About this house rental

RELAX - COME ENJOY Texas hospitality at its best. THE Bow-wood suite is a romantic space, king bed, fireplace and TV in bedroom area; Fireplace, recliner, TV, makeup area in sitting area. Large private bathroom with spa like shower unit; continental breakfast, candies and miscellaneous snack goodies. Plus, washer/dryer available in ‘common area’ foe our guests to use. Old fashioned front porch seating for your morning coffee, a nice glass of wine in the evening, or if you prefer - a gazebo in the back courtyard area to enjoy (when its chilly out, a fire pit). We are located near downtown, so within walking distance to restruants, drug store, multiple churches, breweries, etc.
We do want you to know we are located on a corner lot - so there is ‘traffic noise’ and there are 3 (total) private suites in this Main building.

We were in Kerrville to visit our son who just moved into his junior year college apartment. Clair was nice enough to host us for one night. The room came with every amenable We could think of.. And probably a few we didn’t think of! The common area was cozy and a good place for us to hang out with our friends who rented one of the other rooms. The kitchenette was fully stocked, As well as a little mini bar area in our room.. Like I said, anything we could’ve thought to ask for, she already had in place. Definitely recommend this little piece of Heaven to anybody looking to stay in Kerrville!

We loved staying here. The host was welcoming and the bungalow was perfect for the two of us. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. I especially appreciated the coffee, fruit, milk, and juice.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were perfect for the occasion - kitchenette area, very comfortable bed, setting was intimate yet spacious with comfortable chairs/sofa. Clair was an ideal hostess - gave us the "grand tour" when we arrived and made us feel right at home. We will definitley return and will recommend this to everyone.

This was such a cute property! I absolutely loved how it was decorated. The host greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. She is so charming! She gave us suggestions on places to eat and things to do while in the area. I was impressed by all the little details that were added to the rental. (The coffee bar was stocked with food and drinks, toiletries were in the drawers just in case something was left at home, over the counter meds were available…just in case, there was a special wash rag for makeup removal and much more.) After the long days, we spent both nights relaxing and visiting with friends while drinking wine on the side patio. The outside is just as adorable as the inside. This is my favorite VRBO experience thus far!

We wanted a quick getaway for our 30th year anniversary. We wanted to hike at Lost Maples and decided to stay here in Kerville because the photos of this place were so nice. Clair, the owner went above and beyond to make our stay special. She was beyond attentive, no touch was spared. We had all we needed and then some! We are so grateful for the time we spent here. We will definitely be back!

My best friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We felt very spoiled being Clair's guests. Everything you needed she supplied. From a goodies basket of sweet treats and breakfast items, fresh fruit, assortment of coffee and teas and creamers. To a fully stocked Spa like bathroom including luxurious bath wash, lotions, many other toiletries, and bath robes. Bed was very comfortable! Location was great and easy to get to all the surrounding towns! The only drawback was that our bungalow faced the busy street so there was noisy traffic off and on. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and can't wait to visit again!!!

This is a lovely property run by a lovely woman who knows BnB! All rooms have en suite baths and kitchenette, but there is also shared area with table and larger kitchen. The units are stocked with all sorts of items to make your stay comfortable. It is on a corner with traffic noise during the day, but very quiet at night.

I booked after business hours and didn’t expect to hear back until next day. Clare responded right away, so kind and helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Unit was wonderful. So many extras compared to other B&B’s. Had a relaxing girls weekend. Great host. We recommend this place!

My husband and I travel quite a bit and this was the best place we have ever stayed. The home is gorgeous and from the moment you arrive, you feel pampered and comfortable. The owner and hostess Clair has everything you could possibly think of available at your fingertips. From sweets and a stocked fridge to bathrobes waiting for you after a spa-feel shower, it is perfection. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you and if we are ever in the area, this is our go-to!

Our two night stay in the Bow-wood Suite was fantastic! The suite was beautifully appointed, extremely clean, and Clair was the perfect host. She provided delicious snacks, fruit and drinks upon our arrival as well as a fridge stocked with breakfast foods and yummy ice cream! Her attention to detail is amazing. The kitchen area included a microwave, toaster, blender, Keurig coffee maker, glassware, silverware and numerous coffee and tea options. She provided bathroom necessities/toiletries as well (blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, an awesome lavender hand soap, lotion and even toothbrushes, toothpaste, q-tips, & cotton balls, if needed). The big shower was even a spa shower! The bed linens and bath towels were of high quality, and the pillows were awesome (no waking up with a stiff neck, here). The suite had two televisions and a most relaxing sitting area complete with a comfortable recliner. We felt very spoiled by Clair and could tell she truly enjoys making her guests feel loved. The next time we venture to Kerrville, we will book with Clair at her incredible BoisD’Arc Bungalow & Suites!! Thank you, Clair, for a wonderful stay and weekend!

Excellent communication from the host, Clair prior to arrival and charming hospitality when she met us upon arrival. It was fun to hear a bit of the history of the property as well as learn about some of the the recent renovations. Decor is tasteful and relaxing. Our room was excellent... plush bed, soft linens, well-stocked kitchenette, comfortable sitting area, and a full-featured bathroom. Parking is adequate and several good restaurants are convenient. Two thumbs way up!

With Covid we postponed our original honeymoon trip and decided to just get away to the Hill Country in Kerrville. We were extremely satisfied. The Bow-wood Suite @ BoisD’Arc Bungalow & Suites - Rustic/Romantic Getaway was exactly that. The perfect mix of rustic and modern. Very nicely decorated, the shower was amazing. The kitchenette was stocked better than any place we have ever stayed. To top it off, the owner made us feel extremely welcome. Knowing that we just got married, we arrived to find the suite decorated with "Just Married" posters, flower petals on the bed, and chilled wined with chocolates set out for us!! Highly reccommended. WE WILL BE BACK!!

The property was very clean. Manager was helpful and friendly. I didn’t realize that the property was a house that had been turned into separate suites and that it has a shared kitchen, dining area, and living room. Fortunately we were the only ones staying there at the time. When I saw the pictures of the property I didn’t see that it was going to be a shared place. I think this should be made clearer on the web site

We visited Kerrville to attend a conference and made the decision to stay off the premises. We are so grateful we found BoisD'Arc. It is truly a five-star experience, and we have traveled all over the world. Clare has thought of every amenity to make the stay comfortable. There are too many too list. We look forward to visiting again soon. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kerrville!
