Old-style grandure and elegance

Great location in the centre of everything. Traditional old-style elegance. Accommodating staff. They let us check in early. Spacious comfortable rooms. Grand public areas.

Our room was on the front of the building and overlooked the street which was very noisy. We wore earplugs to sleep.

Très bel hôtel

Notre chambre quadruple venait d'être repeinte et sentait très fort le vernis; nous avons été déplacés dans une suite à la place; bravo pour la réaction. Amara toujours très sympathique portier. Beau buffet pour le petit-déjeuner avec fruits frais et excellent jambon fumé.

La durée de l'attente pour le taxi commandé à la réception pour aller à l'aéroport.

Una experiencia maravillosa!

La limpieza, el desayuno super completo, la amabilidad del personal y la ubicación del hotel. Mención aparta la arquitectura del hotel q es un plus increíble.

Quizás falta folleteria e información en las habitaciones para conexión wifi, room service, etc.. cosas q se solucionaron rápidamente consultando en conserjería, pero es muy práctico tenerlo a mano en la habitación.

Gostamos de tudo! O hotel é lindo, quartos grandes, confortaveis, cafe da manha muito bom! Atendimento excelente, em especial do atendente Javier, que foi muito simpatico e prestativo em nossa estadia. Voltarei com certeza!

Localização e limpeza. Arquitetura bonita.

No meu caso a água do banheiro estava escura. Tinha que ligar de desligar. Só funcionava o sistema de aquecimento porém mesmo com ele desligado estava quente no quarto. Café da manhã tolerável se você for ficar até 3 dias. Mais que isso que foi meu caso fica ruim. Todo dia a mesma coisa.. ovos muito ruim. É um hotel caro já fui várias vezes em Buenos Aires e há melhoras.

The decor, the food, the service. The staff did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable.

Enjoyable stay in what was once probably a very grand hotel.

Liked the location, the decor, although it does look a bit dated.

The lack of a mirror in the bedroom. The only mirror was in the bathroom so I had to dry my hair in there. Didn’t like the fixed shower head, always needed a shower cap.

they put all the food for breakfast in a small area and it felt like feeding time for cattle. if they would spread out the food a little bit more and give people elbow room it would add a lot of class to the experience.

Temperature of roons was not pleasure. Some time very Hot other cold. We can not control The temperature should be more stable The view of room . I just could see walls. Some rooms does not have bathtub No bathrobe

Elegant, affordable historic hotel with excellent restaurant and perfect location

Good breakfast; lots of choice. Nice dining room; well presented. Staff made us an breakfast to put in our fridge as we had an early AM departure. All staff accommodating and pleasant. Location perfect for walking to historic buildings. The Savoy has a grand historic feeling to it. The rooms are very comfortable with good beds and quiet. We stayed at the Savoy twice during our visit to Argentina and loved it! We will stay again when we return to Buenos Aires on our next trip. Restaurant served gourmet food, delicious and well-priced. We had 3 of our 4 dinners there as we found it so appealing.

Lovely Art Deco hotel.

Grand old building with large rooms that have beautiful 1920s Art Deco cornice coving & ceiling decorations. The hotel has an opulent feel & when you read about the previous residents you can image bumping into Albert Einstein or Evita Peron on the staircase.

Largely the staff were not attentive enough. The bar area is popular, but the two staff manning it don’t spot you walking in & taking a seat, so you wait ages to be served. Tables are not cleared so remain festooned with dirty crockery & many of the ingredients for cocktails etc are not in stock. The same issues arise at breakfast with fresh pastries, yogurt etc running out & not being spotted by the staff. This can be easily remedied with some customer service training & effective management overseeing things.

Wonderful experience

The staff was very attentive to my children's needs. The breakfast was complete and delicious! Checking in and checking out was easy and quick. Beautiful hotel and great service! Will definitely return.

Would not recommend unless Savoy remodeled all rooms

Helpful and friendly porter and front desk staffers.

Older hotel and rooms with dim lighting unlike the photos. Breakfast was basic and simple unlike the photos.
