Stay was ohk. Location was not the best because of the current road works.

The staff. The self catering plus daily room service.

The hotel needs a little maintenance. Had to change rooms, the first one had a leak on the roof. The one we were moved to also had a problem with the bath.

We enjoy it very much. We’ll definitely book again.

It was nice clean and cozy.

Obviously they busy with renovations. So there wasn’t airconditioning . They don’t have a variety of tv channels to watch.

Loud music spoilt our stay

It is so well positioned and the rooms are great

The property has a massive pub in the middle which played such loud music until past 1am. It seems like the property is more focused on its evening trade than its guests

Our stay was horrible

We liked the view

The service we got from the reception was bad, the room didn’t have wifi, they put us in a room with a broken geyser, we showered with cold Water and they were unbothered when we complained.

Disappointing

The images and information on the booking site are extremely misleading . We were expecting an apartment suited for a family of four . Two double beds , a kitchen space and bathroom are all squeezed into an area smaller than our living room at home . The images on the booking site make it appear much larger , with separation between the rooms . There is only one window large enough for an adult to climb through , and if opened poses a serious danger risk for kids under 6 as it opens onto an unfenced rooftop ! There is no air-conditioning, no fans, no ventilation at all . There seemed to be confusion about the apartment we booked at reception as well .It turned out our initial apartment was double booked which is unacceptable . So we were dumped into the next "best" one . We had to find other accommodation asap . The manager sent me a holiday voucher to cover the cost for the rest of the booking period but I feel the right thing to do would have been a refund .

I would definitely stay there again provided that the air-conditioning is repaired.

The location was great. It was close to the shopping malls and the beach.

The air-conditioning did not work and it was nearly impossible to sleep at night. Although fans were provided, all it did was circulate hot air.

The staff and service was superb.

I didn't like the location as much, but for the rest it was excellent.

The location and the fact that the aircons didn't work. At the restaurant and the bar next to each other they also played two kinds of different music at the same time.

Weekend Away

Good location. Close to the beach. The pool area is amazing.

Aircon not in working order. No lifts. Windows needs to be cleaned.. lots of bird droppings

I HAVE TRAVELLED TO MANY HOTELS AND THIS WAS DISAPPOINTING. WILL NOT RECCOMEND.

NO SHOWER CAPS IN ROOMS. LIMITED SOAP SHOWER GEL AND LOTION. TEA BAGS COFFEE SUPPLIED IN A BANK PACKET DUE TO COVID WHICH WAS OVER YEAR AGO. AIRCON SWITCHED OFF - NOT WORKING IN SEA FACING ROOMS. ONLY A FAN IN THE SUMMER HEAT. NO BUFFET BREAKFAST. LIMITED OF EVERYTHING PROVIDED.

A very good good place was beyond our expectations

The cleanliness, Rooms were spotless clean. The food was great.Goid location, we wanted to extend our stay. Thank you.

Steps to our chalet 🙆‍♂️🙈was not ayoba,and the TV channels no radio channels. .

Relaxing weekend away with family. The chalet felt like home away from home.

Staff we excellent and accommodating at all times. Rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy. All staff from reception, to porter to maintenance and housekeeping were friendly and obliging. I will definitely be back again.

Area around the putt putt needs to be cleaned. Too much bush surrounds it, Maybe add a little more outdoor entertainment for kiddies.

Lovely.

The staff are very friendly and respond very well when you need assistance. The location is is lovely and the rooms are spacious. There is a backup generator.

St Michael's October 2023

The 3rd room we were moved to was most comfortable and value for money. It contained everything we needed, and more. Spacious. View is exceptional. I would highly recommend these rooms.

The first room was dirty and had an awful sewage stench. It is rather dingy and unsafe to access as well. Second room, we could not sleep due to an irritating loud noise all night. Turned out it's the water motor right in that room for the facility. Third room was fine. Access to and from rooms to main communal areas, restaurant and bar, was not easy. Steep and my elderly Mom struggled greatly. Unsafe as well for wheelchair. The maintenence we were informed is ongoing however, it could commence a bit later. It was awful to be woken by banging.

It was a most enjoyable holiday. We cannot wait to come back. Home away from home.

From the time we left on our holiday we had constant welcoming notifications to the arrival at hotel, it was excellent service. The staff are most accommodating and are so eager to see you. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to all family and friends. Thank you,St Michaels, we will definitely be back.

The unit was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom baseboards were rusted or rotting, base of shower was cracked and rusted. We could not use the patio due to the feral cats, which we were not informed about.

Pleasant

If you advertise room without sea view you still expect a window in the room. If felt like staying in a prison cell with a small bathroom window. For the amount I paid I expected better. In the shower there was also used shower jel bottle from previous visitors.

Beautiful resort! Amazing food and staff!!

We attended a wedding and wow !!! The staff were amazing !!! Like absolutely, the food was wow.

The service in booking. Takes too long for correspondence! Left a message for a guy to call back , it's already a month and he has not. Staff do not call or message. It's always something about the accounts department Very frustrating booking into St Michael Sands.

the room we were in ,which was number 5 was permanently stuffy and the floors and at times walls wet to the touch as no air flow due to no windows and although there was an aircon ,which probably would have helped to a certain extent ,we didn't want to use it.

Room was very tidy and all appliances were working fine,it was a home away from home.

View, I couldn't see the sea of which in my booking I requested seaview. The room was facing the sea,but view was blocked 😞

we liked the food at the restaurant and the staff the was really friendly and helping, the location was also good, the beach was amazing.

Disappointing

The pool was good and the staff was very friendly

The hotel is very bad condition, The bathroom had a bad smell, They were no tea , coffee and sugar in the room , The aircorn was not working, for a hotel it should be up to stand its sad to say that the apartments are 100 times better than the hotel
