The rooms were spacious enough and the beds were comfortable, but we expected that since we paid for it as we would for a hotel with no food. The wifi was good as expected. Taxi ride is cheap in the city.
The parking situation is AWFULL in that part of the city. The host said that the parking is free on the street, but it wasn't. I had to park on the top of the hill which was the closest free parking and it was about 1.5 km from the apartment and you had to climb up to get the car, or to get a taxi every time you need to go to your car. IT COSTS ABOUT 40 EUROS PER DAY TO PARK YOUR CAR ANYWHERE IN THAT PART OF THE CITY, SO IT IS NOT FREE !! We had a problem with the electricity grounding in the shower as well, and the hosts said that the electrician can come 1 day after I called, and since we were staying 3 nights there, I declined and insulated the shower handle myself by duck taping the plastic bag to it, so we don't get shocked while we are in the shower.

The first time we stayed in this apartment was in 2021. Last year we really liked the apartment, so we booked it again. But this year we have seen poor property management. By the time of check-in, the apartment was not ready. We had to wait 2 hours for cleaning. The administration did not respond to a request to provide another set of bed linen, since we have adult children and they sleep in different beds. The shower cubicle was covered with a thick layer of dirt. We had to shower in beach shoes.

The location of this place is great. Quiet neighbourhood and pretty places around to eat.
From the moment we arrived this place was a deception, we couldn't enter the code in the box to get the keys as the code they sent was wrong. So we had to call them and get the correct code.
When we finally got into the place, first thing we saw were stained mattresses, the place had no sheets! And no toilet paper!
We looked everywhere and we couldn't find them, the sink in the kitchen was full of hairs, and the shower drain was full of hairs as well. There were some towels folded, but when I unfolded them I saw some hairs as well. The shower was not cleaned...so many things.
We called the host, and even though he appeared nice and responsive, he just sent a couple of people to put the sheets in the bed so we could sleep, but they didn't clean. By then it was already too late for us to find another place.
The cherry on top was a little note that said we could find our complementary breakfast in the fridge, and of course there was nothing.
We called the host again to let him know that we were not happy, he mentioned he would make it up to us, and nothing really happened.
So overall, the place disgusting, a total disappointment, I don't even understand why this place had such nice reviews. If you want to stay in a clean place, do not stay here. This is my first bad experience with booking- so sad.

property was not made available on time & their people think is ok to deliver it with a delay of some hours and dirty and then have you wait for their unprofessional cleaning people ( whom they did not even bother to ask clean the property before the customers arrival). not timely delivery of keys, useless emails and communications ,dirty and unkempt property, unprofessional cleaning people, rude management …I sort AVOID and do not be fooled by photos or their positive overall reviews … reality is very different and it will cost you
management and communication is lousy … they will send you many emails and messages with promises and policies but they keep none .., and they are very happy to keep your money without providing you with anything… Do a favor to yourself and stay away from Athens Blues
A-The response per management clearly shows they are unprofessional and have no problem with grossly lying about the events that took place.
We were very pleasant and understanding when you said not possible to check in early when we asked you days in advance.
We made arrangements to take a car service and yes it did cost 70 Euros and made the arrangement (even though our transatlantic flight arrived at 10am) to arrive after 3pm as per your confirmation at 2pm that same day that the room would absolutely be ready for check in at that time.
We were not notified in advance that property was not ready!
We arrived at 3:13pm and put in the key code to get the key for the apartment. The warm welcome of Athens blue was not having put the key in the box for us to pick up. We then had to call them and explain there wasn’t a key for us there...the response was ( not an apology) I will be there in a few minutes to drop it off. 20 minutes later a guy arrived on a scooter, again no apology but informs us by the way the apartment hasn’t been cleaned.
We wait over an hour for them to arrive. They then cleaned for 1/2 hour tops. Remember the apartment is two bedrooms with kitchen and sitting area, and the state of the place was an absolute mess. There is no way two people could have done a deep cleaning ( we were told Athens blue needs the time between 11-3 to ensure deep cleaning and disinfecting is done after guests leave).
There isn’t enough room on this review to go into how unprofessional and terrible the customer service was.
No one apologized to us, and no compensation was ever offered. We explained we cannot stay under these conditions and said we were leaving. No keys were ever thrown!

The apartment was fully equipped but unfortunately the coffee machine and toaster were out of service.

The bed was comfortable. The location close To city centre
The house was not really clean. Only on the surface but below beds and furniture there was dust and crumbs etc. The dishes were soaked in water and smelled damp, jar of empty Nutella in the cupboard... the bathroom was small, damp and smelly, black mold covered the ceiling, mold within the shower, water in shower did not drain well so you end up taking a mini pool shower, no ventilation in the bathroom.
The baby cot had a made up mattress which was a folded duvet covered with a kids bed cover. Very dangerous as this could cause SIDS. Messaged Via the mobile provided the host no response until we left. Appalling not to mention reckless.

The property is nice and it is in a very central location. Lovely restauratns nearby. Just a footwalk from the center.
We had a rental car. The information in the description didn't fit. Every parking space in the surrounding is for permanent inhabitants or for parking less than 3 hours. Since the description shows free parking, we had a lot of penalty costs.
At 8 a.m. every morning there had been terribly loud construction work.
There is mould at the bathroom ceiling.

Very comfortable and spacious Airbnb at an affordable price point and it was convenient to walk to many locations within the city center. Also very easy to self check-in (keys at the door).
The items in the kitchen were not cleaned e.g. pans had egg stains likely from previous guests.
The code to retrieve the key was changed and would have appreciated it if the host informed us earlier.
The Airbnb is located at the top of a path of steep stopes and stairs (from the city center and the train station) so it might not be accessible for some.

The code for the key box was wrong, i had to call the owner to send me the new one.
They were still cleaning the apartment when we arrived, the check in was in 15:00 and we arrived at 16:40, we had to wait for the cleaning lady to finish mopping and i had to leave my children 30 mins waiting for the floor to dry, with the windows open during winter..

This property is at a very central location only a few minutes walk to the center of Kolonaki and Syntagma Square. The flat is spacious and nicely furnished, with all kind of necessary equipment/facilities. The hosts are very helpful and easily reachable through phone/whatsapp during the day.
Nothing they can control. The appartement is located in one of the up-hill streets of Kolonaki - thus it might be a bit difficult to walk up on the steep hill for families with stroller or maybe for old people. But Kolonaki is a hilly neighbourhood and I presume everyone coming to Kolonaki already would know about this in advance. Moreover, the taxis are quite cheap in Athens which would make things easier for people with such mobility problems.

Stayed here on 16/10/21 for 3 nights. We booked mainly as the property was described as family friendly and with complimentary breakfast provided.
Our flight arrived late into Athens on Friday night. We had already informed the host of this who advised this was not an issue and the key will be available in a padlock outside the property. A pin was provided to the padlock on email prior to our arrival.
When we arrived at the property at 11:30pm, we were unable to open the padlock. We called the number of the host which went was not answered. Eventually someone called back and said the pin provided on email was the wrong one. With two tired kids in tow, there was no apology.
The notice in the apartment for the complimentary breakfast mentioned there was something already in the fridge for the morning yet the fridge was empty.
We called the host and they said due to Covid they were no longer providing breakfast yet Booking.com advertised the property with breakfast and the notices inside the apartment confirm the same. The host snapped back with sarcasm asking what were we expecting and in the past it has been a snack.
There was no parking available locally off-street as advertised or confirmed during booking. The local streets were residential permits only. We had to park at the local hotel at 25euros per night.
Summary of issues:
• Showers leaking/ kitchen sink leaking
• Kitchen ill equipped. Not enough plates/ cups/ bowls. There were not even a set of 4.
• No microwave to heat food
• No dishwasher tablets / bin bags provided.
• Host unavailable. The occasions when we tried to reach the host, there was no dial tone or phone was not picked up. Eventually when the host picked up, rude and condescending.
This decor of this property is nice but it’s such a shame it’s so poorly managed.
My advice book a hotel if your expectation is for a serviced apartment. The cost of this apartment was the equivalent to some of the local well reputed hotels.

the apartment equips with a washing machine, however, they don't provide the detergent (they told me they don't provide it, but I saw there was an empty detergent powder bag). Who will bring detergent with them when they are travelling?
same as dishwasher tablet...
and we stayed there for 5 days they only gave us 2 toilet paper.......

The appartment was very confortable- exactly how it looks in the pictures. Good A/C and a few products (oil, bath products) to make the stay more confortable and easy
The initial time of the check in was moved to an hour later and the appartment wasn't fully ready until 1h30 after the initial check in. In other situation this may have not been an issue, but we came from a long trip and this caused us some inconvenience as we wanted to rest in the place as soon as we arrived.

Accommodated an early check-in due to us having to move on from another apartment. A fantastic location, comfy beds, coffee machine, good heating and cooling, WiFi and nice shower with good hot water supply.
A poor but not unrecoverable start with the incorrect pin for the lockbox. However, inside the apartment there was a terribly strong cigarette smell while meant to be a non-smoking apartment, and it didn't clear over the four days of our stay. When I put on clothes at my next destination, the smell was in my clothes! The kitchen tap leaked and sink plug was broken so could not fill the sink with water, stove top cracked with dangerous sharp edges, chipped crockery, no cutting board that we could find, no clothes washing detergent, the electric blind in the master bedroom did not work, reading light fixing had come out of the wall and was wedged in place by the bedhead, TV did not turn on. The hairdryer was a cheap unit that didn't stay fixed to the wall during use and was very inefficient. The second bedroom is very tiny with no hanging space. The "platform" in the living area where the table is located is very odd and somewhat dangerous as a fall hazard. If the owner can address these items, it would go way up in value for money and amenity - each item on it's own not a deal breaker, but altogether, accumulated into a disappointing experience, 30% more expensive than our previous place which was better styled and enjoyable.

Everything was perfect. Very nice appartment in a great location in Athens. Very clean and confortable. Highly recommended.
