pay another room because the time was quite late and around Harts Motel it was not safe. In the morning we checked out in Harts Motel and checked in another hotel in Kampala. The owner and receptionist in another hotel in Kampala told us that there was no any gender requirement from Uganda policy and they never hearted that any motels or hotels in Kampala required two males or females in the separated bed. When we did the payment for two double rooms, Harts Motel requested extra two USA dollars for Bank transaction fees, but the room fees already included the bank transaction fees. It means Harts Motel double charged bank transaction fees from us. Therefore, it was obvious that Harts Motel wanted to make more money from us with the fucking lies. I had made a formal complaint to Booking.com and had requested to refund the money back. Meanwhile, I requested Booking.com to wipe Harts Motel out. I have travelled over 11 years and have wrote three travel books, but I have never met this kind of fucking motel, never! Please Do NOT STAY IN Harts Motel and LET IT DIE OUT!

A hotel with great potential.

The hotel seems newly built the amenities are new and a bit modern compared to other Kampala restaurants. It’s also very clean,neat and well kempt. I had an issue with the staff but some are very friendly the few trained ones.The receptionist on 27/3/22 morning (unfortunately I didn’t get his name)was very willing to help and even guided me on directions .The lady at the restaurant is also very friendly.Kudos to the two they made my stay lovely.

The breakfast was very limited it’s a la carte with 2 options only.They also only provide option of black tea or coffee .They need to diversify the breakfast menu and maybe have a buffet. They also need to train the staff better.They seem to have hired people with no experience in hospitality.The receptionist I found yesterday was not sure of the pricing and was grumpy.The cleaning gentleman asks to clean even when you are in the room.They are not bad however they just need training.

The place was in a good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy also.

Their was some noise late in the night, and the toilet was loose. But it was a nice stay.

There were some hiccups, but the room is pure value!

Beautiful room and bathroom Secure compound

Some employees were rather unfriendly, especially during check in. This improved during our stay. At the time of booking, the indicated location did not match their real location. In that way, we went to the wrong place in the city to find out we still needed to take an extra taxi. It is located in the Bulange neighbourhood and not near the Mengo palace.

Comfortable & quiet away from Kampala noise

The staff are very polite and helpful,location is ok, also the price is very good

its a good place and value for money . location is not nice for tourist but for residence .

there was no breakfast included in my booking

cleaninness and the room is at the topmost . its a lot of stress to climb that building.the tv is very small, the bed is okay , the bathing soap is like a soap for a rat, i dont think that soap is ideal for someone , my own view . the receptionst guy was moody at night and happy in the morning and helped with my bags in the morning nd i appreciate him for being kind in the morning .
