About this bed and breakfast
Main Creek Bower Bed and Breakfast is a traditional cabin style Bed and Breakfast.
We are NOT an Air B&B!
We are a private cabin set in rainforest in the Tanawha Valley at the western foot of Buderim Mountain at the centre of the Sunshine Coast. The cabin, a converted church hall is attached to our 1920s Queenslander via verandahs and decks.
Privacy is ensured in the spacious surrounds encompassing lounge room, dining space, limited kitchenette (microwave, toaster, small fridge and crockery& cutlery) king bedroom, shower ensuite and second twin-share bedroom. A menu-style hot breakfast, sparkling wine, port& chocolates are all included.
Location
90km north of Brisbane, take the Sunshine Motorway exit, take Buderim exit left, go straight ahead on Old Bruce Highway (Tanawha Tourist Drive), past Liberty Service Station and turn left at road before windmill (Main Creek Road) 1.2km on right behind tall picket fence.

Very quaint Cottage, Loretta and Pam were very pleasant and made our overnight stay enjoyable. Wonderful Breakfast served that we ate on the veranda while being surrounded by the stunning rainforest. Would certainly stay again.

Great overnighter for businesz trip. Owners could not be more helpful. Good breakfast, the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get out . Nice touches like free wine & port.

Gorgeous cottage separate from main house. Delicious breakfasts and very spacious area for your fur family to run and explore. Lovely hosts. Very clean and generous continental breakfast options. Highly recommend.

Lovely people and property but currently not good for asthmatic's due to the strong musty smell. Lost the full amount paid unfortunately.

This little piece of paradise took us completely by surprise . Wonderful hosts , great location, comfy cottage , splendid cooked breakfasts and other well stocked items as well as a fully fenced yard and garden for our dog .. we couldn’t fault this little gem

Dealing with VRBO was the hardest part. House was magnificent inside and out. Hosts were too. Food was good and generous. Only improvement I could suggest is an air conditioner for the second room. Otherwise as good as you could hope for

Pam and Loretta are absolutely lovely and completely welcoming hosts. Everything we could need had been catered for and if on the odd chance it had been missed all we had to do was ask! It was amazing that we could have a night away and bring our puppy with us / she was super excited by the big fenced garden with lots of new smells!

We had struggled to find anywhere that would allow us to stay with a dog. Finding this place that not only allowed the dog but also supplied him with his own fully fenced yard was a blessing.
As for the accommodation itself, the owners were extremely hospitality and provided a very comfortable experience. The breakfast menu was extraordinarily extensive and there were "extras" all over the place, and it was all fully restocked daily.
Absolutely recommended this stay if you're looking for somewhere close by the Sunshine Coast with easy access, but like me actually get sick of the sound of waves all through the night.

Loved our cooked breakfast on the balcony the next morning too. Definitely recommend this place. Very relaxing.

Our accommodation space was comfortable and inviting as were the loung chairs on the front deck. Its a great base to explore the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and all it has to offer. We have booked for another stay this year already.

Hi, my name is Coco and my human parents took me on holiday. Wow! What a place, there was a huge enclosed garden that I could do zoomies around the tree in the middle. And I was allowed inside so I could smell the awesome breakfasts the lovely ladies cooked for them. Unfortunately they have this stupid rule about not feeding me from the table so I only have their word that it was delicious. However I did see how clean and comfortable the place was.
All I can say is I hope we go back there again soon.

If quiet perfection had a definition, it had to be ‘Main Creek Bower B&B’. Pam and Loretta just went out of their way to cater for every detail to make our stay the most pleasant we haven’t experienced since our memory goes back! From the warm welcome, over the pleasant conversations, the daily clean-up, the dog-sitting on Saturday so we could visit the Ginger Factory, to the most fabulous range of hot breakfasts – simply superb and unparalleled! Exceptional good old-fashioned Service, with a capital ‘S’ indeed! Thanks a lot! Bernie & Yves
