they forgot the booking of a massage we did, it happens but I would have offered something in return to make up for it

Food was good, but not overwhelming.
Quiet location and rather close to the centre.
Humiliating situation in the restaurant on the second day of our stay, with couples sitting at either side of our table, discussing and joking loudly over our heads, making it difficult for our personal conversation and our ability to concentrate on the food. The Maître d'hôtel did not see the necessity to intervene and even participated.
Poorly lit rooms. No handrails in the staircase. Extremely poorly lit swimming pool area with insufficient handrail to access the pool up and down over stairs, resulting in a fall and multiple serious bruising. Older or visually impaired guests beware! On reporting this fall to the manager at the desk it was dismissed as unimportant, not a single word of regret for the incident and pain. Additional hazard is getting in and out of the lift with a danger of stumbling over the unadjusted height at the lift exit.

The woman working at the desk was helpful and friendly
The atmosphere in the bar area wasn’t great. We had a back room at the top which was stuffy and had views of mattresses outside. No sun lounge area. I’m vegetarian and my daughter is vegan. When we discussed food options with the maitre d there was no specific menu for either and he was pretty grumpy pointing out things in the menu that could be accommodated.

Exceptional breakfast, especially the home made pastries. Very good coffee.
Smiling and helpful personnel.
The food of the traditional Dolomitian restaurant is quite blunt, not very tasty, though it is made with quality ingredients.
One thing that I would like to outline: please ask for the wine list before ordering wine (it is not handed to you by default!). I was charged 15 euros for a glass of red wine (see photo) offered by the head waiter without presenting me before a range of available wines (by the glass) to chose from.
Although I booked a double room, I have found only ONE bathrobe in the bath.
When raining, the noise from the outdoor drainpipe is very annoying at night.
